We loved our site with the patio and River, however The grounds were overrun with weeds, some of them 3 feet tall and prickly, the grass was spotty. We didn’t feel like it was up to the level of a KOA campground. The people were very friendly. They encourage you to pick up after your dog, but the garbage can for your dog was overflowing and bags were laying on the ground, The place needs work

The trash was piled up all weekend . The bathrooms are horrible . The shower heads were all falling off and messed up ( no water psi ). . The grass ( weeds ) was not hardly maintained and very hard to enjoy . I would have rather stayed else where and took a longer drive . We will not be staying again (unless we absolutely have to ) .

A friendly mom and pop KOA with clean restroom and laundry facilities. I really liked the completely shady nature trail that ran behind the creek, and the children enjoyed the yard art figurines in the garden in front of the office. Great place to stay!

The host was very friendly, helpful, and ran a wonderful campground!! I was very impressed and my family had a wonderful time!!!

The campground is located in a nice area. Improvements could be made in groundskeeping as the weeds look like they haven’t been cut in weeks. The entrance road and campground roads need to be graded as they are extremely rough. The pool was refreshing in the hot weather that we had while staying at Montpelier.

BROKEN SHOWER TILES AND BROKEN HAND DRYER KNOB. RESTROOMS DID NOT APPEAR TO BE CLEANED BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL OR ANYTIME DURING OUR STAY. LAUNDRY ROOM WAS NOT SWEPT BUT MACHINES WERE CLEAN AND WORKING PROPERLY. "FARM" ANIMALS OUTSIDE OFFICE WERE NOT APPRECIATED AS THEY SEEMED TO BE IN CRAMPTED QUARTERS, UNCLEAN WATER, ETC. HOSTS WERE FRIENDLY AND MADE ME FEEL WELCOME DURING CHECK IN PROCESS.

Really nice location and the old guy who worked the front was really nice. That being said, the park looks like it has fallen into disrepair. Weeds and pieces of trash all over. Numerous junked cars parked in the back field. Dead grass everywhere.

The place is small and cozy. It's about 30 minutes from Garden City. The staff there is amazing and accommodating. Would stay again.

Really enjoyed the friendly service and the special campsite next to the river. Listening to the river all night was extra relaxing.

This place is sad. It appears that no maintenance has been done in 2021 (this is July 2021 when I am writing this). Basically appears that the owners no longer care nor try to maintain this place to any kind of KOA standard. Our recommendation is that KOA delist. Highly recommend that you do NOT stay here.

Tent camping on motorcycle trip. Campsite was nice with shade. KOA is close to town but not in town so easy to go to town for dinner. People are very friendly and the bath facilities are new and clean. Really enjoyed my brief stay there and plan to return in the future.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the teardrop shaped loop we needed to take to exit had tents set up right at the inside curve. They let us change sites, but the exit road had a trailer in it. Since we were leaving at 3am, we had to back up in the dark down the long aisle. Apologies to the other campers our lights were shining in on. It was nearly full, but it's in dire need of TLC.

Had a quiet place right next to the creek which was nice and relaxing. It's a little run down and under maintained but it's camping!

Gentleman at office was very kind and helpful.The restrooms and laundry are nice.Playground is nice.The site was gravel with easy pull thru.The maintenance needed on this park is unbelievable.This park has potential, but is very neglected.The creek is very overgrown with weeds etc, the pool borders dangerous, the store needs cleaned, stocked and updated. Regular maintenance of entire park needed.

Courteous and prompt despite our checking in much later than we planned. Our site had a small water leak and we were immediately relocated (an upgrade) to another site. Only a somewhat unsatisfactory experience in the men’s bathroom (plugged toilet left standing) kept this rating from a five

Very easy checking. Nice owners. Made us popcorn because they were out of it in the store. Repaired leaking water faucet in site next to us as soon as we reported it. Would like to see trash containers screened and away from entrance. Otherwise very sweet place.

This KOA campground could be a five star if the owner took care of the place. The campsites were overgrown with weeds as was the rest of the park. The ducks, turkeys and chickens were great for the kids but were very “smelly.” Some maintenance of the buildings was also needed.

Park was run down with trees and bushes needing trimming. My Motorhome was rubbing on both sides on the way out. Good Sam rating grossly overrated the Park. Therefore I will never stay there again.

Bathroom in our cabin was filthy. Toilet, sink, tub hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Used condom on the floor. Pool pump/filter broken w/debris floating in pool. Paths overgrown. Garbage overflowing. At entrance managers have a dirty pen of chickens/turkeys with horrible stench. We stayed 2 yrs ago and things were clean/working, not this year. Won’t be back to this location. Very disappoint

Trailers it's OK to stay. Tent camping not recommended. The grass wasn't cut . The trees around the tent sites were not trimmed. I have a 2inch gash on my left arm from a tree with thorns by campsite. Burrs were in the grass everywhere. I had to shave my pup completely down because there were so many burrs I couldn't get them all out. I had 3 days reserved. I left after 1 night. Host were nice

Alot of noisy people. Dogs barking and kids screaming. Best part of the stay was the hot shower. Won't stay at another one ever in this lifetime. Lesson learned

We loved the peaceful, quiet creekside setting for our 4 night stay. Owners were so friendly and helpful. They dropped off brochures about Bear Lake at our campsite after we had mentioned our interest at check-in time. Site was very level with full hook-ups and beautifully shaded. We definitely would come back here for more camping fun!

When I checked in the people there very helpful, let me know about the area and drive into town was only 2 miles. Everyone should go to Bear Lake SP, it's awesome.

Very Disappointed with this KOA! The driveway into this park was Very Rough. I thought I was going to empty my cabinets. Once in the park, the roads were dusty dirt. Sites were over grown. There were young men driving though the park that didn’t appear to have a campsite in the park. I will not be staying here again.

Stayed here in 2016 and had dreams of staying here again. My first impression driving up was...This is not what I remembered or see online. I was confused. I looked over to the kids playground with weeds everywhere growing 2-3 ft tall. Is this real? It reminded me of the abandoned pictures of Chernobyl. To the left of the front door of the KOA main office was an empty Roundup sprayer and a ladder.

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
