Disappointed...phone calls not returned.....lack of expected site guide....talked down to by young lady at check-in. Not the koa I'm familiar with. This will cause me to think twice before I renew my koa account and I don't plan to visit this koa again.

Staff and facilities were good.....while a beautiful area I find a small site with just electric to high cost at $45 a night.....

Clean, well maintained campground with mostly shaded sites. Did not use pool or restrooms, but laundry well kept.

We absolutely love the KOA in Munising. Conveniently located to see all the attractions. We will be returning. One of our favorites. Thank you for the warm hospitality.

Campers next to us were loud until midnight. Bathrooms were nice, a little messy one day right before cleaning. Kids loved the pool & rated it as the best part of their week, even better than the national lakeshore. Spacious sites, the woods were beautiful and more wilderness than I had hoped for! You might carve out a foot path shortcut to the main building from back site. Would stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic! Very helpful and happy. The pool was clean, warm and perfect because our weather was a little chilly while there!!! We were very satisfied with our stay!

Very nice campground. Grounds and facilities are kept very clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Only complaint I would have is the wi-Fi service. My husband and I both had work meetings and very spotty service.

This campground was nice and friendly, my only complaint is that I wish there were bathrooms located in the back of the park. Even if it was a vaulted toilet or Porta potty. It would make the middle of the night bathroom trips easier. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Did not like our site out front . Felt like we were in the parking lot. Could have done that at Walmart for free.

Five star was negated because we We placed next to the dumpster and the sewer hook up was below grade making it very hard to connect and have a good seal. Otherwise this was a very clean and we'll run campground. I would recommend it to others as long as you're not next to the dumpster.

The camp host was thorough in her job in enforcing the rules. She may have been a little to strict. A group of teenagers were sitting by the playground talking being quiet. The host came out 15 minutes before quiet time and ordered them back to their campsites due to quiet time. I understand she was trying to maintain order at quiet time; however, they were being quiet before quiet time arrived.

Staff was friendly and helpful upon entering. Our spot was nice and quiet in this secluded, wooded campground. It is a perfect location for checking out the local activities! The only negative were the bath houses were not well taken care of and had a lot of mud in the showers.

Showers are a little small. A Matt to stand on would be nice because the water pools outsider the shower. Otherwise very nice campground. I liked all the trees. Will most likely stay again if passing through.

I have stayed at this campground for many years - long before it was a KOA. Since it became a KOA, significant and meaningful improvements have occurred. It is a great campground and the friendly staff far exceed expectations. I cannot say enough good about this well-run establishment.

Courteous and very helpful staff made our stay wonderful. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Atmosphere was warm and friendly throughout the camp.

We had a problem in the beginning with size of site due to misinformation however Nona came through and found a spot for us so our family coulda enjoy our mini vacay!

...nice large sites-clean laundry-very efficient staff- bathrooms are clean but the showers are small and do not have enough wall hooks for hanging clothing etc while showering.

It's a nice campground. My only complaint would be cost. Very pricey. There are other campgrounds that are more reasonable. I know you need to make money but $58.00/ night is too much.

I appreciated the laundry, dog park and the pool. I was really excited about full hookup but the sites were so narrow and all gravel. I didn't want to even sit by the campfire.

Office staff were very courteous and helpful. Roads and sites are dirt and weave in among the trees. Very confusing. Clearer road and site markings would be helpful.

Overall, our stay was great! However, there were a few things that bothered us that we discussed on our way home. 1) Our site (41) basically shared a common area with the site next to us. It was really awkward, and the folks next to us basically took over the entire area. As a result we didn't get to spend too much time at our site. 2) three showers each for the entire ground was a stretch.

We loved the pool and our camping spot. There were only two bathroom showers that were full most of the time and very far from most camping spots. We usually don't use our camper shower and bathrooms but did this stay. We did like the campground and would stay again if in the area. I recommend having a public back access path to the pool and playground area and to add a back bathroom/shower.

Site had hookups spread too far apart f my 16’ trailer. Showers sub-par only a single hook to hang anything and no where to place shower kit other than the dirty wet floor. Invest as much in your shower upgrades as you did on the new deck and you may fix some of this.

The young man working the front desk was sure friendly and knowledgeable about any questions we had (fireworks, fishing, waterfalls, Hiking).

We had to rearrange our trip and the staff was excellent and very helpful. This campground has made many updates this year including leveling of the sites and all new bathrooms and showers. I cannot say enough about the great staff.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. But a few things did damper our stay. We had site #68-right next to the pool. WAY TOO MANY people walked, and even rode their bikes, through our site. We highly recommend adding a path in between sites 69 & 70 for this purpose. Also, way too many barking and unleashed dogs...one was running loose, went to the pool, and its owner took it into the pool water. Shame!

quick one night stay as we traveled around Lake Michigan. Friendly folks - CLEAN campsites. Nicely wooded to give you a little privacy in your space. Big rig friendly. A little tight on some turns, but no real issues. I appreciate they keep the overhanging branches in check.

The camp site was a wonderful location. It was close to all the site seeing we wanted to do. There were many beautiful trails and waterfalls near by. All the Staff members were amazing. I couldn't believe how truly helpful they were with everything! I would definitely go back again!!

Great KOA for fall colors. We just missed having access to the pool but nice little hikes and super close to the falls, pictured rocks and everything else we needed. Will visit again. Staff were awesome and welcoming!
