Easy to get in and easy to get out of due to being right on highway, but no real highway noise, very friendly staff, pretty good sites, wi-fi sketchy.Very well maintained. Did not understand the overflow parking...if you have a friend visit they have to park in overflow parking because we don't allow two vehicles on one site even though there is room and they were only coming to visit..not stay.

Matt and his team at Murphy/Peace Valley are the best! They work extremely hard to be accommodating and make your stay the best it can be! Super Friendly and helpful!

Love it there! Matt, Jenni, and Kathleen are just wonderful and kind. The whole place is Superb! Anything you would want to do is nearby. Rafting, hiking, tubing, train rides, sightseeing. All within minutes to get there to do! Absolutely love it there!

First time in our new RV and we loved it! Stayed right next to Kathy, the host, and she was super nice (gave us a tomato from her vine and salt/pepper for it!) Matt was super nice and helpful as well. We will definitely stay at KOA campgrounds again. So many nice people, clean restrooms and great dog park!

THE PLACE IS REAL NICE AND WE LIKED IT. HOWEVER- WE CAMPED AT SITE 37,BUT WAS TOLD SITE 33 then 34,then 35 then 36.My daughter requested site 32 -etc ended up on 34 so we wern't next to her. She made reservations in NOV. 2020. -Me in JAN 2021. ALSO - THE ROAD PULLING INTO THE CAMPGROUND IS NO.ONE LANE. IF ANOTHER CAMPER IS COMINGAT YOU SOMEONE HAS TO : GO BACK/ PULLONTO GRASS OR ? NEEDS WIDER ROAD

We are so very sorry about the site mix-up. We now have a way to lock requested sites so this does not occur in the future. The road is not an issue if campers check in after 2 and out before 11am. Every confirmation email has this information.

Enjoyed our stay! Our dogs loved the large grassy dog area and refreshing swim in the creek. When park was full on weekend there were issues with electric hook-up stopping....however this issue went away on Sunday as campers left. Will definitely return!

We tubed the river, swam in the pool and played board games in the game room. Charming place that reminds me of places we camped as kids. Great place and super friendly folks. We will definitely be back.

This KOA'is a hidden gem. The owners are some of the friendliest people and Matt is doing a absolute wonderful job constantly upgrading the campground. This will always be a KOA to return to.

I have been to alot of KOA campgrounds over the years, and I must say this one is by far the BEST. Let's just start with the owners. Jenni and Matt are so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay, and my partner's Birthday special. Kat their camp host was amazing, too. The campground and facilities are immaculate. I already booked for next year for my partners 50th Birthday

Campsite was smaller than expected. Rotted wood around gravel deck area is by far a trip hazard and extremely dangerous. Dog barking was a very annoying nuisance to say the very least. I think everyone except us had a dog and most had two or more. Campground was clean and the staff were very friendly. If you don’t mind all the dogs a very good place to stay.

This is the most well maintained KOA of the 6 that we visited on this trip. Very convenient location in town and a great place for us to stop for the night. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely spot. Quiet and family oriented. Very clean. Personnel very friendly and helpful. The only thing that needs changing are the bathrooms. My friends and I are all seniors and safety’s first. Showers need wall bars and toilets need more depth.

This was our first time at the Murphy/Peace Valley KOA, it is now one of our favorite campgrounds. The place is very clean and nice and the staff are all friendly and helpful. We (and our dog) loved the huge fenced in dog park! We had a very relaxing and fun visit and we are definitely planning on going back!

This is our favorite getaway. Smaller and so peaceful. My girlfriend and I enjoy watching the fireflies at night. Unfortunately my husband is handicapped and the restrooms are not ADA/handicap accessible so our vacation with the husbands is elsewhere but anytime we leave them home this is where we come to just hang and relax. Close to both the Nantahala & Ocoee so we enjoyed watching them.

Stayed for a week and enjoyed it despite the rain all week. Staff is super friendly and helpful, campgrounds very clean and well maintained, very quiet and peaceful and the large dog park was a plus for us. Very nice KOA!

Excellent campground. The hosts are friendly and phenomenal. We had to stay an extra day. They stepped it up and accommodated us with a smile.

Despite the rainy weather we had a great time! Hosts were on top of everything, hook ups were some of the best we’ve had. Definitely go for the back in river front if you have a rig that will fit. We will be back!

We have been coming here for a few years. Matt the owner truly cares about his campground and it's evident in the amenities and the changes he makes from one visit to the next. Well the setting and ambiance are breathtaking and I can truly come here to relax and decompress.

One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at. We had a spot right on the river which was absolutely gorgeous. Matt & Jenni were wonderful hosts and super friendly. Matt was constantly working picking up garbage, delivering propane tanks and firewood and taking care of the grounds. Campground is well taken care of; clean and beautiful. One of the best things about this campground to us was that their doggie area was over an acre of land. Most campgrounds either have a tiny little run or nothing at all. This was a huge fenced in piece of land where our dogs could run off leash and play. We stayed there during Thanksgiving. Matt & Jenni hosted Thanksgiving dinner for all the campers staying there during the holiday. They provided the turkeys, stuffing, gravy, sweet tea and paper products. Everyone who attended brought a dish to share. I made sweet potato casserole. It was such a wonderful time and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great folks running the place. Patience, seemed to be their awesomeness! Pretty nice to great campsites. Nice set ups for power, water and cable. Looking forward to a trip back there.
