Would have been a 5 but our site was one of a very few that had standing water. Over all great park in a beautiful setting and the best WiFi we have ever had!

Reception person was very nice and professional. We specifically chose this site for the cable & WiFi--neither worked. Called to see about getting it fixed and were told that our antenna booster was causing the problem--we don't have an antenna booster.Sewer pipe had a 1/4"x4"x12" old piece of wood over it upon arrival; should there be a cap instead so gases don't escape when no one is hooked up?

Nice clean park, friendly family-owned staff. We stayed here for a year doing pipeline work and never had any issues other than fuzzy cable. Would stay here again if ever in Lufkin.

Nice sites, cable was bad and finally went totally out. Wifi was up and down. Lots of road construction in the area.

The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Love the cement pads. Makes setting up easy. The camp was very clean but there were a couple of units that were very old and unsightly with materials stored all around them.

We got in a little bit late at night, not expecting to have a problem getting a site. Lo and behold they were completely filled with one empty site. Office was close but when I called the number the manager shot straight down to set us all up for the night. Excellent bathroom for showers

It was ok. It is clean and seems to be well maintained. It is also very small and the office was closed most of the time.

Check in was extremely easy. The manager was friendly and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Campground and office were well kept and very clean.

The owner didn't conform to KOA regs. Lied about cable, WIFI both down a month and a half. Didn't mow or weed eat more than once per month. Vary bad attitude, if you questioned him it was tough if you don't like it move out. Arguementive, I was asked to leave because of his mistake. Provoked an arguement.would not recommend to anyone and KOA international should revoke their license to run a park

It was a good stay. The only small thing would be to make up a sheet with TV channels on it. We were told the channels numbers on the map of the property given us were incorrect that they were now in ABC order. So it took a while to figure out channels without running up and down the entire list. Not a big thing but would be helpful. Thanks

Internet and cable worked well. Clean, nice concrete pads. Kind of pricey ($42 night) considering it is promoted as an RV resort but only amenities are cable,internet, and garbage pick-up.

Very friendly. Anything I needed while I was there was immediately provided. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the lufkin area.

The Lufkin, TX KOA doesn't stand up to it's name -KOA. There was only three bathrooms for the whole area. Shower curtains were dirty. Playground had weeds everywhere. The pool was dirty. My daughter said she couldn't see anything under water-it wasn't blue; it was green. No staff was around. The welcome center was closed the whole time we were there. Looked abandoned!

At our site the sewer collection piping was ABOVE the grade of the RV delivery. Poop WILL NOT run uphill. The site next to ours had the same problem.

Worst KOA I have ever stayed at. Only stayed 3hrs at this dump. Owners are dishonest and unprofessional. Packed up and stayed at the KOA in Rusk. Well worth the drive much better park, very beautiful, lots of room, and the owners were awedome. Avoid Lufkin KOA at all costs.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Camper was asked to leave due to dog tied on 20 ft lead while camper was gone. Other campers complaining of the dog barking and howling. Dog bit one camper that was trying to comfort dog. We moved dog to k9 kamp and dog bit us as well. Glad camper learned to contain dog while at another KOA.

The tent camping is small and only four spots. If there happened to be six people per campsite as allowed it would be very crowded. What was nice about it was the water and power was set up for each site I large person the shower was adequate but the commode was small and in one restroom was unusable for me. Issues: Commode,road noise, manager smoking in the store/desk

Staff very friendly! Nice pool area! Bath house nice but a little small and no hand soap for washing hands! Play ground area was nice but needed a little grounds keeping attention to remove grass and weeds from mulched area! All in all enjoyed our stay!

Very nice park. We pulled in after hours aND our reservation packet was on the door. However there was no receipt inside. I need for our records for tax purposes so now I hope I still have my confirmation email so I can try to print it.

This could be a premier KOA but, it's just okay. All sites are level, pull-though/backend, few cabins on site, a tent camping next to RV parking and canins. Bathrooms are clean but are minimal (no soap/shampoo dispensers. Wifi is hit or miss (more of a miss) and the 70 channels of cable are more like 13 (bad reception). It was quiet at night and most tenants are in for various job in the area.

Convenient location, good level concrete pads, nice pool, playground and lounge area. We didn't need or use the laundry, shower house or the guest cabins, but those were also available. Our only suggestion would be that some additional weed removal and landscaping would enhance the overall appearance of this park.

Adequate for an overnight stay but the grass around the pad needed tending to make set-up/breakdown easier. Pool was best feature!

Needs some fire rings at campsites. Needs privacy fence to block noise from main highway. Clean park. Friendly staff.

Clean site with everything as described except that the cable was not working and wouldn't be for another couple of weeks, and the wifi was inaccessible. The network never showed up on any of my devices, and I was in the center of the park! When I called the office to ask the network name so I'd know what to look for, the person who answered the phone didn't know it. Good stay, otherwise.

We have visited this location multiple times and each time we have found it to be clean and the staff is very friendly. The new added sites are perfect for leveling also included a fire pit, covered seating and beautiful grassy area for our pets. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. We definitely plan to visit again.

Very clean bathrooms/shower. Tent site layout was a little confusing, and would have been better with a gravel tent pad. But otherwise a nice place to stay.
