Absolutely stunning area away from the crowds at Bear Lake, but still within reasonable driving distance. The restrooms were very spacious and clean and the grounds were well kept! Would definitely stay again.

Overpriced and disappointing. Weeds and thistle bushes. Kids got in to stinging nettle. Cabin was not overly well taken care of. Door wouldn’t close because of broken board. I understand that stuff happens and it was repaired enough to work. It was not an enjoyable experience especially for a birthday present weekend.

Owner was nice hooked me up with a cabin instead of tent site because he knew it was cold. For a good price. That right there is customer service, clean bathrooms, showers were good. I had a good experience here. Would definitely comeback.

Overall I thought the stay was nice, courteous check-in process and staff. The campground facilities could use some cleaning and repair, bathroom toilets weren’t bolted to the floor and the office was pretty cluttered. The playground for the park was well used and could use some tlc, but so does my home playground.

The owner was very nice but this park and the office is in need of maintenance and clean up to meet KOA standards we have come to expect as we camp with KOA quite often.

I had a really relaxing 2 nights there. Great host and It's right next to a trout stream. If I'm ever in the area again, I world definitely stay here.

We had book two days in Cabin L2, we decided after looking around the campground to stay an extra two days. The cabin was very comfortable, every thing we needed was there. Our cabin was nearby the creek which we could hear as we sat on our porch. The host was a great guy nothing was too much for him. The campsite was very clean, the walk along the creek was easy to walk.

Its one of my favorite KOAs to stay at. I do think it needs some landscaping but just a suggestion not a complaint.

Bathrooms very nice. Laundry ok had many machines out of service. Staff friendly. Park had a creek and path around it that was very nice, but overall the park and sites were "rustic"...dusty and weedy.

Location was beautiful. The campground was a little rundown and needed some TLC. The owners were nice and helpful. The hookups worked well with no issues. Overall nice stay.

Everyone was very nice and the camp site was clean. I will recommend to everyone that’s traveling in the area to stop there for a visit. I will stay at Montpellier creek koa again. Thank you

The campground was a dilapidated dirty patch of ground. The showers and restrooms were dirty with hair all over the place and a man peeped in on my husband while showering! The store was gross and lacking everything except old candy. The host was very nice but looked like he hadn’t bathed in weeks. DON’T STAY HERE! ITS CREEPY!

We really enjoyed our little get-a-way at the Montpelier Creek KOA. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman by the name of Jim. He was most accommodating and made sure we were comfortable with the site he chose for us. Thank you Jim for your kind courtesy.

Campground was very unkept. Dog park was full of weeds, weeds were out of control throughout park. There was an rv right at the entry that had a vacuum, tools and other junk in yard, and they were welding on rv. Would be a great place if it was maintained.

Only two miles from town but feels very remote. Our space was shaded and the campground is quiet and well maintained. The field behind the campground fills with grazing deer every night, we even spotted a badger! The stream that runs on border of campground is crystal clear and I could see the fish swimming, but didn't have an Idaho fishing license or my gear! I'd come here again.

stayed 3 days, nice but the office/store is very dirty needs a good cleaning. Park and camping area was better and the host was very nice.

Jim was very nice. The park grounds need a bit more TLC. Had a spot in the creek, which was nice. But the road was on the other side of the creek-some noise. Bathrooms/showers were very well kept and clean. We were there for just an overnight, which I would do again.

The park was not well maintained as were the services. Laundry was very dirty and 3 out of 6 appliances were not working. By far the worst KOA I have ever stayed at!

It was in very bad shape, there was dead grass and weeds everywhere. It was like staying in a field. The location was great and the creek was nice with a trail around it. We went in to ask a question at one point and the person that checked us in was asleep at the desk, his kid had to wake him up. Don't get me wrong, we LOVE KOA's and use them all the time. We are recent full-timers.

everything you need for a comfortable stay. I’ve read complaints on weeds. Those are yuppy campers. Kids loved the small river that ran through the campground and the outdoor game room.

Is it the largest, most beautiful KOA we've stayed at? No, but the owner gave us a choice of a few different spots, and we were in 28, right next to the creek. Oh, a the owners (husband and wife) are great people.

Old, dirty, run down, trashy, weedy, place. Owner was of no assistance when we learned our exit route the next morning would be closed due to a bicycle race. Not even close to the standards we’ve come to expect from KOA. Hard to believe it is even a part of the KOA organization.

Full hookups were awesome and office staff was friendly. There were a couple walking trails and good little spots for fishing. RV spots seemed spaced out enough. Wifi did not reach the spot our RV was at. All games out back the office were broke down (nails/boards popping up), pieces missing, broke. Would be nice if they updated these and the playground like most other KOA's.

This property is in great need of some TLC. Too many weeds everywhere, the grass needs watering badly, the restrooms are in need of repairs. We have stayed here many times before and it never was in such a poor condition. Check to make sure campsites are cleaned up before renting the spot again, i.e. rubber gloves left on the ground and sewer hoses too, not good.

This KOA needs some love. The facility has so much potential being situated on Montpelier Creek. The overall appearance of the campground is poor. Weeds in place of grass, a dilapidated pizza trailer on site, fences in disrepair, the General Store was a mess. It was a place to stay and that's about all I can say. We will more than likely not be returning.

The pictures of this campground are very inviting. When we arrived, the actual condition of the place was very sad and appeared neglected. It was overgrown with weeds, playground and pool area were not maintained, some wood fencing was falling apart, office / store was very very cluttered and dirty. I had to ask if the pool was going to be cleaned. It was covered with bugs and debris.

We were a little disappointed that our grass pad was dead and full of weeds. The dishwashing station was broken and our spicket was spraying upside down and not very usable without a hose. We enjoyed the pool, access to ice and firewood and the bathrooms. The fishing pond up tbe road was the highlight.

Great camp hosts. They always do everything they can to make your stay wonderful. Camp is tucked away and quite, no freeway noise.

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
