The host was nice enough, our site was by the creek which was nice but there were signs that there was no wading in the creek which was an issue for our dog. The bathrooms were very nice, the wifi was ok but could have been better. The dog run was overgrown with grass and not very big - would be nice to have a good size off leash area for the pups.

This is a nice campground but with some TLC could be a precious gem tucked away. The owners are wonderful hosts and the cost of items in the store are fair priced. There is an area behind the tent sites with broken down vehicles that could easily be turned into more tent sites if removed plus nicer to look at and the playground needs a bit of an upgrade. Great location close to mountains and lake.

Bathrooms and shower stalls need a good cleaning. I'm not sure if they had been cleaned prior to our weekend stay. Other than that it was a nice stay.

The campground was so cute! The campsites are large with just enough room between you and your neighbor. It was such a cute family friendly campsite I definitely recommend!!!

The kids loved the pool, bocce ball and gift shop. We loved the creek space, the showers were good and the laundry was quick. The little farm animals were so fun too. We had a power outage, but the owners couldn’t do much about that. They were accommodating and we enjoyed our stay. It was very full in June.

The staff was friendly, park was clean, and the dog area was adequate. We had a tent site, and we felt a little too close to our neighbors but otherwise it was great.

We were to stay a tent campground with bark. There was not bark only thistles and goat heads. Needs to be kept up a bit more as the lawn more sat by the pool, but nobody cut the grass/weeds for the 3 days we were there. Bathroom/Shower's were very clean.

I think there's too many rv spots for such a small land space. I enjoyed my stayed though, very friendly staff.

Owner was nice but the place is a mess. Weeds everywhere, very tight spots, no vehicle parking once unhooked., just not what one expects from KOA and the money charged. This is a $30 a night park, not worth the amount paid. So here's the question, will I hear from anyone? Previous comments, both good and some not so good, I've never gotten anything but a canned response, very disappointing.

Such a great location, all the staff was very helpful, and the stream just in front of my cabin was an amazing addition!

This KOA needs more attention to the grounds and overall ascetic look. We stayed here several times over the last decade and it seems to be falling into decay. The grass needed mowing, and the brush is overgrown along the beautiful creek. In general, the look seems shoddy. Needs to be brought back up to KOA standards.

You need refrigerators in cabins since there's power. Also , I know it gets cold there at night, but you still need coolers or at least fans. All other koa have these.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Kids loved the pool. Great for our overnight stop. Small and quiet campground just what we like. Very clean shower building and well stocked store with free coffee�

Beautiful location but Rv park is run down and covered in weeds. Picnic benches were cracked and old. Pool lounge chairs were old and dirty. Playground was covered in weeds.

Very old and rundown. Needs lots of fixing up- tent sites and all!!! All surrounding area. Pool playgrounds etc.

it was our worse koa. unkept .pool was crowded with kids so we couldn't get in it. we got ants in our shower. big black ants all over the ground where you need to plug in and put water hose. people with DOGS off leash . trash around property and overcrowded campsights with vehicles,tents

We were blessed to stay three nights in site 17 for our 25th wedding anniversary. The views of the farm and the mountains from this site were so tranquil and beautiful. We used the laundry facilities and they were super clean and nice. We really enjoyed seeing so many families camping together and enjoying the outdoors. The sites were easy to navigate with our 40’ fifth wheel trailer.

At one time it may have been nice. We were wondering how KOA still associate the name with this campground. My recommendation is to stay in Hot Springs and not wast $60. Or just stay in a parking lot.

The best part of this KOA is the nature trail which passes along Montpelier Creek. The location is easy in and out. However, this camp doesn’t meet the usual high standards of KOA parks in the way of maintenance. The grass was over a foot high along the roads. I saw at least 3 idle mowers. These also was a lot of litter. The camp offers wifi, but we were unable to connect at our site.

The staff is very friendly & the campground is in a quiet, secluded area making for a peaceful visit. We've stayed here before & was surprised to see that the grounds have been neglected. The grass was overgrown as were weeds throughout the entire area; the campsites, buildings, cabins, walking trail, dog run, etc. We remembered it being a much different looking campground from prior stays.

The picture on the website is deceiving. The grounds are over grown, weeds everywhere. Unkempt sites throughout. Old weathered fooseball table, ping pong tables, kids play area disgusting. Petting zoo, REALLY? Ducks, chickens need to be given to a farm to roam not in a cage. This place is a dump!!!! Rip off!! Never again!!

The best part was the location. No highway with constant traffic which is so common at RV parks. The facilities are clean and acceptable. The dog run was a little small. Overall, would stay again.

Pool wasnt ready for use. Very understaffed. Walking trails were not groomed. No tv stations or cable as suggested. Over all needs alot of work to bring up to par. Website is very deceiving.

The campground was not maintained at all. The owners had broke down cars with busted out windows and a trailer full of junk (rotted out couches, metal debris, etc) parked in direct view of campers. The bathrooms were nice until I got a good look: trash overflowing, toilets/showers unkempt. 1 of 3 shower stalls was clean enough to use. Almost every campsite had overgrown weeds. So much potential

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
