stayed 3 days, nice but the office/store is very dirty needs a good cleaning. Park and camping area was better and the host was very nice.

Jim was very nice. The park grounds need a bit more TLC. Had a spot in the creek, which was nice. But the road was on the other side of the creek-some noise. Bathrooms/showers were very well kept and clean. We were there for just an overnight, which I would do again.

The park was not well maintained as were the services. Laundry was very dirty and 3 out of 6 appliances were not working. By far the worst KOA I have ever stayed at!

It was in very bad shape, there was dead grass and weeds everywhere. It was like staying in a field. The location was great and the creek was nice with a trail around it. We went in to ask a question at one point and the person that checked us in was asleep at the desk, his kid had to wake him up. Don't get me wrong, we LOVE KOA's and use them all the time. We are recent full-timers.

everything you need for a comfortable stay. I’ve read complaints on weeds. Those are yuppy campers. Kids loved the small river that ran through the campground and the outdoor game room.

Is it the largest, most beautiful KOA we've stayed at? No, but the owner gave us a choice of a few different spots, and we were in 28, right next to the creek. Oh, a the owners (husband and wife) are great people.

Old, dirty, run down, trashy, weedy, place. Owner was of no assistance when we learned our exit route the next morning would be closed due to a bicycle race. Not even close to the standards we’ve come to expect from KOA. Hard to believe it is even a part of the KOA organization.

Full hookups were awesome and office staff was friendly. There were a couple walking trails and good little spots for fishing. RV spots seemed spaced out enough. Wifi did not reach the spot our RV was at. All games out back the office were broke down (nails/boards popping up), pieces missing, broke. Would be nice if they updated these and the playground like most other KOA's.

This property is in great need of some TLC. Too many weeds everywhere, the grass needs watering badly, the restrooms are in need of repairs. We have stayed here many times before and it never was in such a poor condition. Check to make sure campsites are cleaned up before renting the spot again, i.e. rubber gloves left on the ground and sewer hoses too, not good.

They were great, very accommodating and helpful. The campsite was clean and it was easy to be comfortable there.

This KOA needs some love. The facility has so much potential being situated on Montpelier Creek. The overall appearance of the campground is poor. Weeds in place of grass, a dilapidated pizza trailer on site, fences in disrepair, the General Store was a mess. It was a place to stay and that's about all I can say. We will more than likely not be returning.

The pictures of this campground are very inviting. When we arrived, the actual condition of the place was very sad and appeared neglected. It was overgrown with weeds, playground and pool area were not maintained, some wood fencing was falling apart, office / store was very very cluttered and dirty. I had to ask if the pool was going to be cleaned. It was covered with bugs and debris.

Great camp hosts. They always do everything they can to make your stay wonderful. Camp is tucked away and quite, no freeway noise.

Convenient location for what we were doing and a pass through. Owner very friendly kind and helpful. Trees are a little over grown in areas where we had to pass by and rubs against RV, Lots of weeds. Pool is not in very good condition.

Pretty tired old KOA; needs trimming and watering. Needs new management to see the possibilities. Daily litter pick-up too.

We were fortunate enough to have best spot in camp ground, we were side ways next to river, very private, If we didn't have that spot would have been gone maybe first day, How this is award winning camp ground is nuts to me. Where there used to be grass at all camp sights are nothing but dried up weeds, the gravel drives are full of weeds, there is no watering happening, Not Koa standards�. Du

We have stayed there twice for a famiy weekend. It is the best place to stay for a beach day at Bear Lake or Montpelier Reservoir. The camp host is great and so helpful. He made sure all 6 trailers were together so we could camp as a family. Definitely will stay here anytime we go to Bear Lake.

Does not meet the koa standard I depend upon. Dirt roads, poor water pressure and over priced. Unlevel gravel with weeds.

Our spot was perfect and private #26. The owners were very accommodating and helped with anything that we needed. We ended up needing propane and some grocery items which we found on site. they have a beautiful walking path on site which makes you feel like your in the woods. The whole area makes you fell like your in the woods but with the advantage of all the hook ups. We'll be back!

We love this little oasis. Its quiet, the owners are the sweetest couple and its down right beautiful. If youre looking for a resort with lush green grass and tons of amenities, this isnt the one for you. But if you want a quiet place to camp, tucked into the little woods next to a creek, come here!

We had a nice camping spot right by the creek, and it looked like the photo on the website. It was nice to listen to the creek at night! The bathrooms were very clean, and there was a nice walking trail. The enclosed dog park could have been a bit cleaner. There were a lot of weeds and overgrown grass, but it still was nice to have that there.

Enjoyed our stay this past weekend. The camp was quiet at night, no loud parties or music. My husband was a little disappointed with the pool as it was too cold to enjoy. All in all, a very nice campground. Will definitely return in the future.

It was pleasant it had low water pressure but it worked was nice to see a pool. There wasn't mush grass just weeds. I would stay there again. The owner was pleasant to be around.

Campground is small but nice with trees and the river. Dog area is ok but would be nicer if not close to the road and if both areas were mowed or trimmed.

The showers really need to be cleaned better. The grass looks like they don't water it at all. If these were addressed, the campground would be amazing.

The location is great with a creek running around the property with a little nature trail next to it. However, the actual campground could use some upkeep, such as the excess weed growth around the pool enclosure and a leaking pool pump (?),

The campground was SO BEAUTIFUL, quiet, great shade trees, staff was very friendly. Upkeep of the campgrounds and the facilities was lacking. Discarded water bottles and trash on the playground for days. Grill was full of ash. Pool wasn't very clean, had a strange smell, and water level was low. Bathrooms and showers need better attention throughout the day. Despite all this we enjoyed our stay.

Our family's stay at Montpelier was great. The facilities were clean and the family that owns it was working hard all day to make sure everyone was happy and had what they needed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, everything just worked which was really nice.

Campsite that we were supposed to have was changed at last minute at check in. The original site was still available. We were squeezed in between two occupied sites. Due to some extenuating circumstances and the Covid-19 situation, it would have been nicer to have more space which getting original site would have allowed. Otherwise, our stay was NICE.

It is tough to give a less than positive response with the effects of COVID being felt by business owners. The campground is in need of maintenance mostly lawn mowing and water. We will be back again.

Quiet and scenic. Could use a bit of landscaping though in the sites. The nature walk along the creek alone is worth the stay, as well as meeting the manager.

It was our first time in a travel trailer in many years and the experience at KOA could not have been nicer.

Picture on website does not represent actual. Campground in serious need of upkeep. Weeds everywhere. Grass completely dry and brown. Campsite not cleaned upon arrival (fire pit and grill full of ash, dog food on grass from previous occupant, bird droppings on electrical box). Wifi very low signal. Swim pool full of leaves, bugs, and a dead mouse. This campground does not meet KOA standards.

It was nice and quiet, however the lack of maintenance was apparent. Weeds were over grown everywhere, broken fences, puddling water and most noticeable the pictures of the sites online were nothing like the actual sites

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
