Nice place, great hosts, great kamping kabins along the creek. One of my favorite KOAs that just happens to be located in a place nobody knows about. Montpelier isn’t the most happening place but I love the area. I’ve been there 4 times and will go back again.

The pool was very fun in addition to the great playground area - my grandkids loved every minute of our stay!

We loved it here clean free coffee nice clean bathrooms that were heated. Great cabin. A very neat place to visit oh next to a creek. Nice owners- will definitely stay there again

I don’t think we could have visited on a more gorgeous weekend! The fall colors all around our cabin were beautiful. There were fish in the creek. I would definitely visit again. And very thankful for the heated cabin!

This was the first KOA without longstays. So the first this holiday that really gave me a real holiday feeling. Nice management and placement of the cabins. Very good!

We stayed for seven nights in Kabin 3 and had a wonderful time! Jim and Brenda were so nice and welcoming. My son enjoyed fishing in the creek and the facilities were great. Being by the creek was a real treat. We were with a large group and it was a perfect place where we could all be close to each other yet have our own space as well. I would love to go back. THANK YOU !

This campground could use some updating. The bathrooms were pretty run down. The gal at the front desk was super helpful. I'd recommend checking out the campground to pick out your sight because they have some really great sites available.

The campground is in pretty good condition, and the cabins along the creek side are really nice. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it. The hosts were very friendly. Montpelier isn’t the nicest town we’ve seen though, but Bear Lake is pretty cool.

The hosts were very nice. The campground was well kept. The only thing I noticed that could have changed was the porch lite on our cabin was burnt out and the light inside the cabin also had a burnt out bulb. When we went to clean up at the end of our stay I found several items under the beds there were not ours.

We love staying there. Owners r super super accommodating and friendly. The bathrooms could b cleaned a little more often and the cabins were full of spiders and kinda dirty apon arival tho

We have used this campground for years for our family reunions. The hosts couldn't be nicer, but the campground itself is really getting rundown, weeds everywhere and dead grass. The bathroom/showers are not kept as well as it was in the past. This was our first time back since 2016.

We had a luxury cabin and enjoyed it very much. The pool was nice, but not open in the morning until 11:00 so the children were very disappointed. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. It did need a thorough cleaning though. The campground had a nice stream running through it, but it was still dry and had too many thistles. All in all, it was a great place for our family reunion.

I had never stayed at a KOA and this place exceeded my expectations. The cabin was perfect. Only downside was that there was no AC or Fan in the cabin to make the air circulate.

absolutely love cabin K4, little private sandbar right on the creek, very secluded spot, camp hosts were awesome, accommodation's were fabulous!

Friendly and clean. Hosts were willing to help us and give directions when needed. We really enjoyed staying at this KOA. We have stayed here for several years. It is a good place for families. Swimming was great. The evenings were nice and quiet.

We love the location of this KOA. It is shady and beautiful. It is in need of a little TLC and sprucing up though. The bathrooms often times were out of toilet paper and soap and they desperately needed a deep cleaning. Otherwise, a great experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at this KOA. Very friendly staff and such a peaceful area. We stayed in a cabin that had a stream running through and it made for an amazing experience. Our kids loved it, we loved it and will most certainly return in the future. Thank you so much:)

Owners were very welcoming. The only thing I would say is that the women’s restroom was a little stinky like urine. And showers could have been cleaner but really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property. We had a cabin on the river. The pool is very nice. Clean & functioning washrooms. Immaculate & everything seems very new.

We could only stay one night. They were very helpful with things do while at the cabin, and also in town. The museum was very interesting and worth it. This was all told to us when we checked in, we didn't have to ask, and our questions were answered.

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
