Our deluxe back-in view site was great. We enjoyed the large patio & gas firepit. Many of the other sites were too close together & we would not have enjoyed our stay if we had been in one of those. One of the workers was very helpful. We did not have a conversion plug for our electricity so he quickly brought us one to borrow. Also the neighbor needs to turn off their awning blue lite at night!

Everything was rly nice about this KOA. The only grievance I had was the air conditioning was on in the shower making it freezing when getting out of the shower.

Place was clean and well managed. We only stayed one night, moving to Washington State. However, would have enjoyed a longer stay. Appears they have several permanent residents, but took pride of the places and the few we met were extremely friendly.

I liked the check in process of grabbing the packet with our site number and map without having to go inside.

It was okay for one night. Like most KOA’s the sites are too close together and the neighbors sewer hookup is at your picnic table. There are a few exceptions on this with the sites having a little more space. This KOA was clean and convenient for our travel needs.

As a quick overnight stay, this is just fine. Sites are a little cramped, and we were quite surprised at the number of long-term residents. Some of those long-term sites need to be cleaned up as it presents the appearance of a run-down area.

Sandwiched between two other RVs that obviously have ‘permanent’ guests, with very little space even though we reserved a ‘deluxe’ spot. In fact the entire park seemed to be full of nothing but ‘permanent’ residents. The pet area is an afterthought. The employees were all very nice, although mask usage during COVID could be more strictly enforced.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

To clarify: you reserved online a View site, but not a "Deluxe" site (a pity, as the Deluxe View was open)... Yes, we DO have a higher % of long-term guests than usual--As with many things in 2020, we see a change in people's NEEDS (actual housing vs. just vacationing)... and so the ratio shifts. :)

Even though the Pendleton KOA is very tight quarters -- it's super quiet and super friendly. They are also practicing non-contact checkins and checkouts during the Covid Pandemic which is very responsible of them. They will give you a number to call if you need help with anything but otherwise leave you alone. Great little campground.

very clean but with all the land available in the area , no need to be so close to next site. would never stay longer than 1 night if all KOAs have this spacing.
