The campground owner was very helpful in returning an item to us that we mistakenly left at the campground. Everyone was very helpful and friendly that we dealt with. The pull through sites were not quite as close as the other sites. Bathhouse was very clean. This is a quiet campground.

Great experience while staying here in February for the Central Florida Music Festival in Mount Dora. Nice people and clean facilities. Couldn’t ask for more.

Très bel emplacement , spacieux avec grande dalle de béton . A seulement 35 minutes de tous les parcs Disney par les autoroutes payantes . Piscine chauffée à l'année. Très calme pour ceux qui veulent se reposer .

Nice campground, really enjoyed pull thru right up front. Nearby traffic a little noisy, but a great location.

We camped this KOA during the month of January 2020. The campground is very well kept and the staff is very friendly. All the sites have plenty of room to stretch out. I did not use the bathhouse but I did go into it. It also is kept very clean. This KOA is a Journey so there are limited amenities. Heated pool, shuffle board and corn hole. We are planning to return next winter. We had a greattime

The park was clean and the staff was very friendly, but other than the pool, there were no planned activities. A card room would have been nice. A map of the area with things to see would have been very helpful. We had a car, but never found a restaurant nearby that was suitable to eat at. Again, a map of the area with places to see, eat, etc. would have been very helpful.

WiFi is greatly improved over a stay a year ago. Sites that back onto highway are noisy in early am and early evening (rush hour). 4 night stay for quick access to Hwy 429. Friendly folks. All sizes of rv’s present. No tired seasonal rv’s.

Nice place to stay for a quiet stacation in Florida. As a side note: Would like to see monthly KOAs that are available in Florida like in February and March and April, etc as I would like to stay at different KOAs each month but I don't want to have to go to each location finding NO campgrounds open. If I was aware that a location had spots available I'd take advantage of that location/month

Nice well maintained KOA. Had some reservations about the little FBO airport next door and the rail cross/track, but neither was an issue.

staff was extremely welcoming and the grounds are well cared for. that said, we stayed in site 25, right next to the leaching fields for the sewer where the mosquitos were awful in the evenings even with a ton of repellent. add the pleasant aroma and our experience left something to be desired.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have no idea what you're talking about. We are on city sewer. There are NO leaching fields!

Campground on an extremely busy for lane road with many trucks running at 3 am weekdays. Many back in sites are along this road with only bushes lining the fence. Other sites in the interior are a little quieter. Well kept park however there is no consistency with rules.

Very lovely park. Quiet and staff was very helpful. It's small enough that you don't feel that you're in a parking lot. Nice grassy areas and trees give it a park- like setting. We had a deluxe site with concrete pad. Very nice. Excellent cable TV too.

Great camping here. Great staff and all you need is available at store. Located near many attractions minutes away, including Disney.

Always always hate leaving this campground. This is our 4th year of vacationing here and next winter we have already booked 4 months. Twilla is the best sweetest person who is always smiling and helpful. She can make it happen no matter what the request is. Whether you are staying a day or two or months at a time. You will enjoy the close proximity to some local restaurants in addition to Mt Dora

Clean and quiet. Over all I enjoyed my stay and sure I will return in the future. It seemed the other campers were over 60 so I fit right on in. I used the pool area everyday, in January that was nice. If your a kid all you have is a swing set, money bars and shuffle board, but your in Orlando, get out there! Nice camp ground , nice people well maintained.

It’s the third time my wife and I have stayed there so we like it. Every one we encountered was nice and friendly. If I had one complaint this trip it is simply that our lot could have had some gravel or grass covering the area. In the morning, particularly if it rained, the area where we were parked got muddy.

while paying extra for site #90....without our pads that were extra heavy duty, we could not have leveled. The cement patios area were excellent, but in the soft soil.....where the rv is positioned, hard packed rock or equivalent is needed!!!!!!

Good location for Central Florida. Our 4-day stay included trips to Altamonte Springs, Wekiva Springs State Park, Mount Dora, and Daytona Beach. KOA is easy to find. Friendly staff, clean premises. Wifi was frustratingly unconnectable on the weekend, but that happens almost everywhere.

Sights seemed to be more on top of each other more so than all the other KOA we have ever been to. It was clean. Trash pickup was limited time…never had that before at a KOA.

Great KOA & Super Nice & Accommodating Staff. Very Clean Bathrooms, Spacious Sites & Very Safe. Close Enough to All Orlando Theme Parks & Easy Access to Highway & Shopping. This is Our 2nd Year at this KOA & We Plan on Only Using This KOA Each Year for Our Florida Trips (with our 2 & 4 yr Old Kiddos). THANKS For Another Great Stay!
