Great location to visit the Minneapolis side of the Twin Cities. Level spot with some shade, nice shower facilities.

The campground is cozy and friendly. We stayed for 2 nights and had no issues. The staff is friendly and courteous. Bathrooms are clean and convenient from any part of the campground. We would consider a future stay!

Clean and spacious sites. Quiet location. Hosts were very cooperative and compassionate upon our learning that we had an issue with our RV and had to stay an extra night. They juggled their incoming arrivals without any complaining and offered their assistance in any way that they could help. Would definitely recommend.

Poor WiFi, no cable. Could use trash containers around campground or do a pick up each morning, rather than having to walk to main dumpster each day. Other than that good location.

The staff is friendly and so helpful. Many sites have ample shade. Restrooms are kept clean and other facilities are also maintained well. We have been going to this KOA for many years and have enjoyed our stay every time.

We enjoyed our stay at the Minneapolis NW KOA. Our site was great and all the hook-ups worked well. The small pool and putt putt course were excellent bonuses and there were plenty of play areas for both two and four legged campers to play. We will definitely look to stay here again when our travels bring us this direction.

The Employees at this location were amazing! the gentleman that escorted me to my location was very experienced and made sure that all my concerns and questions were answered. Not being an expert in RVing myself. he made everything easy. ,

This place is at great location if you have a need to visit western Minneapolis. The staff are friendly. Like most KOA's it shows it age and use but is still a good place to stay.

This campground is very well maintained. We have a larger camper and were unsure of how our back-in site would work, especially since we had to move it halfway through our stay to dump sewer. The site was easy to back into, had a fire pit, and nice picnic table. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and work to keep the bathroom and other facilities clean. We were very happy with our stay.

Stay and camp site are Good. Pool Cement is real jagged, and not smooth, can cut a foot, Or slip and fall. Some Maintenance needs to be done. Clean Facilities. Not bad. They charge for kids, but new that up front. And they also charge for Guests. If guest are just coming for a visit they should be able to use the facilities. There only there for the day. How many stay the night.

Nice big campsites, pool and mini golf were fun kiddos enjoyed that! The only downfall was lots of fireworks late Saturday night that woke us up :(

Nice location, clean bathrooms, fabulous staff….guests letting off fireworks until after midnight, one dog that barked at everyone and everything.

Quiet campground, clean restrooms. It was a one night stay as we were traveling through but the owners waited for us to get there past 9pm and we appreciated their kindness.

This KOA was great! We ended up coming in a day early and thought we would have to move sites the next day. They worked their magic and was able to keep us on the same site. All the staff was super friendly. Thanks for all your help.

This was not one of the nicer KOA’s we have stayed at. It was satisfactory. Did not feel it was up to kOA standards. Main building needed some TLC. Water smelled horrible! We never drink water in these parks but it smelled like bad pipes, ie, iron/galvanized steel. Seemed clear and clean but yuck.

Spots by road too noisy. Had to turn radio on white noise loud to get sleep. Some staff not very friendly. Paying to have our adult children come just for dinner and campfire twice is wrong. I understand if using pool or showers, but we stayed on our site.

We’re having some electrical issues with our fifth wheel Gary came over to help and also brought the other maintenance person over. These guys went above and beyond to help us figure out the problem. These guys should be commended for their willingness to lend a hand. Thanks

Great staff, clean facilities. Needs some updates and, as with most KOA'S, more space between campsites. Interesting experiment would be to test an enlarged campsite area with a surcharge to have more privacy. No fun to be less than 25' from your neighbor when outside.

We like MINNEAPOLIS NW KOA. It is a restful and tree strewn campground which is less then 5 miles from any kind of shopping needs. It is a place to stay and stock up the RV for beginning of your westward exploration. (Or Eastward exploration). The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.

We came to the area for a wedding. This KOA was extremely convenient for us. I made reservations kind of late but I think because we are rewards club members, we were able to make reservations and get in!! Our site was quite small. It would've been tough to enjoy the site by having a fire etc. but we really didn't have much time anyways. The owners were extremely helpful by knowing the area.

Had a great time! The campsites were clean and well kept with a picnic table and fire ring. We were escorted to our site upon check-in. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Grandkids enjoyed the pool and mini golf and s'mores. The bathrooms were clean with hot water. We would recommend to other campers. The only reason for not giving a 5 star review is the unpleasant odor in the bathrooms.

Was very impressed with the personnel at the campground. Check in was easy and fast. The pool was the only thing that we had time to use and it was good. Area around the pool to sit was a little cramped for the member of people there. Campsite was too close to the wetland that produced a lot more mosquitoes than we would have liked. Overall a very good experience.
