The people here are always so nice and friendly. The location of the park is terrific. The bathrooms were very clean well cared for. We really enjoyed our stay. The wood fence at our campsite was broken and in need of repair. The pool area looked well cared for but because of the coolness of the weather we did not use the pool. Not a good stay Not sure how this is a KOA! This was one of the worst camp grounds I have been in. The place was over grown with grass trees needed to be cut and the drive in was so tight and the drive in the park trees had over taken. The place was probably nice in the past but not now. I will not return nor recommend it.

Overall it’s a good experience with this camping site, we went middle of June, i didn’t not feel any mosquitos, has shade, clean, pool was outdoors but clean, weather was cooler than warmer but manageable, shop on site had what we wanted, other campers were not too noisy..it’s on the creek but I couldn’t do much fishing, playground for kids,

For $63.00 a night we expected a lot more. No cable, weeds growing in the gravel areas and terrible wifi are not worth that price. We have stayed at G7 RV resorts and only paid $43-46 a night with level spots and great amenities. The Montpelier hosts are very nice but after our experience there and at a KOA in Rock Springs, Wyoming, we will avoid KOA campgrounds in the future. Thank you.

The camp hosts were wonderful. Lots of fun amenities. Nice little nature walk nearby. Dog friendly. I will go back.

This campground is a nice location for traveling toward Jackson Hole/Yellowstone, however the camp needs maintenance. Grounds are completely overgrown, no rhyme or reason to sites layout, office desk, at check in, is cluttered. But saying this it is a good place for one night stays.

Everyone who ran it were so nice and helpful! The creek was running high when we came and I had kids with me and they went out of there way to move us further from the creek. We will definitely be back.

Staff was friendly, had a nice big dog park for the dogs to run around. Spaces are a little tight as are the roads.

Great location but the grounds are totally unkept. Overgrown to the point you can barely make out campsite numbers. No effort by the staff to make things better at least during our 3 day stay.

The hosts were really nice. The only bad thing I could say is that the toilet water smelled a lot and filled the little cabin, but even that wasn’t so bothersome that it hurt my stay. The little nature walk was adorable and the creek was heaven! And you just can’t beat Montpelier, Idaho, for that beautiful country to drive through, explore, and fall in love with!

It was nice. It's rundown a bit and the grass is rarely mowed but I over looked that this last stay and just enjoyed the peace and quiet the KOA offered. The mountain setting is really a plus as is the creek.

The owners were absolutely amazing. Very helpful and informative. They went out of their way to help our family have a wonderful stay. The weather was against us and they saved our family by letting us move to a cabin. The store they have had any and everything you may need at reasonable prices. Clean grounds and comfortable safe place to stay for families! We cant wait to go back! Thank you!!

Very disappointed in the lack of maintenance at this place. This being Memorial Day weekend. you would think the place would be spotless! The grass needed to be mowed, it was literally 6 to 8 inches tall around our site!

The couple that runs it was very pleasant and always able to hep. The amenities were great. My kids loved the playground, the fire pit, and the WIFI. lol We enjoyed the area as well. The creek runs right at the top. Thank you!

Have stayed at KOA MONTPELIER probably 50 days within the past 3 years. We appreciate Jim and Brenda's hospitality and effort to make all of our stays a nice experience. I will be returning in 6/2020 on my way through.

This is a delightful park nestled back in the foothills. It is nicely appointed and honors the spirit of camping with just enough dirt, gravel, river rock and concrete. The creek trail is a child’s wonderland and a dog’s dream come true! There’s just enough opportunity to pretend for a child and plenty of sniffing for a travel weary Lab. The owner is kind and thoughtful.

Decent park; long spaces but a few of the trees could stand to be trimmed back; water pressure was somewhat low; good set up for dogs with bags & garbage receptacles around the park; restrooms were pretty nice. Courtesy coffee & nicely stocked store.

The setting was beautiful. The water pressure was bad. The entire park has "Hawthorne Bushes" with purple berries. They fell on our rigs and left purple stains, you would step on them and my puppy wanted to constantly eat them. The staff was very nice.

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
