We had a site with water and electric. While pitching our tent, my husband bumped the electric box and got a pretty severe shock, leaving a burn several inches long on his hand and swelling up his arm. We notified the front desk and basically nothing was done for about 18 hours, when staff was rather rude to my husband and found out the whole row of sites was live due to a short. We left then.

We loved our stay - we had read reviews about the campsites being small, they were just fine and we had ample space. The kids had a blast. The staff were super friendly!

Excellent KOA. Very nice grounds - neat and clean. Most sited shady. Quiet, little road noise. Some noise from a nearby general aviation airport. Very nice amenities for families. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is lack of cable TV. Could only pick up 2 stations over the air and satellite was useless to to the very nice shade trees.

Stayed in cabin 1. Loved the stay!!! Everyone nice and friendly!!! Cute cozy cabin!!! Only problem was no water near by for doing dishes, washing hands or for drinking water?? Thank you!! Diane

The electric box we were using became “live” during our first night, so we could not use it or touch it for danger of electrocution. (Our friend who was tent camping next to us did touch it and got an electric burn.) It was disappointing that it was not covered or unhooked somehow, as it was a great danger to the kids playing nearby. It seemed that the staff did not take it seriously.

I felt safe and enjoyed the quietness of the campgrounds. The facility was clean and well kept. A great place for a family to stay and camp at. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Having stayed in the same cabin at another KOA, this one was disappointing in how there was no privacy from the other cabin with the shared patio and no yard to set up a game on. I realize there’s not much you can do now with them built that way, but maybe consider some fencing or barrier for privacy. Looks like the 2 cabins were a recent addition and were squeezed in without much consideration.

dog poop all over my site, packed to the gills, sewer dump station did not have a fitting on the hose to flush my black water tank.

Nice facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Sites feel small and smushed together. Clean bathrooms and large indoor pool. I believe we were supposed to get a site with a patio and did not. WiFi was fairly strong!

Overall this was a good stay. The grounds are kept up nicely, the bath/shower rooms are cleaned on a regular basis. Staying towards the front of the campground means weekday early morning noise (7am) from the neighboring machine shop/business which is understandable- definitely would be much more quiet towards the back of the campground.

Very close to the Valley state park along with the town of Jordan! The owners and employers were extremely welcoming and happy to help you! Great place for family as there is a big playground and a pool that goes to 9ft deep! Only negative thing I have to say is campsites are very close together and not for someone who wants a peace and quiet of a normal camping as there's is many kids around.

Great Staff, Very Clean Throughout the Campground! Only downfall was the Flies, they were terrible! My only suggestion would be to go back to the bag/traps you previously used and change them more often to minimize any foul odor. Our Thanks to Sharon and Jim, they were awesome, most others were good too. Tom

The flowers and grounds are beautiful. The pool and pool area was fantastic! Tom and Carol and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The RV site was clean with a good fire pit. We enjoyed our stay. There was a noise factor from the highway and the landscaping company trucks. The showers and laundry were nice. the shaded sites, the beauty, and the fun amenities make this KOA a great place to stay.

We camped in a tent with our three young kids. The pool and restrooms were clean and well maintained. The only downside was that our site was right beside the noisy pool which made it very difficult to get our sleepy toddlers to bed. Next time we will try for a site further from the pool. Staff was lovely and very helpful.

Beautiful park, pool was terrific and the staff was so friendly. Perfect first camping trip for my grandkids 5 & 8. Better that expected! Can't wait to come back!!

Everyone is so delightful, friendly and made the stay enjoyable. Our 8 year old was hesitant at first due to previous camping trips resulting in scary bathrooms, but she was more than happy to see the pristine (better than some hotel rooms) bathrooms. You could walk in barefoot and come out with clean feet. It was glorious! I look forward to staying again.

My granddaughter and I had a wonderful time!! We had stayed in the same cabin 3 years ago(my granddaughter was 5 and talked about how wonderful it was!) so we went back this year! Everyone was very accommodating and nice!! I plan on doing it again next summer!! Do you give a aarp discount?

I love it! Staff was so friendly always helping and the campsite was kept clean. Pool was clean big my son love it! Showers/bathrooms kept well clean I had a great time my son love it and my dog enjoy it! I will definitely recommend it and will be visiting soon!

Staff was very friendly. It was nice to be guided to our site. We stayed there because we were attending the Lakefront Music Festival in Prior Lake. Our site had a lot of shade and appreciated being near the pet exercise area.

We love this KOA and this 8 day stay was again delightful. This is our third annual visit here and we plan to stay here every year. The shaded sites, well kept facilities and friendly staft make this truly memorable.

The check-in staff was very friendly - no complaints. Sties are extremely tight with very little room for driving in our section of the campground. We were warned by a staffer -twice (we heard him the first time) - that we could use only one of our 2 AC units because it would blow up the electrical system. Could only imagine a massive fire in a very tightly-packed campground...

We had a great time here. We had 4 separate families renting out cabins as well as one pull thru camper site. The grounds were clean as well as the bathrooms, showers and pool. Kids loved renting out the various bikes and riding around the campground.

We have stayed at the MPLS Southwest KOA, its always clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are always super clean.
