We stopped here on our way to Floride, very easy access, nice campsites and convenient store. The staff is helpful and accommodating.

Very nice and clean. The only recommendation I have is to have better (and maybe lighted) site markers. We arrived very late and had trouble finding our spot

We enjoyed our stays (2) in the last month the staff was extremely friendly and helpful always a smile and pleasant conversation the cabin is clean and warm they turn on the lights and heat when cold so it’s like walking into your own home the traffic is a little noisy but tolerable we stayed at two other KOA cabins (other locations) on our travels and cabin staff were not friendly cabin cold da

While staying there a tree limb fell on top of my auto crushing the hood and scratching the grill. An incident report was filled out by park owner. They promised to take care of the damages, but now claim it was an act of God and won’t pay. The owner of the campground is not a man of his word.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As protocol in the 37 years of ownership, we file with the insurance companies to cover damages. We have had our tree surgeons out 4 times removing limbs and trees this year and an arborist to survey. Jennifer ~

We LOVE this campground! The flower pots, the caboose & mini house, add the old time telephone booth, the picturesque mermaid, etc...its all about this place & it makes a GREAT STOP for a day, a week or a month. We always stay here on our return trip from Florida. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They also offer very good pizza and other carry out items on premises. This is very convenient and the food is great. We will always stay here and have recommended it others in our travels.

Fast one night stay over in Yemassee to see Auldbrass. Cleanest bathrooms my wife says she's ever seen at a KOA. The owners have style and seem to be connoisseurs of design due to how well this place is surprising and refreshingly appointed. Next time we come we plan on taking time to have some coffee in the Swimming Mermaid, sit in the swivel tulip chairs and get to know these folk.

Every time we stay here everything is excellent! Only issue once again, is the timing of cleaning the restrooms. They should do it later in the morning or afternoon. 8:00am is the time when people are using the restrooms before leaving.

This campground sets such a high bar, with a local beer, wine and coffee bar, along with pizza and wings, that it’s hard to rate any other campground because, now, they all seem lacking!

Very nice people. Clean campground and good bathrooms. Lots of things for the kids to do, and the pool was still open!

Only complaint is that they close the bathrooms for cleaning at 8:30am which is a busy time especially for a campground that has a lot of overnighters. It should be done at a later time.

Thank you for choosing Point South KOA. We "fluff up" the bathrooms in the morning but showers and toilets are accessible. We deep clean them around 10:30 - 12 after all have left but with toilets still accessible. We will readdress with new staff to make certain this remains protocol. Jennifer ~

Everyone was so nice, camp well maintained. Loved the pizza! Wine and beer tempted us but we never got over to partake. Blew our minds when they escorted us to site and sanitized everything we'd touch in front of us. Nice touch! Couldn't believe how many people stay only a night. We stayed 4 nights and loved it! Lots to do in area as well as at camp. Many styles of cabins available.

We have camped there many times and it is a great campground ! The staff is great ! The only complaint is the price! We stay at many KOA’s and this is the most expensive.

We are middle of the road for KOA. Your charge was discount plus uncontrollable tax. We offer 100% money back within an hour if you do not find value. Open 365 days 13 hours a day with 19 on staff, 62 channels of cable, 6 high speed wifi routers and more we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Jennifer~

Passing through from ny state in October and returning home in nov. these guys are great . So friendly and pleasant and accommodating. Only have one complaint . We bought 2 bags of wood for a campfire. Wood was soaking wet and would absolutely not burn.

Nice place for an overnight heading up/down the coast on I-95. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restrooms were well appointed and clean. There was the expected road noise coming from I-95, but no big deal. We would stay there again.

Love this KOA! Spacious sites in a quaint setting. The Mermaid coffee and wine bar is an awesome amenity. The staff is great and Jennifer the manager was so helpful and accommodating. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by 2 days right after we checked in. Unfortunately the new person at the desk put us on a pull in site that did not work for our 5th wheel. Jennifer took care of us!

Chose for its proximity to I95 for an overnight stay during our trip south for the Winter. Staff were extremely friendly and responsive to a concern we had with regard to the electric pedestal. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stop. Wine tasting,clean restrooms and showers, great laundry. Personable staff. Totally enjoyed our time there, will be stopping again.

Very nice KOA. Checkin is quick-staff very friendly-well.maintained-clean. Most sites are pull through which makes it easy to get on site. Nice pool-coffee/wine bar. Store stocked. Stayed in Nov 2021. Lots to see and do in this area. The Baker's
