Nice staff, nice pool, nice sites, a few broken door latches in the bathrooms but overall a nice place to camp.

We booked a site with water but the water is so far from the camper we couldn’t hook up our hose. It’s a back site so there was nothing we could do. The site was pure mud. I realize that you can’t control the weather but more rocks or building up the site so it doesn’t become a pool would have been nice. The staff was very friendly. But overall I feel that the grounds were not the best.

Nothing special , I get in that area you are not really there to stay at the campsite all day as there is a ton of site seeing to do! But the showers were gross, broken floor tiles, my daughter cut her foot on the broken tile. There were cigarette butts in the changing part of the shower stall. I am not generally picky on things but when you get out of the shower not feeling clean, not good!

Staff are very nice. Camp sites are very close together and all dirt. Site flooded when it rained. Good cable and WiFi Nice grass sites in front by road.

From our experiences with KOA Campgrounds, this one was one of the poorest. The staff was very friendly and helpful with what to see and do in the area but the campground could sure use some updates. The showers were dark and falling apart in places. Could use more gravel on the sites as they were dirt and muddy.

Very nice, easy trip for rv’s. Tent camping appeared to be more challenging as facilities were not always the cleanest.

We really enjoyed our stay. Campground was kept clean and tidy. Workers were very nice and helpful. Pull through sites were easy to enter and had lots of trees. Would definitely stay there again!

Staff were friendly, campsite was nice and shaded. Bathroom could use updating, and showers need to be cleaned more often. If you are staying in a tent, beware of the low spots on your site, and put your tent on the highest ground possible. During a thunderstorm with heavy rain (which can happen often here), the campground becomes a flowing river with water at least 6 inches deep in low spots.

We have stayed at many KOA’s. This campground itself was nice. The bathrooms were very old and discussing. They definitely need to be replaced. Also we camped in the backend of the campground and the bathrooms were up front. Very inconvenient. This campground is large enough to warrant two bathrooms.

Tough to get connected to the WiFi . Our site required 5” of spacers to level unit. Too many potholes throughout the campground.

The bathrooms were pretty clean and staff was nice and helpful. However, there was minimal privacy at the camp sites which was not ideal the cops came to the camp next to ours at midnight and stayed until 12:45 in the morning and they had their headlights shining right into our tent for 45 min. Masks were not inforced and it made me uncomfortable.

I enjoyed my stay! Wish we could've stayed longer. It was cozy and quiet and the bathrooms weren't dirty. Also very close to Pictured Rocks/Munising (10 min drive)

Nona at the front desk was INCREDIBLE! We are new campers and my husband was stranded in the UP with our pop-up and no camp site (the park we were supposed to be at had filled). We reached Nona and she was able to find us one sight for two days, and another for the following two. She let him park our camper until the site was vacant so he was able to drive around and enjoy the UP until check in.

Campground was ok. Bathrooms and showers were very dirty and outdated. Bathrooms and showers need to be updated and clean. Playground equipment needs to be updated. Pool was ok. Not bad for an outdoor pool. Could be cleaned more often.

There are lots of trees making the close sites feel very private. Clean and quiet! Beautiful spot. Will stay again.

We enjoyed this campground. Good location, friendly staff. However, our one complaint, and it's a big one, is the bathrooms. The showers are disgusting, they are dirty, very poorly lit, and they have cracked and broken tile that is smashed in. Water and whatever else just sits there and molds. We feel very uneasy and gross when using them. Please remodel and fix the showers. Otherwise we enjoyed.

Perfect place to stay for a camping weekend away! Felt very safe with all the Covid precautions that were taken and enjoyed all that they had to offer.

Liked the site, bathrooms are in desperate need of updating. Showers are hard to maneuver in and moldy. Floors could be mopped more often as they got pretty muddy. Check in was easy and very friendly.

Check in is too late , 3pm , by time you get all set up its 4pm which means up in the upper Peninsula your day is pretty much done for , everything is so far away at 4 pm it's just too late to go anywhere! , it would be nice if your just passing through you could check in by noon , your check out is 11am

We stayed for a week to see Pictured Rocks. This location was convenient and provided easy access. Site could have been a little more level.

Made 2 reservation and paid extra for a pull thru site and we didn’t have pull thru. Overpriced for camping to only have a pool be a main feature. Wasn’t impressed at all

My boyfriend and I planned on staying at a different campground. Actually we had a few in mind, but when we got to Munising area on Friday, nothing was available. We called KOA at 7:30 ish and they came through with one last site. We ended up staying another night because if the campground and location.

Loved the shaded sites. The cable line was not working both nights that we were there, but repair crew showed up as we were getting ready to pull out. The manager was very friendly and attentive to all campers. Masks were provided at the door for those that did not have one. Camp store is stocked with items that campers may have forgotten. We did not use pool or bath houses due to Covid.

Place was pretty busy. Stayed 3 nights. We were woken up two nights At 430-5 in the morning by garbage trucks continuously shaking /emptying dumpsters. Also we paid for a pull thru and got a back in, not a huge deal but they wouldn’t tell me if i was charged more for booking a pull thru. Other than these issues it was a nice place

We had a wonderful stay, there are so many beautiful places to see in the area. The camp hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The sites are quiet and wooded. We were very happy with our stay.

The campsites were nice, and in the woods. The kids enjoyed the pool. However, we were very disappointed in the bathhouses. The showers were disgusting. There were loose tiles that would spew mud when stepped on. The vent fan on the ceiling had lint and/or mold hanging from it. Totally not what we expected from a KOA. Overall, the bathhouses did not seem to be cleaned regularly.

The camp site was a wonderful location. It was close to all the site seeing we wanted to do. There were many beautiful trails and waterfalls near by. All the Staff members were amazing. I couldn't believe how truly helpful they were with everything! I would definitely go back again!!

Great KOA for fall colors. We just missed having access to the pool but nice little hikes and super close to the falls, pictured rocks and everything else we needed. Will visit again. Staff were awesome and welcoming!
