Friendly staff, quiet at night, clean restrooms/showers, beautiful trees. We didn't swing it the pool looked great. We know they were in the process of improving but the new tar was stinky and the equipment loud. It will be a great camp.

Tranquil setting among mature live oaks. Large campsites. Well maintained. This is my favorite of all the KOA campgrounds I’ve visited. The owners are doing a fantastic job developing it.

Great service at Perry KOA. I was unable to check in due to a late arrival. The staff insured me that they could facilitate my check in easily. They did and, even though I arrived at 12 Midnight, I was able to my cabin and a good night's sleep!

The folks there were very pleasant the campsite was beautiful the trees were gorgeous and very quiet I slept really good that night I would recommend this to anybody thank you Perry KOA

Smell from what we thought could of been a paper mill was not good.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You are correct the smell is a paper mill a little over two miles away. Thankfully it's one of those things that's usually in the early morning or at night and doesn't seem to limit the enjoyment of our park.

This is probably the BEST KOA you will ever stay at !!!! The atmosphere was pleasant The Owners the Staff everyone super helpful I really had an awesome stay… Highly recommend…

We had a very relaxing stay, just what we wanted. Used this as our travel destination while visiting other places. Spaces were nice big and well maintained.

I had a big disappointment and didn't stay as wasted money. I book online unaware until arrived at night to a grass site back in to the high growth large dogs barking. I didn't sleep there and came back to pick up RV to find heavy equipment working blowing around clouds of dust.

We love the big oak trees! The deluxe patio spot is the perfect spot for our family ( one dog). The owners are friendly and always willing to lend a hand when needed. It's quiet and peaceful.

With just say I be back, I do said everything great about this Campground, nicely located , very clean, all the sites very well taken care of , very silence sleep night, but first and of all the staff, is so great ,so friendly, and so nice that make you stay longer than you planed of, I do recommended on every aspect ,you will enjoyed everything from the staff up to the facilities of this camp.

For us, this was an overnight, on-the-road stay, not a destination stay. The campsite was just as described, everything was in working order. After-hours checkin was easy. Bathrooms were spotless, and the campground is well kept.

We had no picnic table at our site. I called and requested a table, was told one would be brought, but one never came. There was also garbage on our site and it looked to me like a lot of people lived there full time. We have been to dozens of KOAs and love them because all of the amenities are well kept. Perhaps this one has new ownership and is trying to get it up to speed.

The only thing you need more bath houses closer to the campsites. If you are staying one night people may it want to use their black tank and it was a longer walk than we usually have.

Quiet park in the back but roads in the park could be much better and gravel sites would be nice.

We are glad you liked the back of the park and timing is everything, we've been working with a paver since April, we are finally on their schedule for the last week of this month!

We stayed in a cabin again this year, it was clean and they have done some work around the park and it is even better!! We will definitely be back!

Just an amazing experience/stay at the beautiful Perry KOA! GREAT check-in experience and an amazing site. Beautiful sunsets and plenty to do in the area. Amenities were great and improvements still ongoing. Our site was probably one of the best, but there were so many others that we are excited to return and stay at! Keep up the GREAT work, Perry KOA!

We stayed 3 nights. It was a love-hate relationship. We had a super site in the back of the campground. It was very open and spacious with a concrete patio. But our site was full of dried grass clippings. The roads were bumpy. Fair amount of long term campers. Not sure why it is a holiday KOA. Run-down

Sorry you were disappointed in your stay. We mow grass on Thursday mornings, we have quite a few summer monthlies (3 nurses, 1 ER dr, 3 working on local electric, etc), we are facing a $192K paving project later this month and the list goes on. 3 yrs and $1mil in fixes--should have made a TV show!

I stopped in to get my pro pain tank filled and then was on my way to find a laundromat to finish drying my laundry (because I was at a different place and dryer quit working) so I asked the gentleman who was helping me where the closest laundromat was and he informed me I could use the one there, I was very Happy I didn't have to drive around town to find a place!!! I was very Happy with this KOA that I will for sure tell people to go there!!!!!
