We love this KOA , this is the 4th year we have stayed with them�

Love the ample shade, the games and activities to choose from, and the forest path. We absolutely loved it and wanted to stay longer. The only negative was the pool which, during our stay, was crowded with teenagers jumping in on others heads, pushing others into the pool, and non stop splashing in a bully manner. We realize that this is not always the case. Other than that, we loved it.

We enjoyed very much this stay at Montpelier. The spot we pulled through was perfect. Will definately stay here next year for baseball tournament.

We stayed in a luxury cabin, and didn’t camp like usual. The bathroom was dirty and needed a deep clean. The bathroom floor had hair that didn’t belong to us on it. I understand it’s not going to be luxurious, but should be clean for the amount of money we paid. There was even a pair of dirty socks in the corner that didn’t belong to us. My kids had a great time at the pool & games on the

Lots of baseball kids at park having a great time. Would suggest protective cover over horseshoe poles. Would be easy to trip over or fall onto while playing on field

The scenery is great. Nice and quiet. The best part of the stay were the host. Very friendly and helpful.

cut the grass and spray weeds. table and slab at campsite full of a sappy seed from trees. Restrooms clean. Overall place needs a good cleanup. Of 49 nights all over the Midwest this campground was the most expensive.

First of all the people who run the KOA in Montpiliar Creek are incredibly nice and extremely accommodating. We loved staying in the cabin. It had everything we needed including a small air conditioner. It doesn’t have a burner in the kitchen but does have a skillet you can use on the grill outside. The shower however was either really hot or really cold. But no worries they’re going to fix it

The host was very kind to help us come in late at night after 10pm when we were in need with trailer problems. It was very nice and a very clean campground. When we got to our final destination we wished we were still there!

People were very friendly. Camp was very clean and nicely placed by a stream. We did some fishing, rafting in a nearby lake, played games, and had a relaxing, enjoyable time.

Nice and clean campground! Could be updated a bit. The mattresses in the cabins were very uncomfortable for me. I would definitely bring a foam topper next time. Brenda and Jim are fantastic hosts and make you feel at home there.

We rented a deluxe cabin. It was clean and had everything as advertised. The owners were nice and helpful.

The pet policy was definitely not enforced! Campers across the road left dogs tethered and left to go watch the fireworks and the dog barked excessively while they were gone! Again the next day, same thing!! We left earlier then planned and forfeited our cost! We controlled our dog and we’re courteous to our neighbors! Very small campsites!

Dirty sites, more weeds than grass. Rules state one vehicle per site and all visitors must park in visitor parking, yet site 11 had 5 vehicles parked at their site for the 4th. Another camper had nightly arguments using the f-bomb repeatedly. If you are white trash and enjoy being around white trash, this KOA is perfect. Full hook up site was 45 per night. No cable service.

We stayed over night and had a site next to the creek. It is the nicest location at a KOA that we can remember. I caught a fish and we had a nice fire. It was a really pleasant experience.

The new owner host made our stay near perfect. The were great to accommodate all of our need and made our local friends and family feel welcome. What a great change from the past

The campsite needs work. The grass needed mowed everywhere, need sprayed for bugs/ wasps or at least put up catchers in trees, and needs bushes trimmed. The owners were nice and friendly but they need to maintain the grown's more.

We had earned enough credits to use but,unfortunately, you folks didn't know how or want to take the time to issue a credit. My wife will be getting a hold of the K.O.A. Headquarters to let them know about this. Please get trained on this procedure.

Clean and quiet small park. The creek running by is nice and there is shade provided by Hawthorn trees. There are 2 fenced dog runs. We didn’t use any of the facilities. it was a great place to relax and the family that owns and runs the park is super nice.

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
