If you're looking for the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and peaceful Northwoods relaxation, look no further than Soo Line Trail / Onamia KOA. Nestled just off highway 169 North of Onamia, Minnesota, our campground is your gateway to fun, fresh air, and family memories — all right on the edge of the legendary Soo Line Trail.
The Soo Line Trail is more than just a scenic route — it's a destination in itself. This former railroad corridor stretches for miles across central Minnesota and is a favorite for:
ATV riding on well-maintained gravel trails
Walking or hiking at your own pace
Biking through the woods and past lakes
And the best part? You can access it directly from our campground. No loading up trailers or driving somewhere — just wake up, gear up, and hit the trail!
Whether you’re rolling in with your RV, pitching a tent, or looking for a cozy lodging experience, Soo Line Trail / Onamia KOA has you covered. We offer:
Spacious pull-through RV sites with water and electric hook ups
Comfortable Deluxe Indoor Lodging for those who prefer the creature comforts (we do not offer stand alone cabins at this time)
Classic tent sites for the more rugged camper
Clean restroom and shower facilities as well as laundry facility
A fully stocked camp store for essentials, snacks, and souvenirs
While the trail may be our biggest attraction, it’s far from the only thing to do here. Our KOA offers activities and amenities to keep campers of all ages entertained:
Playground for the little adventurers
Organized ATV rides (poker runs, fundraisers, women's rides)
Family activities during the summer
Kamp K9® off-leash dog park so your furry friends can romp
When you're ready to explore beyond the campground, you'll find yourself just minutes from some of central Minnesota's best attractions:
