The grounds were extremely unkept, which actually made it very hard to even figure out where camp sites were. Water pressure was pretty poor and WiFi non existent. I would not stay here again.

One of the quietest KOA's we have stayed at. Creek is pleasant to listen to. Grounds need some pickup and attention. Weeds and branches on most sites. Perfect for a quick stop on a long trip.

Needs a lot of work done with a mower and weed eater, dusty roads, very small for big rigs, no water pressure, filthy laundry room

The check in process was easy. Camp hosts were delightful. It was approaching a holiday weekend and the grass at the camp sites and in the dog run was crazy high! There were weeds along the fence row of the dog run that were taller than the fence. This promotes fleas and ticks! Trees needed sucker branches cut away from their trunks so we could be sure there were no snakes, etc. in our camp site.

The host are great, we plan to come back later this summer. We were traveling with friends who had kids and there was plenty for them to do there. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I think a second bathroom on the far end for the tent area would be a good addition.

We didn't get to stay long enough to really take in all the campground has to offer but the bathrooms and showers were awesome. The staff was very nice.

We had a great time. Playground was great and the older kids games were a nice touch!. Pool was nice and cool a great way to end the day. We had a nice site with trees and a patio. We loved it! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. Park is rustic like we wanted - lots of trees and the river right there. Folks running the place were terrific! Nice facilities.

The people here are always so nice and friendly. The location of the park is terrific. The bathrooms were very clean well cared for. We really enjoyed our stay. The wood fence at our campsite was broken and in need of repair. The pool area looked well cared for but because of the coolness of the weather we did not use the pool. Not a good stay Not sure how this is a KOA! This was one of the worst camp grounds I have been in. The place was over grown with grass trees needed to be cut and the drive in was so tight and the drive in the park trees had over taken. The place was probably nice in the past but not now. I will not return nor recommend it.

Overall it’s a good experience with this camping site, we went middle of June, i didn’t not feel any mosquitos, has shade, clean, pool was outdoors but clean, weather was cooler than warmer but manageable, shop on site had what we wanted, other campers were not too noisy..it’s on the creek but I couldn’t do much fishing, playground for kids,

For $63.00 a night we expected a lot more. No cable, weeds growing in the gravel areas and terrible wifi are not worth that price. We have stayed at G7 RV resorts and only paid $43-46 a night with level spots and great amenities. The Montpelier hosts are very nice but after our experience there and at a KOA in Rock Springs, Wyoming, we will avoid KOA campgrounds in the future. Thank you.

This campground is a nice location for traveling toward Jackson Hole/Yellowstone, however the camp needs maintenance. Grounds are completely overgrown, no rhyme or reason to sites layout, office desk, at check in, is cluttered. But saying this it is a good place for one night stays.

Everyone who ran it were so nice and helpful! The creek was running high when we came and I had kids with me and they went out of there way to move us further from the creek. We will definitely be back.

Staff was friendly, had a nice big dog park for the dogs to run around. Spaces are a little tight as are the roads.

Great location but the grounds are totally unkept. Overgrown to the point you can barely make out campsite numbers. No effort by the staff to make things better at least during our 3 day stay.

It was nice. It's rundown a bit and the grass is rarely mowed but I over looked that this last stay and just enjoyed the peace and quiet the KOA offered. The mountain setting is really a plus as is the creek.

Very disappointed in the lack of maintenance at this place. This being Memorial Day weekend. you would think the place would be spotless! The grass needed to be mowed, it was literally 6 to 8 inches tall around our site!

The couple that runs it was very pleasant and always able to hep. The amenities were great. My kids loved the playground, the fire pit, and the WIFI. lol We enjoyed the area as well. The creek runs right at the top. Thank you!

Have stayed at KOA MONTPELIER probably 50 days within the past 3 years. We appreciate Jim and Brenda's hospitality and effort to make all of our stays a nice experience. I will be returning in 6/2020 on my way through.

We were very satisfied. We are tenters and there were no other tenters there, so it was quiet and private. Bathrooms, pool, laundry area well maintained. Seems like a nice place for RVs as well. This property is off the beaten path, which is what it's value is. It's value is the fact that it is for those looking to get away from suburbia….But with all the amenities for “getting away” comfortably.

Pulled in late and slept in the car so it was short but they had a nice little store, wifi worked, and the bathrooms were clean. The service was great, the nice guy behind the desk walked us around and let us pick out our spot, he also gave information about the surrounding area.
