Moss Landing KOA Express Reviews

Excellent location with great restaurants close by. Sites were concrete, nice and flat, with excellent hookups. We plan to return and go deep sea fishing and whale watching at the docks nextdoor.

This is a smaller KOA with less amenities, but we don’t generally use those anyway. The location is great; walking distance to a nice beach, a good seafood restaurant, and a reasonable driving distance to Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. The sites aren’t huge, but the interior ones are nicely landscaped. We had a site that backed up to a fence, and it was fine.

This is a great park. Clean and well maintained. Check in was quick and we even had help backing in to our spot, nailed it the first time. About a two minute walk to the beach and close to some great food. We will definitely be returning to Moss Landing RV park again.

Small, but adequate. Very clean and well landscaped. Great home base for Monterey and Santa Cruz. Must eat Phil’s!!!!

Very clean, neat and organized. Both the campground and the bath house. The hosts were great and very helpful

Beautiful clean KOA

Great location between Monterey and Santa Cruz. Sites are a little tight hence a 4 instead of a 5. Staff is superb: they help you park. Best Mexican food ever at Whole Enchilada and that's saying something since we live in the San Diego area with lots of Mexican food. Loved the Elkhorn Slough Safari Cruise. We walked to check-in and to the boat. Saw over 80 otters. We will be back.

Great location for food and every day activities

The staff is efficient and friendly. The grounds and sites are pristine. There are many activities and restaurants nearby. The weather usually cooperates. A person can't ask for much more. Excellent facility!

It was nice and clean but the grass for the dogs where we were had more stickers than grass

Liz was wonderful and patient in helping us with our first time camping! The bathroom needed to be cleaned. Maybe clean 2 times per day instead of one. We want to go back asap! Thank you.

Very clean and accommodating. The place didn't have the amenities we would have typically wanted but for the price and location it was great

We just love this KOA. We can walk to the beach, walk to our favorite sea food restaurant. It is quiet. All spots are on cement, fairly level. And, only a one hour drive from our home.

Good but space is very small

Sites very small and tight. We had our truck barely hanging over the curb and had a note on it not to do so. If you want to be close to beach the size of the space may not matter. We found it to be clean but too cramped. Friends said they saw management many times looking for those whose trailers were hanging over the grass a No No!That itself made it uncomfortable. Small trailers are best here.

Park is clean but small sites are very close together. Man helping to guide people in the sites does not have people skills. Was very abrupt. Should stand next to driver for initial back up to get lined up then go to rear of rig for final maneuver. He just went straight to the rear without prior communication..

We stay at the express 4 times a year. And we always have a pleasant experience. Staff is super. Liz is the best. Our last visit we were pleasantly surprised by the opening of the showers. Really appreciated that.
