This KOA really is not set up well for big rigs. Appears run down and lots of lost opportunity there. Office closes early so late afternoon arrivals are on their own. From the online pics I was expecting a view but the campground is surrounded by trees which can be a positive also. I will say that the Wifi is some of the best. This KOA needs some TLC.

Had a wonderful time and evening was very nice and clean and at the top of KOA standards!! The only thing we’d recommend is hanging a sign on the posts of the spaces that are reserved. We showed up at 10pm and another party was in our spot and the place was full. Wasn’t a fun start. Other than that it was GREAT!! Mt Shasta is a fun town to walk around too!!!

Candice and Grace were very hospitable. Also the girl who helped cleaning the restrooms always had a smile on her face. They have made lots of improvements at this campground. I have stayed off and on for six years and will come again.

The park is very pretty. The road in to it is terrible! There is part of the road is barely wide enough for one rig. Who knows what could happen if two big rigs met. Also, our site,#35 was right next to an apartment complex with children being very loud until at least 11:00 pm.

The site we were in was small with all dirt so that's why I'm rating it a 3. Additionally, the fenced pet area was all dirt and not very large. We found used syringes in our site so not sure what that was all about but just wasn't cool. Our site was on the back row and just seemed very cramp back there.

Just an over night stay on a long road trip. The park was very nice but the late night trains were an unpleasant surprise.

Great for an overnight stay. Would definitely stop here again. There are trains that blow their horns at night which I think might bother some, but we didn’t mind it for a one night stay. Other than the trains this KOA was peaceful, quiet and well kept.

Pleasant place but could use some updating. The outdoor area wasn’t as inviting as other parks. Enjoyed the natural setting and trees. Even though many parks have road/train noise, I was hoping this park would be quieter; something that can’t be controlled.

Problem with the booking system. Did not get the site we booked for. Needed a 50 amp site had to take a 30. Rv now needs a new motherboard in it's power system. Will not book through website again. I will take the time to call. Very disappointed.

Beautiful and convenient location, simple self-check-in process. I was never told exactly why the rate outside for $42.23/night was not the rate I was charged, though. I didn't have any hookups/amenities and if it was the spot I picked then there was too much going on and I didn't see the system correctly. Great staff. thank you Grace, for fixing a no-move itinerary! I hope to return many times!

When we arrived they were trying to close at 3:30 on a Saturday . The site we reserved on line was occupied. Management said that the way do things. They told me to move to another site next to ours. We paid for full hookups but weren't sure if sewer hookup worked as staff were gone. Refund?. Bathroom was old and couldn't tell if it had been cleaned. Missing light fixture. More but...

Facilities and people were very nice. The problem is the location is close enough to the train tracks to make it pretty loud. Several trains running all through the night made it difficult to sleep. We were tent camping maybe an RV would be quieter.

Clean and well-maintained. The nighttime train sounds could be an issue for some people I suppose. Lots of tent sites, most going unused; I think that a small RV could have parked comfortably in most of them.

Very disappointed. We expected to have cable at our site,79. Cable was missing connectors. My wife was told, people keep pulling out with out disconnecting. That was not our problem. We paid for cable. She was told to forget it and have a glass of wine. That is not an acceptable response. There were cigarette butts all over our site. We won';t be back.

Scenic area. But, my site (31) was extremely narrow, trees close in on both sides. Had to maneuver very carefully getting into, and out of, the site. Also, site not anywhere near level, so was not able to use stabilizers. I won't be staying here again.

Did not provide a site that met my stated needs, not even close. I was told computer selects sites. Will not stay here again, even after several past stays in this campground.

Place pretty, clean. Liked the trees at each site, bathrooms clean. But, 1ce 4pm & store closed, could not get anyone to answer door, phone. Other campers frustrated by this. Only portable fire pits, ok, but after 4pm, could not get one. Store/Office 8am-4pm only.

Very pleasant place and food location. We had trouble with electricity when we first arrived. It was after hours and no maintenance number to call. Never got the cable TV working. Overall, a nice place for a stopover when traveling. We’ll be back.

Pretty primitive. Lots of cedar trees around. Camp site was dirt and gravel. Lots of dirt areas. Dog area was pretty small and dirt all around it on the outside. Was ok just for a night. Went to town, lots of nice restaurants, pretty yuppy though but a nice town and very close.

Good place. Conveniently located close to town. Crowded with trailers though. Not enough nature to provide privacy. We were in a Kabin.

Park was clean and well-maintained. Sites could use more grass and shade. Office hours could be extended. Overall staff was helpful and nice. Beautiful location

We overnighted on our way from Phoenix to Cougar WA. Even with lots of trees, this park was easy for a big rig to navigate. We just took it slow! The premium sites are wide and long. We have. 41’ fifth wheel towed by a dually log bed truck and we’re able to stay connected overnight for a faster departure the next morning. The site was. Or level front to back. We made it work.

Loved the park and our site. Only complaint is the train sounding like is was right next to our campsite and blowing its horn during the middle of the night. This happed 3 times! I know you can’t do anything about that.

Small park but very friendly staff. Our 63 foot fifth wheel and truck had no problems. The ground was very wet from storms so we had to take care on corners. The view was unbelievable!! We will be back.

This was a great place to park our road home for three nights. Access to area sites and on the edge of town made it even better. Great staff.
