Was a really nice stay and the the staff were amazing. The yellow jackets were out of control. Had to go buy three traps for each camp site and still had them all over the place. We will for sure stay here again, hopefully next time there will be less yellow jackets.

3rd time staying here. Had a great time with our grandkids who loved the pool, playground and walking around the campground.

We stay here fairly often, we like where its located and the things there are to do close by. The KOA staff is always helpful, pretty quiet place to camp.

We stayed in a totally different part of the park this time. The camp site was small which was fine but the side east of the check in location seems to be very busy compaired to other parts of the park. Labor Day availability was limited but we gave it a try.

This was a wonderful KOA! The host was really nice and accommodating, and even though they had a busted water Main right before we arrived, he offered to let us stay in our original site (affected by water main issues) or in a different one! The grounds were beautiful and well maintained! Lots of room to take our dogs on a hike, great patio areas, and just really pretty with big sites!

Loved this KOA out in the woods! Sites had trees in between for additional separation… our pull-thru was long and wide and easy to park truck and trailer. The pool and lake are pretty far from the camp sites, and pool closing at 5:30/ no boat rentals this year was kind of a bummer but we still had a great time! Day tripped to Sandpoint one day of our stay.

Camp hosts are awesome and made regular trips around the campground. I love the newer patio sites, really nice and worth the small up charge. :) Lots of happy families and kids playing. As others have noted the yellowjackets have decided this is a great campground too. Not sure how to combat this problem. They do provide traps but spraying may be needed throughout the campground?

The power outages were frustrating but we chose not to allow it to spoil our stay.

Bees were everywhere. Our site was very very close to the two dump sites. So smelly! The thousand trail sites were without sewer but more inviting. There was a nice pool. The little lake was in fact little. It worked for a couple nights while visiting friends. The camp was clean and the staff accommodating about the bees.

Well maintained campgrounds,bathrooms,showers,RV spots are great also! Friendly people and are very helpful-they work for you in anyway possible to make sure your stay is great! This will be our third stay and we enjoyed it just as the other two times!

Nice patio but unusable because of yellow jackets. No amenities unless you unhitch and drive. So called nature trails are old roads with trash and no directions.

Were sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Our amenities are not in with the sites. Everything is just a few minutes walk from most all sites, and you can drive to clubhouse/pool area or down to the fishing lake area. There is a mile hike around fishing lake and other trails are shown on park map.

We have stayed before, the campground is great and we enjoy the clubhouse and lake. Wish the store could be open more. We got there Sunday and it was open but then not again until Thursday.

Staff at the park are excellent. The parking spot for our RV was difficult because of uphill road and loose gravel. But a very clean park and a lot to do.

The campground itself was nice' but the amenities were not as advertised. You have to actually drive to the club house unless you want a half mile or better walk. The "lake" is the same way. The beach area and dock are obviously not taken care of neither is the lake. Again not as advertised. The lake is NOT "pristine clear waters". It is over grown with millweed and lilypads. LOTS of bees.

Were sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We are a large park which is great so everyone is not on top of each other. You can walk or drive to pool and lake, some sites are farther away. Lake is advertised as a small FISHING LAKE. By the end of summer there are some lilypads around the sides

Our only complaint was the bees. BUT who has control over that.... We were SO thankful for the people working. It's a hard time when there is no staff, but they stepped up and did a great job. We were happy with all the services provided even with less staff. My kids DO love the art and craft activities and hope that will come back at some point. We will be back

I think your online reservation system needs to be updated to allow people the ability to reserve the specific site(s) they want. The $10.00 additional fee to do so is pretty off putting and feels greedy since customers are already paying a premium for your campsites.

Beautiful campground that is well maintained. Lots of walking trails that we enjoyed. Town of Newport close by to enjoy antique shopping and a local restaurant. Did lots of fishing on the nice shore around the lake. Wish campsite store was a little bigger but not a big deal. Staff was very helpful and kind. Lots of signs to lead the way, easy to find. Will visit again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here . There are plenty of things to do and the amenities are all kept up well. The only bad thing is there are bees everywhere . We’ve been here before and there were bee traps at most of the sites but not this time . We couldn’t even eat a meal outside without getting pestered by bees. I know it’s camping , but I think more traps could be set to help.

My husband and I stayed at the Newport KOA in August for the first time. We had a great time, the camping areas are large, nicely treed and well maintained. The staff was courteous and helpful. The bathrooms and showers appeared to be clean and sanitary. The pool was open and also very clean. We will stay there again!

The facility was nice but the staff was so unpleasant. They make you feel like it’s a privilege to have them serve you. No one waves or smiles. Very bossy and nosey. I felt like I was watching a mall cop reality show. Overall they make you feel very unwelcome.

We had a short stay (2 nights) but had an excellent time. Campsites and bethrooms were clean. I recommended this campground to my son who has small children.
