The campground is in pretty good condition, and the cabins along the creek side are really nice. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it. The hosts were very friendly. Montpelier isn’t the nicest town we’ve seen though, but Bear Lake is pretty cool.

The owner/staff was very friendly. We got a very long pull through long enough to leave Jeep hooked up if we needed to. All hookups worked just fine. We had a nice shade out front. This is the second time staying at this park and would recommend this park.

Very clean grounds. Pleasant surroundings. Staff friendly. Pool clean and nice. Very nice playground. We had our 8 1/2 yr. old granddaughter with. She had great time. We had dog with. Dog run out of sight so did not feel comfortable allowing granddaughter take dog alone. That is only point I feel I did not like. Otherwise,we will certainly go back again. And recommend to friends.

The camping hosts were friendly and helpful. We love playing bocce ball and fishing at the creek. Our only complaint was that our camp spot was under a tree filled with prickly thorns. They must have trimmed the tree so it wouldn’t stab the tent but when they did it left tons of thorny branches all over the ground. They made holes in our shoes & tent and popped two air mattresses. :(

A quiet and peaceful park even as close to the hiway as it is. Sites are a little tight, but that's because rigs are bigger than they used to be. Operators are delightful. Hot, dry summer has taken a toll on the park but it's still a nice place, large trees, shady. Great amenities, pool looks lovely. Everything worked well. We'll be back.

I had a very nice stay here this last week. Brenda and Jim were very good hosts and if in the area again would love to stay there again.

Simply put, no re-investment since the day it open from what I could tell, it's a dump.

It was a great stay owners were very helpful. I was able to wash my RV as long as I watered the grass which I did restrooms were clean laundry facilities were also clean. Highly recommend this RV park

Hostess, Brenda, was very accommodating, and very concerned that our stay be a pleasant one. Facility is clean and well-maintained. As a bonus for the Oregon Trail historic area, the campground is bordered by the bouncing whitewater creek that caused meadows to grow and wagon trains to stopover for a few days’ rest back in the 1850’s. A very enjoyable experience for our first-ever KOA stay.

The campground is clean and the staff very pleasant. The sites are a bit un level and some full of potholes. This is a quiet campground well off the beaten path. The small town nearby has a sufficient grocery and hardware store. Other than that there isn't much here. We stayed for three nights and would stay again.

Bathroom and showers were clean. Campsites are a little close together we have problems with a youth group next to us. The river was a nice touch. A little pricey for what you get.

The hosts were very nice. The campground was well kept. The only thing I noticed that could have changed was the porch lite on our cabin was burnt out and the light inside the cabin also had a burnt out bulb. When we went to clean up at the end of our stay I found several items under the beds there were not ours.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I will say however that I was taken back arriving and seeing the sites not look like the images online. The grass was all dead which made me super sad since I had littles I was hoping I could let down. Other than that we loved it! I just feel like online should portray what you’re actually going to get. Also, we bought a cable for tv, and tv didn’t work.

Dead grass; high cost; weeds growing; hosts were nice. We didn’t stay longer than one night. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

We stayed here 5 years ago and it was pristine! We were so excited to bring our family here for a vacation. What a disappointment when we drove in. Things were overgrown, unkept sites...I thought the bridge was gone from being so overgrown. Dead mice were around the cabins, my son had to skim the bugs out of the pool before the grandkids got in. Very sad to see an award winning campground trash

This place used to be great and clean and well kept. It no longer is. The bathrooms were out of toilet paper on multiple occasions. The grounds were dirty and we did a late night check in, the lady said we could settle the payment in the morning and I went in the next morning and she ran my card without permission. They then couldn’t find what card she ran. Just extremely frustrating

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
