Loved all the activities, store and pancakes. All the workers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Quite hours could have been enforced better and the water situation was a little inconvenient but overall a great place for families!

we had a great time! there was a few issues that could be improved. pool was green and cloudy no staff member at bounce pillow that we could see, no adult supervisor at snack shake to help the young girls there and we lost water pressure one night then lost it all together on the day of our departure. other wise very clean campground

Low water pressure a number of times during our stay. The campground is over grown. Trying to get around the roads and site without scratching your trailer in difficult. Would love to see a major tree trimming in the roads and sites talk place. Staff was very friendly. Call me if you would like to discuss.

This was our 2nd visit to this campground. We love the wooded sites & there is plenty for the kids to do. We enjoyed our 4th of July holiday weekend stay!

It’s unfortunate that it rained on me a ride Friday our group had four cabins which we were assured would be next to each other and they were not so our camp had to be divided into two groups which was not easy considering they were children I told everybody about the pool and the activities and we feel the pool even though it wasn’t anyone’s fault it should have been fixed as well as was gr

Checked in for July 4th weekend on Friday and got POURED on, so I guess all of the worms that I woke to shouldn’t be a surprise but it still sucked. Staff was the nicest, wine shop was a great touch, as were free pancakes. Pool was green and we were told that was from rainwater, and showers were pretty awful but for the price I paid, I had a good stay.

My family and I enjoyed out time. it was very well kept and clean. The only thing is the music. I understand there is a quite time (10) however, on Sunday early afternoon we were asked to turn down our music at 1pm. Now i respect my fellow campers but if they (staff) are going to pick and choose who can play music it very unfair. the staff was very loud approaching me which is very unacceptable.

I have no idea what happened from last year to this year but the staff are not friendly (except 1 or 2), the bathrooms & showers are NOT kept clean & I even witness a "cleaning" of a kabin where it was only swept out. Mine had previous guest masks, a ring and change on the shelf when I arrived. One would think after Covid - cleaning would become #1. I will be back but unsure of inviting friends.

Rowdy adults using foul language at the pool around kids. It felt like there was a permanent stench of marijuana.

Not worth the premium money we spent to stay there this past weekend. The water to all washrooms was shut off Monday AM and all toilets will filled with poop. The swimming pool has green water. The water at the campsite was also green - and there were no indicators if the water was ok to drink. The fireworks ban was not enforced so there were fireworks till 11PM. Campground run down.

There was very low water pressure on our site on two of the mornings we were there. We were not told there was no cable on our site and after inquiring about the cable we’re told that the entire area needed a new master cable run. We were charged a pet fee that had not been told about. Adjustments were made but these things should have been mentioned and dealt with before our committing stay

Our stay was very good. There were lots of things to do (well planned activities). Every staff member we met was very pleasant. Our only complaint were the bathrooms/showers. They need to be cleaned a lot more often.

Great stay. Super staff. Love the area. Tons of activities for adults and kids. Kabins for novices. Sites (RV & Tent) for the more seasoned camper. Come explore, stay and experience.

lots of activities for the kids planned. It was a great weekend trip even if it rained a lot. Only reason didn’t give 5 stars was pool turned green and rock wall was not up and running. Which we understood with CoVID somethings don’t happen but an update on website would have been helpful. Also they did shock the pool and it was better in a day but we left that morning. Overall we will be back

Customer service was awesome, everyone was so nice. Carol who did the activities was great! Bathrooms were a little bit of a mess.

We arrived early and were very thankful to be given one of the emergency sites after a harrowing drive. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Our daughter loved the scavenger hunt, pancakes and playing with her new friends on the playground!

This is such a sweet place, and the perfect balance of a community/resort. It's definitely a campground, and a vacation destination, but it's a great place to get away and have quiet time. This is my 2nd time staying here, and the first was in the fall. I can wholeheartedly recommend both seasons!

Clean facilities, well-maintained sites, friendly staff, pancake breakfast, great location, and a WINE SHOP! We'll stay here whenever we're in the area.

