Campground Reviews

Nice friendly staff that is more than willing to provide any information you need about the Niagara Falls area. Clean up-to-date rest rooms, dog area, cabins and nice looking swimming pool. Pancakes breakfast available on Saturdays and Sundays. A very nice restful KOA to stay at and if we are in the area again we will stay here again.

Campground was very nice, sites are a bit close to one another. We had a pop up camper and got a tent site by the woods and a small creek which was very buggy. Some of campground was closed due to flooding. Bathrooms and showers very clean and nice. Helpful staff. Very friendly.

Lovely park. Friendly staff. Great addition of the new dog park!

Wonderful campground very clean and the staff is really nice

The camping space was not level and it was hard to maneuver between the decking and the hookups. If they had pictures of the sites, we would not have taking that one. Also it was noisy well after 10:00 p.m.(Most parks have quiet hours starting at 10:00 p.m.) I definitely would not stay there for any length of time.

The campground and people were great, but the mosquitoes were unbearable and we could not be outside at all. We realize this was out of their control, but it really hurt our outing.

Was nice place but mosquitos we’re horrible

Reasonable prices. Really fairly close to everything, but out of the busy area.

This should not be a KOA it was the worst campground we have every been to you can not walk out side without being attacked by mosquitoes the pool was very dirty your photos of the park must have been photoshopped we left early they would not credit back our money. Who every validated this campground should be fired

Not what you expect. Unkempt grounds, filthy pool, "playground" not maintained, dog "park" is just a fenced in area the size of my kitchen. For the price, not worth it.

The stuff was super friendly and took care of everything we needed. Campground is very clean and bathrooms are very clean and smell clean always! Such a nice group of people here. We’ll definitely make the 7 hour drive again! Thank you so much!!

Great location away from the Niagara Falls, but close enough to see everything. Very friendly and informative host, gave us more then enough details about the area and what to see. The only negative is that the sites and roadways needed to be smooth, leveled and gravel applied. You can see the improvements to the buildings. Time to repair the roads and sites,Potholes were everywhere full of water

Lovely campground, meticulously maintained. Well equipped store. Nice clean bathrooms and private, user-friendly showers. Such nice people work there, you'll see us again.

All went well, but I still have a couple complaints 1st is mosquito's I suggest fogging the area 2nd site 58 next to over flow camping area, with two dog parks on premises people brought their dogs next to me to toilet them, only 1 of 5 where courteous and cleaned after them and it only added to the mosquito problem stirring them up I wished a small sign and perhaps a camp ground policy

The mosquitos were terrible don’t think I could take another visit here. We got bit so bad. No dog park and cable was another issue to not stay again. I did like how it was overly big campgrounds.

Sorry, I know the weather had been and was horrific but the green pool and swampy center row put a bad taste in our mouths. The low lying areas need to be built up so you don't need a row boat to leave your camper when it rains. We won't be back.

Nice, small campground. The showers were clean. The pool was full of cotton wood “blossoms” but that is definitely not their fault. It was really pleasant. The only thing I would change is after sight seeing the falls all day the camp store closed at 6 so we had to run out for wood.

The sites are a bit small, very very quiet campground, and cheaper than neighboring KOAs. We’d stay there again.

Jean well kept bathrooms

The mosquitoes were terrible. KOA management should really get the park professionally sprayed. The playground was filthy. My kids were covered in dirt from using the slides. The spots need gravel. Our trailer was sinking. The pool did not look usable.

We stayed in a cabin and it was fine except for the carpenter ants. They were coming through the walls and ceiling, falling into our beds, we would shake everything out before going to sleep and still wake up with ants crawling on us. Mosquitoes were also the worst I've ever seen but at least they weren't in the cabin. Also disappointed the pool was dirty. Couldn't swim in June.

Nice people, but overall the park needed to be brought up to todays expected standards
Jun 20, 2019
Not much to say other than it was a pull-thru site. Pool left quite a bit of disappointment for cleanliness and sites were bare bones. We like KOA’s but this one has no frills. Sites are just old rocks with no attractive appearance and the mosquitoes will literally stick to skin in the daytime. We did not stay outside the site. We did like the fact that we could catch a tour bus from the si

Very expensive, even for KOA. Poor roads. This park needs TLC.

Big lot, got good advice on the sites due to the rain. Great Customer Service. Gave us information on area grocery, gas etc

We saw the improvements made since our last visit. Helpful with booking tours. Understand about the removal of trees but hope they will plant more. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet Thanks for a great stay The Skelley’s

Just what we needed as a quick one night stop before our trip to Darien Lake. Was great that the park was located just after the border. Had the weather been better, the kids would’ve used the pool. They did keep themselves busy at the basketball nets. Nice and small, friendly staff in the office!!

Bath house was ok, not great as showers were not well cleaned. Mosquitoes were rampant, could not go outside without multiple bites. Pool area needed work. Rec room crowded with stored tables and chairs. Nice laundry. Hosts were nice and friendly.

Understanding that they had a lot of recent rain, campground was extremely wet, ankle deep at some sites. Regardless of recent rain, nearby pond and drainage canal caused there to be mosquitoes, enough to carry you away! This is obviously an ever-present problem as the KOA store had large displays of repellents, citronella candles, etc. no spraying was done. You could not walk from RV to car.

The heavy rainfall had taken it’s toll on the campground. They could benefit from some additional gravel on their pull through sites. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. The pool area is rather small and they do not have a very big play area if you are traveling with kids. It is quiet and close enough to the falls.

People were great. Only problems we had were weather related and mosquitoes. Both of which owners could do little about.

I am a mom that stayed in a small cabin with my two kids because I had a soccer tournament close by. The cabin was super neat and clean as well as the bathrooms that were directly across from us (which I requested). My kids definitely want to go back.
Jun 16, 2019
The sites were not well maintained. It was raining, but very little gravel to park on. Thought because it was a KOA it would be better.

Nice little park out in the country. Quiet and easy access to tourist areas. Lots of good restaurants in nearby Lewiston. Not uncommon to see deer if coming in after dark.
Jun 15, 2019
Mosquitoes were horrible, swarming waiting to open car door or camper door, never seen anything that bad! Couldn’t even sit out! Lots were small too. But conveniently located

It's a nice, older park. Nice looking pool. Park surrounded by trees and is well away from noisy traffic. Sites are short though. I have a 38' 5th wheel. Barely able to park my truck perpendicular to trailer and keep it off the road. Had to move it twice to campers behind me could get out.

Campground was too small. Sites close together. Bugs everywhere.

We were advised that they had just removed 40+ ash trees. The ground was dug up and muddy as a result. Only a few spots had sewer and we were told it was luck of the draw if you got one of these sites, we didnt. The park advertised WiFi, however we didnt get WiFi at our site, you had to be at the front store to get it. Only 1 dump station, which requires you to backout. Gravel roads were uneven.

This is a nice campground. The hosts Fran and Lee are great people. The store is very good with plenty of camping gear and food items. They even have local produce and fruit for sale! They hosted a pancake breakfast, an ice cream social and a wine tasting on Labor day weekend. They have a pool and playground for the kids.

Great hosts. Dog sitting and RV washing service available. Quiet location. Pool, cabins and small dog park on premises. Extremely pet friendly. Close and an easy drive to all Niagara attractions. Small but comprehensive grocery and produce shop in office. Priced a little higher than local supermarket. Clean showers with hot water. Laundry. Social events on the weekends.
