I had the best time! Everyone was so friendly. Even though I showed up 1/2 hour after closing someone was there to help me. I had had a very long and stressful day so being greeted with such grace was amazing! If I ever get back that way I’ll stay there for sure!!

Very quite and scenic area. Needs grounds improvement ie. stone for site areas, really needs shade trees and could use some activities. Kids had the playground, and pool. Nothing to do in town. Right now we would rate it as a good stop-over campground.

The staff was helpful and courteous. I stayed in a camping cabin and it was okay, but the bed (bunkbed was a bit uncomfortable despite that I brought a foam pad to soften it. The grounds seemed kept at a basic level, but I didn't explore the entire campground. Bathroom (men's side) was clean and shower worked well.

Love this place so much! Really appreciated the COVID protocol - the contactless check-in was amazing! The cabin was spotless and the campground was quiet and serene. Never thought I'd make Lyman a destination, but I'm already planning a trip back!

It is a nice property, but was fairly upset that rules were not enforced. One camper decided to play "fetch" with their dogs through our campsite. As a dog owner I appreciate the ability to get my dogs some exercises, but as a camper, I also respect other peoples areas and keep my dogs on a leash.

We called ahead to let them know we would be arriving after dark in a large motorhome with a towed vehicle. When we pulled up at 9:45pm, someone was waiting for us and lead us to our spot. Very helpful and polite. Much appreciated after a long day's drive. Not a fancy place but well kept and very clean.

We just stayed at 5 KOAs in the past month and this was the only one where as soon as we pulled up the sweetest girl came out to help us and escorted us right to our spot. Best checkin of them all! Great little spot to stay overnight on our way back West.

Traveling interstate 80 we stayed at Lyman KOA just for one night. Close to highway 80 but no noise. Quiet place for RV’s, trailers, tent area, cabins, pool, office with supplies, some groceries, basketball court and lots of grass areas if you travel with dogs like us. Some sites with full hookups, and a dump station for those sites who did not rent a full hookup space. Accommodating staff.

If you just want a place to stay for one night this place is okay. Sites were close and not well maintained. Never received a site map.

Forget Disneyland, Lyman KOA is really the happiest place on Earth! So green, relaxing, and so much cooler than my state. I haven’t even mentioned all of the delicious foods from the Snack Shack. Tastier than when I use the same ingredients at home. Easy to get to and close to some great spots. Cannot wait to return to the Lyman KOA to enjoy the awesomeness. Shout out to Clint, Kate, and Caleb!

Everyone was great. Employees wore masks. Several other guests did not, but they kept to themselves. Easy to pull in and out.

I loved how friendly the camp hostess and helpers were. We are both high risk and it was our first overnight stay in months. The curbside check in was great and you could tell the cabin was super clean and sanitized prior to us checking in. The restrooms were super clean as well. Masks being worn by most everyone. You can reserve pool time. Absolutely would this KOA recommend

Traveling back to Idaho from Michigan. We'd reserved a site in Rock Springs - drove by and decided it was too sparse (i.e. no trees...and was bigger than we'd thought), reserved Lyman location online instead--glad we could be accommodated. :) VERY nice site! Glad we drove the extra hour. :) Was nice it was 1.5 miles from the freeway.

no septic :( no 50 amp :(

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do have septic and 50 amp service, Unfortunately for this party we were sold out for both of these services for the night of their stay. We were able to get them a 30 amp service with water instead of sending them down the road. I may suggest getting your reservation early on weekends.

Staff super helpful and friendly. Campground was quiet. It is close to freeway, but not right next to it. We will definitely stay here again.

Easy to find, office/restrooms very clean. My only comment, our camp site should have been given a once over for small bits of debris. Enjoyed yer our stay.

We stayed in a rustic cabin the first night and a modern one the second night and both were very clean and comfortable. This KOA is the quietest place and the workers are the BEST.

Cabins are always clean and cozy. There are plenty of activities on site, as well it is only about a 10 minute drive from Fort Bridger. The Lyman KOA Journey is by far the BEST little weekend getaway and Clint and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing.

Great place. Great owners. My family has been coming here for many years for the Mountain Man Rendezvous held nearby in Ft. Bridger. These people really take care of the place. The restrooms, laundry mat and pool are always clean, as well as every other facility I can think of. Our granddaughters really like the playground too.
