Really beautiful wooded campground on the Valley River, love the HUGE grassy dog play area! So nicely kept and super friendly staff! Great location, Walmart and ingles right down the road.

This campground is very beautiful. Several of the campsites sit right on the river. It is also a great place to trout fish. The playground is in the center of the campground and can be seen from many of the campsites. The fenced in dog park is very spacious for your fur babies to run and play. Will definitely be going back.

The grounds were very well maintained and everything in our cabin was clean and in working order. The campground is in a great location and convenient to local restaurants and activities. The river is great for fishing and swimming and the campground is very peaceful at night. Matt and his staff do a great job looking after their guests and I highly recommend this KOA.

Enjoyed the many trees and lots of grass... Campground was very clean, grass mowed. Interior roads are easily accessible. Not a huge park, which is a plus for us. Very friendly atmosphere. Dog park was a nice bonus. Didn't use pool but looked very inviting. Close to town to find anything you need, but still has a rural, relaxed feeling. Very nice campground, would return.

This is a wonderful little park. It is very quaint, but the spaces aren't tight, so you have some privacy. We were there for almost a week and will definitely go back!

Very clean nice and very quiet. Only negative is that the bathroom showers and stalls are very small. Well run. Will definitely stay again.

Sixth time at this location. Always clean and well maintained. The owner is on premises and involved every day. Staff always smiling and help full. Every one working there really seems to enjoy being there.

Well maintained. Nice and quiet. Plenty of space between camper sites. It’s an established campground with large trees for shade. The river is close by and great to tube on and fish in. The staff was friendly. The restrooms were clean. We will be staying there again in the future.

Very clean small campground well maintained had a very nice stay except when family members that were staying near by came by to eat breakfast with us before returning home, they hadn't been there 5 min. when a staff members came by and told them they had to leave because they were not a registered guest, but later that day other campers had guest and were not told to leave . This was wrong !!

Great place to stay. Camp host is very nice and helpful. Absolutely the most beautiful spot with a peaceful creek and view of the mountains.

I really appreciated the very clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Everyone was friendly and quiet hours were well respected. We will definitely be back! My only suggestion would be letting folks know about the shuttle service that is available. We drove a motor home and my husband had to walk to Walmart and back (in the rain) before he found out about that service. Thanks!

We rented a deluxe cabin. The "loft" is unusable unless you have children. The stairs are steep and the bed is on a wooden frame; I would have only been able to go up to sleep in the loft if the mattress was placed directly on the loft floor. The futon was okay to sit on, but the rigid frames and the soft stuffing made it almost impossible to sleep on. The cabin had not been maintained well.

We checked in at 12:00PM. The campground host( didn't get her name) made sure that we understood we were not supposed to come in until 2PM, she talked to us as if we were children not paying customers. That pretty much soured the stay. The hospitality business needs people who are hospitable.

We were supposed to stay on friend's property but couldn't make it up the driveway. So grateful KOA had a spot! Also hot showers, cold refreshing pool, and even a water view! Clean and quiet and friendly people. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights in L2. The cabin was plenty of room for our family of 4 and our dog. There is a beautiful view from the screened back porch and it truly is a few steps to the river. The kids enjoyed tubing down the creek and then walking back to the top and doing it again. All necessary cooking utensils are provided and there is laundry as well. Staff was friendly and very helpful!

Great stay, but at times there was an awful smell of either a cow pasture or chicken houses. Other than that, the staff was very nice and helpful and the campground was clean and in a good location.

We have been coming here for a few years. Matt the owner truly cares about his campground and it's evident in the amenities and the changes he makes from one visit to the next. Well the setting and ambiance are breathtaking and I can truly come here to relax and decompress.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. We had a spot right on the river which was absolutely gorgeous. Matt & Jenni were wonderful hosts and super friendly. Matt was constantly working picking up garbage, delivering propane tanks and firewood and taking care of the grounds. Campground is well taken care of; clean and beautiful. One of the best things about this campground to us was that their doggie area was over an acre of land. Most campgrounds either have a tiny little run or nothing at all. This was a huge fenced in piece of land where our dogs could run off leash and play. We stayed there during Thanksgiving. Matt & Jenni hosted Thanksgiving dinner for all the campers staying there during the holiday. They provided the turkeys, stuffing, gravy, sweet tea and paper products. Everyone who attended brought a dish to share. I made sweet potato casserole. It was such a wonderful time and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great folks running the place. Patience, seemed to be their awesomeness! Pretty nice to great campsites. Nice set ups for power, water and cable. Looking forward to a trip back there.
