KOA had a big rig, full hook up available (last one). Newbies are purchasing large 5th wheels and motor homes. RV camps need to expand their sites to accommodate the larger RV numbers with larger size and full hookup. (We have an 11 year old 38’ 5th wheel Montana and had difficulty finding sites this summer)

The site was very oddly set up. We paid for full hook ups pull through sight. We could not pull our camper in a way that the door would face the fire ring and picknick table unless we had cords and the sewer line running through the area we were using. It didnt make any sense. We had to back the camper at an angle that caused it to be on uneven ground in order to just hook up to water and power

Lovely! The weather was perfect! The campground is great! I was there earlier in the year but now there are pots of flowers all over the place and the beautiful trees turning all shades of fall! Lots of people staying but all great. Everywhere clean and inviting! I’ll be back next year for sure! Just gorgeous drive up the coast to Grand Marais. Leaves stunning! Thank you!

Nice woodsy atmosphere. Laundry facilities were clean and worked well. Sites spaced apart nicely but none of them were level. Very noisy from Highway and especially the backup beeping from the business equipment next door starting at 4am. A high wooden fence would help. Also, internet wasn’t secure.

We would have rated it much higher but the sites are way out of level. In some sites, campers were raising the front of their rigs 2 feet. Your staff was excellent and you were close by everything.

Our stay included three nights in a rustic cabin at Pictured Rocks KOA. Check-in was quick, the customer service provided by Steve was outstanding - he was very kind, walked through the layout of the KOA, where showers were, where bathrooms were, where the dog park and dog walk areas were, as well as where to get water, etc. The cabin was clean and fresh - one of the nicest we have stayed at.

Need to put more gravel on the parking spots. And maybe gravel around the fire rings to help eliminate the mud.

A disappointment to say the least. Both bathhouses are in desperate need of an update & thorough cleaning. The showers could be better simply by adding some hooks to hang clothes & towels! Showers lacked individual drains and adjustable shower heads. WiFi is inadequate for park this size. The county dump across the street does not add to the ambieance, especially at 6 AM when the bulldozers start.

I'm sorry to hear you think the bathrooms need updated as we just updated them this spring. We deep clean them daily and spot clean throughout the day. All showers have hooks along with a bench if needed. We have several WIFI extenders throughout the property to meet everyones WIFI needs.

We loved the campground, the problem was that when I booked I specifically asked about WIFI and was told it worked well and would reach our site. During our stay it did not work until 6pm or later at night. It's like it was turned off during the time the store was open. My son fell at our campsite and dislocated his knee and we didn't have service so could not call 911. I had work meetings I miss

Thank you for feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the WIFI didn't reach at all times for you. We have several extenders throughout the property and at one point during your stay the internet provider was down in the area.

Good location in proximity to water falls and National Lake shore. We stayed at site 4 a little close to the road with no trees or anything to separate. The site itself was level side to side, but really narrow in the back and tight to site 3. Nice park though and staff was friendly.

Our stay was awesome! We have been camping in the UP for over 20 years and Wandering Wheels is by far the best campground! The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We are already on a waiting list for next summer! We usually stay for eight days in July, August, and again in September. Can't wait!

Only bad thing was just one bathroom. And closed for two hours every day. Also no recycling..that’s hard for us!

Campsite was door to door with neighboring site, no privacy to sit or dine outdoors. Shower room was clean and looked nice, but no lights over bathroom sinks, too dark to shave; shower stalls were the smallest we've seen, and we've camped all over the country; no room to dress, no place to set clothes or toiletries. Campground is too big for a single restroom/shower facility, We liked location.

Outstanding stay at Munising KOA. Clean, Quiet, Friendly, and the tree canopy was spectacular. I can’t wait until next year’s trip. See you again soon.

Great campground! We loved the wooded, secluded feeling. The gentleman in the office was extremely friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities were great. We would definitely stay here again.

Our group stayed in sites 9-11, Best KOA I have stayed at, spacious sites and heavily wooded. Water and electric hook-ups, dump station in front of office. Close to Lake Superior, hiking trails, breweries, just outside of Munising. Great fun

The camp site was a wonderful location. It was close to all the site seeing we wanted to do. There were many beautiful trails and waterfalls near by. All the Staff members were amazing. I couldn't believe how truly helpful they were with everything! I would definitely go back again!!

Great KOA for fall colors. We just missed having access to the pool but nice little hikes and super close to the falls, pictured rocks and everything else we needed. Will visit again. Staff were awesome and welcoming!
