This campground was amazing. The owner and workers took pride in their campground and it showed. They were friendly and more than willing to help in any way they could. It was a great place to stay!

My husband and I stayed a full week. The park staff are amazing!! The owner, Matt, takes great pride in keeping the park pristine, and Kat and Jen serve their guests like none other. The park is small, friendly, and beautiful! The location is perfect for exploring the Smokey Mts and all the National Parks of the area. We highly recommend you stay here! We will return!

Still our favorite. Now that we’ve become full timers we’ve selected Murphy / Peace Valley as our base from which we travel in different directions. The grounds are extremely well maintained plus Matt and his crew are phenomenal. Book early as this KOA can fill up quickly.

Matt and Jenny are super personnel — they changed my reservation to a space on the river. It made all the difference.. Excellent customer service!!!

Beautiful location in the mountains, on a river. Park is clean, and amenities and very well cared for. Staff is friendly, and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back! It is peaceful!

We were in the Murphy area to visit friends. The staff was very helpful with information about what to see and do. The campground was well maintained and I would recommend it.

This is a very clean and neat campground. The owner is out every day racking and cleaning up. Very helpful in getting in and out of campsite. Campsite was quite. There is a highway near but the traffic noise wasn’t bad. We will stay here again if in area.

Great place to stay. Staff is friendly and it’s very clean. Internet was spotty and the cable was worse but who goes camping to spend time watching tv?! Will definitely go again

This may not be the most luxurious KOA that we've stayed at but it has got to be the cleanest and most well-maintained. If there were any complaints, it would be the wifi (but that seems to be the norm among most campgrounds we have stayed at). The staff here are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a good, clean place to use as base.

We stay every year over Memorial Day weekend for our family reunion in North Carolina and it's been a treat every time. The cabins are comfortable and clean, and the campground is always beautiful and pleasant. We love it, and have already reserved again for next year! The staff are pleasant and honest, and we've never had a bad experience.

We have camped at Peace Valley every Memorial Day weekend for 25 years. The staff is fantastic, friendly and the facilities are always well kept and clean. It is so highly recommendable, we have hosted our family reunions there for the last 18 years. The ONLY complaint that we ever have is that the WiFi service could be better, but that is the smallest inconvenience when camping.

Great location. The staff is very friendly. Up keep of the camp ground is excellent. The sites are a little small. It is a older KOA, but Matt and his crew has upgraded the campground. River side campsite backup right to the river. Lots of shade from the sun. We will be back. We recommend a stay here.

We so enjoyed our weekend! Our site was right on the river and may be my favorite campsite we've ever had! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the area is just beautiful! We will for sure be back!

The entire staff is very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. The campground is truly peaceful and the river front sites are fantastic. The best WiFi and cable we’ve experienced so far in 12 campgrounds in 7 states, including a brand new high end (expensive) campground the prior week. This was our second stay here since October. Thank you Matt, Jenni, and Kat! We will be back!

Our only problem was you need a better sign, especially at night! We missed the campground and ended up 5 miles beyond!

We'd love to have a bigger sign. For now, we are at the mercy of the county. For those reading this response... slow way down when your GPS says one mile.

We have been coming here for a few years. Matt the owner truly cares about his campground and it's evident in the amenities and the changes he makes from one visit to the next. Well the setting and ambiance are breathtaking and I can truly come here to relax and decompress.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. We had a spot right on the river which was absolutely gorgeous. Matt & Jenni were wonderful hosts and super friendly. Matt was constantly working picking up garbage, delivering propane tanks and firewood and taking care of the grounds. Campground is well taken care of; clean and beautiful. One of the best things about this campground to us was that their doggie area was over an acre of land. Most campgrounds either have a tiny little run or nothing at all. This was a huge fenced in piece of land where our dogs could run off leash and play. We stayed there during Thanksgiving. Matt & Jenni hosted Thanksgiving dinner for all the campers staying there during the holiday. They provided the turkeys, stuffing, gravy, sweet tea and paper products. Everyone who attended brought a dish to share. I made sweet potato casserole. It was such a wonderful time and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great folks running the place. Patience, seemed to be their awesomeness! Pretty nice to great campsites. Nice set ups for power, water and cable. Looking forward to a trip back there.
