Very nice, quiet and clean. Everything we needed. But the staff, absolutely the nicest people we have met at any camp grounds anywhere. Willing to help in anyway. We will stop again when we are coming through. Thank you for the hospitality. This KOA is a hidden gem.

It was great. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. We were just stopping overnight (traveling from Charleston to Asheville). The Newberry KOA was a great stop and just far enough from I-26 that there was no traffic noise. Birds everywhere: first hummers of the season. A lot of nice improvements are underway but non of it inconvenienced us.

Very nice campground. New owners are wonderful. Very well kept and maintained. Beautiful grounds. Nice long level sites with plenty of room. Clean stocked store. Very friendly. Felt like home. Will be back for sure.

Some of the nicest folks you will ever meet. The have done a phenomenal job since taking over this campground and are constantly making more improvements. You could not ask for a cleaner bathhouse. Keep up the great work guys!

My stay was great but people in site next to ours had aggressive dogs and if they got loose could have harmed or killed my small dog. Loved the upgrades and staff great people.

The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The grounds were spotless and there are many improvements in the works. It’s a great stopover spot, but is pretty far from any tourist spots. Loved the trip into Greenville, but it was an hour away.

We have stayed overnight here many times. The new owners are doing a very good job of selling themselves. Our phone reservation was quick & easy. We received a nice greeting upon arrival. Check in was quick & easy. There have been several changes & upgrades made to the park since our last visit. We would certainly recommend this park to anyone, & we will return in the future.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location great with asy access from 26. New owners making many improvements. Hookups good but location makes it hard for them to ensure level pads but it did not cause us any problem.

Our stay at Newberry was totally awesome. You won’t find a better kept, cleaner campground anywhere. The staff goes out of their way to help you with anything you need. And everyone of them are so friendly you’ll feel like you’re at home visiting your best friends. Will definitely return.

We just spent the night but staff was excellent and the grounds were well kept. Bathroom and shower area very well maintained and very clean. We will go back in the future and stay longer.

We did a one night stay with our class A towing a vehicle. We love KOAs for these one-night stops because they have large pull-through sites that do not require us to unhitch our car for one night. The staff was welcoming and very helpful to get us parked. The campground has a lot under construction but is very nice. Love the magnolia trees. Wish we had seen them bloom.

We've stayed at this campground under the former owners and it was just ok to stay 1 night. The new owners have improved it 300% since taking over. It's now a favorite campground and we can see more changes coming. We'll be back

This KOA is what I expect a KOA to be like. Small, friendly, clean, and convenient. Everyone was super helpful and nice, especially Becci and her Mom. I wish all KOA’s were like this one.

Just passing through on our vacation. Mainly stayed inside as the weather was cold. Watched through the windows and many campers arrived after the office was closed. The owners and another gentleman came out to answer questions and then assisted those who needed help to their campsites. The worker helped split a few pieces of wood to help a latecomer start his campfire. Very friendly/helpful.

The campground hosts/owners were efficient and eager to assist in any way they could. The campground was undergoing lots of improvements, and the sites were nice. The campground is conveniently close to I 26, yet buffered by trees and enough space that you can’t hear traffic noise

I don’t know where to begin... this KOA was our first KOA experience. If any others are half as nice as this one... well let’s just say I won’t complain much. The staff was professional, extremely helpful and polite. They do a fantastic job of upkeep and continuous improvements. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Great staff, and we had a terrific time. Gnome hunt was a blast as were the jumbo checkers. Our daughter enjoyed the tree swing and searching for painted rocks that so many wonderful RV’ers leave around. Will visit again once the pool is open.

Such a handy location. The improvements being made here will reap dividends. It is obvious that the owners and workers really care about the campground. It spite of being on the fringe of broadcast TV reception, it is not detrimental to the others aspects of a stay here.

We stayed at Newberry KOA on our way down to Mrytle Beach and on our way back home. The staff was VERY accommodating on both our visits to their campground. The only thing I would suggest is that the sites like space #43 that we were put in on our return stay is that the trees need to be trimmed back to accommodate the height of larger RV's.

Everything was very clean and staff was very friendly; however, we did feel that the office staff should wear masks inside out of an abundance of caution since COVID and variants are still not contained (the staff wore masks inside and often outside at every other campground we went to in SC).

The owners are extremely friendly, especially after spending a long day on the road traveling! Additionally, a lot of money and effort has gone into updating this campground and making it beautiful!

We were put up the front area by office which they had lit up like a runway couldn’t hang outside because the light was so bright in our face along with the light pole right next to the office. There was Yes black Dooley diesel truck making noise all times at night early in the morning I guess they stay there permanently but they drove that truck out all night long back-and-forth revving the mot

New owners. New KOA franchise. Being a franchizee give the owners standardized signage and proven equipment and advice. This really helps. The campground is sparkling clean and orderly. Fire rings are still allowed in South Carolina. The fire rings are surrounded by a block ring with a steel fire ring bowl fitted inside. Looks good and no chance of inadvertent spillover of embers. Pool and recreation area are nice. We drive a 35' triple slide class A. We followed their golf cart into a pull through. Well done. I reccomend this site for a nice, peaceful respite if traveling on I-26.

Wonderful campground. Highly recommend staying there. The park is VERY well maintained. The owners are making improvements/upgrades (adding more gravel, mulching, defining spaces). The dog park is great and the new bench is fantastic! Very friendly people. Quiet park. Our site was gravel and level. Nice grassy, spacious area for sitting. Did not feel crowded.