This KOA is off the beaten path as it should be. Could not hear any traffic noise even though it was fairly close to 9W and I-84. I had some problems with my RV and all I had to do was ask the maintenance crew for a couple of tools I forgot to bring and they helped me any way they could. Obviously they were limited on what they could do, but I was directed to places locally, really great people.

The second pool was closed and the pool that was open was dirty the garbages were over flowing even after I told a staff member. The garbage bins were over flowing with at least 10 bags on the ground next to them. The pool area was very unkept with only 2 tables. Kids were being dropped off who were not registered guests we had a bike stolen from the bike rack and no activities happen.

Very relaxing. Staff is friendly and helpful. One criticism would be the directions. The old exit numbers for Route 84 are still in the KOA book.

Really enjoyed our stay. The personnel at this campground were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the free pancakes each morning. We will be staying there again next year……

This campground/ showers/ bathrooms were dirty. Not the best KOA I’ve been too. I did like free pancakes, the sausage patty was way to small to cost $1 Some of the staff was very friendly and nice.

We're already talking about a return trip! We had a fabulous time at the New York City/N Newburgh KOA this past weekend. The staff was friendly, the park was clean. There are a lot of activities for all. Gotta love those free pancakes! Our fellow campers were courteous! Which, if you've camped a lot lately, you will appreciate. (Sadly, campers who follow camping etiquette has become rare.)

Lots of family fun and things to do a this campground and a very accommodating vibe from the staff, who were all really lovely and helpful. That being said, the bathrooms and showers are pretty gross and within the two days that we were there, the dumpsters were overflowing with garbage during the most recent heatwave.

We've been going to your KOA for 16yrs. It's the only local place we go. Everything was fine. I forgot to tell the general store that the shower head in the first shower popped off & hit me in the head. The store was already closed & I forgot to tell them the next morning (we had to pack up to check out). Other than that we had a great time! Thank you, DawnMarie & Glen Maybaum

Site was shaded nicely which was great as it was very hot and sunny during our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great amenities for kids.

Beautiful campground. Very clean. Paved roads and level secluded feeling sites. No issues with noise. Store well stocked and all employees we met were great!

Beautiful location. RV sites have lovely trees. Feels like a state park but with KOA amenities. Extensive camp store and lots of available activities for children on the grounds. Late check in was a breeze. Didn’t use the restroom facilities but they were easy to access. We’re already booked to return.

I loved my stay at the sight camp but the only complaint that I have is the bathrooms. Both of the bathrooms and showers need to be clean more often and really well clean. Other then that it was a great experience. We would love to go back again in the future. Thank you very much !

Smooth check in with very nice, friendly staff. They were able to move us to a different site on my request. We stay here when in town visiting friends and this is our go to place. We didn't use the rest rooms of other facilities, but I'm sure they are fine. They have a nice rec room for the kids as well as a pool and other activities. They serve pancakes ( free) every morning

Campsite great. Activity Director Carol outstanding. The condition of the property is below average. Miniature golf course in disrepair, one pool green with algae and not open, bathrooms dated and need refurbished, fire truck used for hayrides out of service for two plus years, and general deterioration of the property. We come here to take our grandkids who live in Ct. we are 5 hours away.

We stay at the Newburgh KOA as a stop on our annual trip to visit the grandkids in New England. We usually stay just one night (during the week) so we don't see much of the weekend activity. The staff is friendly and the grounds are kept neat. Most sites are "woodsy" with gravel. It's about 8 miles off I-84.

Each site is private and inviting thanks to carefully planned landscaping. Lots of summertime fun for kids and free pancakes every morning!! We will return for sure. Be prepared for additional “resort” fee of $6./day and “pet fee” of $2./day. I Wasn’t informed about that when reserving!

I have stayed here 3 times this year. 4th time will be Halloween weekend. I have two trips booked for next year. Very friendly place all campers and staff are very nice. It can get a little loud at times. However you can't have fun being quiet. I do not use the bathrooms so I can not comment on that.
