This is the first KOA we have stayed at where the office was closed all day. We have full timed for 2 years. We arrived at 12:30 PM and no one answered the phone and the door was locked. We finally found our site assignment in the late arrival area! The site was fine, very unlevel, our nose was almost touching the ground. It’s a good location for Lava Beds & Lake Siskiyou.

Great park. We stayed during the off season in mid-April. The park was quiet and clean in a wonderful setting.

My stay was good. I forgot my sleeping bag. The hostess offered me a quilt. I should have accepted it. Silly me. The trains were loud. I'm a lite sleeper.

I love the Mount Shasta KOA and stay here whenever I’m passing through. Staff is kind, friendly and accommodating. Facilities are always super clean. Nothing beats a hot shower in the clean, heated and well-lit restroom after a long drive. Definitely recommend to others and I plan to return and bring friends for a longer camping trip to check out some local hiking. Thank you Mount Shasta KOA!!

The only fault I could give this campground is that they did not have a handicapped toilet or shower. I understand that few people travel with a handicapped person but those of us who do appreciate the convenience of these amenities. The staff we wonderful and the grounds were beautiful.

The only thing I didn't like was the "late" check in (we arrived at 6 but no one was there) where I had to "guess" at the cost of my pre-booked site. I figured YOU would have had that already filled out for me to confirm FOR me what I was paying. The site costs were unclear as listed. Other than that, it was a lovely place... very quiet and beautiful.

The campground was dirty and not very well kept. Dog park had alot of poop that was not cleaned up. Plus the price was high for a one night stay. We stayed at a KOA in Medford that was $40 compared to $55 for one night. And the one in Medford was super clean and well kept. Would not recommend this one.

lovely park, great sites, feels like you are in the woods. Only issue was not great WiFi. We had a nice 1 night stay.

Beautiful area and clean bathrooms are the only positive things I can say. The powdery dirt making up the whole ground area is terrible, had to wear a mask to keep it out of our noses. Train whistles start at 3:30am. The dog area was made up of the powdery dirt and had so much poop in it, disgusting. No cable, wifi was so low sometimes undetectable. This place is on our “never again” list.

Second time we have stopped and stayed there. Always friendly and welcoming and helpful. Could use some upgrades but certainly worth staying at. Close to all needs etc.

Appreciated the blankets and pillows in the cabins. They weren't there when we last visited in February 2020, the small heater doesn't produce enough heat for both rooms, so the blankets helped in everyone staying warm.

Very poorly maintained 50 amp power outlet was upside-down in our site maintenance man refused to repair it, ask to move to site ext to me was told sites were booked no one ever checked into the site next to us. The water was turn off no notication from maintenance man who walked past our RV multiple times prior to water shut off.

We arrived late, so it was nice to have info and code at check-in stand. Very peaceful stay.

Easy late check in. Pulled into our spot with no issues Help with reservation change was fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again when I travel through the area.

Great place to stop over on our trip up I-5! The kids enjoyed the playground and the campground was very well kept and quiet!

Grounds and facilities are clean and in good repair. Late check in was a tad confusing. The cabins were cozy and comfortable, picnic tables large to accommodate lots of people. Close to main part of town.

They don't have cable tv as advertised, spent 1 hour of my life trying different coax cables. Went to office at 8am to let them know I had no cable, but forgot my face mask and return 3 mins later to find sign on door " be back at 9am". Very dusty conditions. Won't go back

Cabin was super clean and comfortable with exception of the beds. Bunk bed mattress in our cabin was lumpy and hard on the back and full size bed was bowed in middle and squeaked loudly with every move. Staff was great, campground was very well maintained and offered fun things to do on site. Definitely recommend over all.

Advertised cable tv, had none. Owner claimed he’d asked home office to remove cable from ads but they hadn’t yet. Hmmmm. The WiFi was extremely weak (only at 1/2 capacity) and almost unusable too. Orderly grounds, clean bathrooms. Had asked for fire pit, owner blew off until day 2 of 2. View of Mt Shasta was good but the premium of $52/night not justified with these shortcomings.

The campground was nice and clean but spot # 1 SUCKS when you have 3 dogs and they put us right next to the only bathrooms there and were not will to relocate us and the site didn't have the extras that were advertised like grill fire pit or chairs and again the lady there was not will to help only adding that if I need a bbq they sell them . Paid for a premium site but feeling ripped off.

Small park but very friendly staff. Our 63 foot fifth wheel and truck had no problems. The ground was very wet from storms so we had to take care on corners. The view was unbelievable!! We will be back.

This was a great place to park our road home for three nights. Access to area sites and on the edge of town made it even better. Great staff.
