It is a really nice KOA. They keep the park clean and our camper backed right up to the Valley River. So nice and relaxing to be able to look out the back window and see the water right behind us. Will definitely stay there again!

nice playground, pool and grounds well kept with scenic sites along the river. shady spots as well. Cabins for those without RV or tent. they think of everything.

Perfect location and looks good for campers and RVs. But not good for cabins. Old bedding. Long hairs on kitchen towels and in cabinets. No sheets for either futons. Filthy upstairs futon. Shades falling off windows and don't work correct and very dirty, don't keep light out. Absolutely filthy screens in bedroom. Very loud people in #2, 3. Uncomfortable beds, filthy old pillows.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our 2 day stay! The staff were so very friendly and helpful. The campground was beautifully maintained and had great amenities. We will definitely refer this KOA to all our friends and will be staying here again in the future!

We have already reserved additional stays at this KOA. Very clean, extremely friendly staff and Owner and nice sites. We have recommended this KOA to other Friends and Family that RV camp. First impression was clean and spacious sites. Then Matt escorted us to our site and assisted us backing into the site allowing room for our slide out and canopy. Great Place!!

What a great campground in the heart of everything. We had never stayed at this koa and were impressed with everything about it. The pool was great, the game room was fun for the kids, the bathhouse was neat and clean.. and our site 37 was a great size for our 30ft motorhome. Listening to the brook directly behind us was so relaxing. We will definately be back.

Excellent campground. Well maintained. Got a beautiful spot next to river saw some big fish in the super clear water. Not far from Murphy lots of stuff to do.

Love this KOA Matt keep it looking great and the river is sooo nice we’ve stayed here many times over the past 5 or more years and every time it just gets better. So if your going to visit Murphy or Nantahala rafting this is the KOA for you and don’t forget your kids they will love it too!

Great campground with an awesome staff. Very clean and big lots. Close to Groceries and restaurants. Just be prepared for the very tight turn at the entrance. We will definitely return.

This is the best pace to stay! We come here quite often and the owner, Matt, and Selene, that works in the store are just the two greatest people. This place is so clean. Matt is always doing something on the grounds. Our little dog loves it here also. Our grandchildren has reservations for Sept. We have already for next year plus more this year for this Campground. GREAT PLACE!!!!

Campground was well kept and ( for the most part) very clean. Would have liked to see more items in the store. Several guests walking their pets were not cleaning up after them and were walking their pets through the sites allowing the pets to urinate and deficate around the sites.

I made my reservation 10 months early for 23 day stay. The site we had had no grass, or gravel. The table was not in the best shape. We have a double slide out and an awning the only way we could open up all 3 was if we put out 30 feet of drain hose. The woman that ran the office was not very friendly. We were not satisfied as long time members we expected better.

It was our first RV trip in a very long time. We reserved site 32 on the river. It couldn’t have been more perfect! The campground is clean. Our pups loved the dog park too.The staff was super friendly. They showed us to our sight, and were willing to help us back into it. The office manager came to check on us to see how our first RV trip went prior to check out. Exceptional!

We stayed in Cabin L2. Very old. Central AC was broken and the window they replaced it with was not adequate for the entire unit. Bottom of the oven was rusted/burned out. Gas grill was so filthy we couldn't cook on it. Linens were old. The futon in the den area was unusable to sit on. "Walk" from parking area to door was mud. No gravel. I expect better from KOA.

Internet was not the best when trying to connect to vpn. Cable was not good at all,the park was clean. 30 amp power kept throwing breaker had to switch to 50 amp, I reported this stuff But never got a reply from anyone. I

Beautiful, relaxing, Matt was the best, he needs to take a break. One of the best KOA campgrounds we have been to, definitely coming back to this one!

We had a nice site on the creek. It was without sewer hookup so I needed to use the dump station when I left. Unfortunately someone had tightly cross threaded the cap on the dump tank. Too early to get help from anyone so I drove home with a full black tank.

It was awesome Matt and his crew are the best . The campgrounds are clean and peaceful.There is so much to do in the area.We don't usually give reviews unless we are totally satisfied ,so That should tell you something about this campground.we will stay there again . Very quite and peaceful. The staff was very helpful with parking our camper and getting a fire going, when it looked like I was smoking up the whole campground.

We were in cabin 4,it was adequate but not exactly comfortable. Porch screen and door were gone, wood table hard to sit at. Bed in loft only good for kids since adults would hit their head on the ceiling when sitting! Campground was very clean & well maintained. Dog park was nice. Employees very helpful. We would return.

Awesome campground! Was quiet and calm even though there were a lot of campers in the park. Plenty of activities to keep children occupied and access to the river was a great bonus.

The management were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were very neat and well maintained. My only problem, and it's not just this place, but all KOAs is the sites are to close together. However our stay at Murphy was a 10 and will be back again.

We had a great time at the Murphy/Peace Valley KOA! The river is beautiful and the staff is AMAZING.

We have been coming here for a few years. Matt the owner truly cares about his campground and it's evident in the amenities and the changes he makes from one visit to the next. Well the setting and ambiance are breathtaking and I can truly come here to relax and decompress.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. We had a spot right on the river which was absolutely gorgeous. Matt & Jenni were wonderful hosts and super friendly. Matt was constantly working picking up garbage, delivering propane tanks and firewood and taking care of the grounds. Campground is well taken care of; clean and beautiful. One of the best things about this campground to us was that their doggie area was over an acre of land. Most campgrounds either have a tiny little run or nothing at all. This was a huge fenced in piece of land where our dogs could run off leash and play. We stayed there during Thanksgiving. Matt & Jenni hosted Thanksgiving dinner for all the campers staying there during the holiday. They provided the turkeys, stuffing, gravy, sweet tea and paper products. Everyone who attended brought a dish to share. I made sweet potato casserole. It was such a wonderful time and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great folks running the place. Patience, seemed to be their awesomeness! Pretty nice to great campsites. Nice set ups for power, water and cable. Looking forward to a trip back there.
