Love this convenient campground off 1-95. It’s cute and charming with plenty for the kiddos to do. Great coffee and beer on tap. Already planning our next stay.

Lovely site and accommodations at this location. Our only issue was the level of noise from the interstate in close proximity.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Being 1/8 of a mile from I95 has its pros and cons. It is a non-controllable from our end. Most are not bothered by it and some put a fan on to cover the noise. Thank you for choosing Point South KOA. Happy Camping. Jennifer~

Only stayed one night but have been to this campground on many trips south. Very pleasant campground with a very friendly staff. We will be returning.

Loved the friendliness of the staff! Fun time getting pizza (pretty darn good!) & wine flight & local beer. Nice site. Will be back next year!

Nothing better than staying at a KOA. We have been camping at KOA's since 1972!. We know the difference. This KOA at Yemasse is one of the best top 5 we stayed in. Beautiful, private sites, not a "parking lot".

We were just looking for a few days of down time. Was okay since we did not plan any touristy looking or shopping. Wine bar was unique and pizza was good. Bath house clean

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are confused by your review. We are a serene woodland campground centered between Savannah, Hilton Head, Charleston and Beaufort which dates back to 1565. There are a lot of options for relaxing, trail walks, pool, or game activities plus local wine and beer on tap. Not sure what you expected.

We stayed here on our way north from Florida. The location is convenient and the facilities are clean. The site was level so we didn't have to unhook. The sites are nearby but it was fine for a night. There is road noise but we slept well using a fan and noise machine for background noise.

Very nice,polite,clean, enjoyed our stay we try to stay there when going south for the winter and when we com back north in march, problem see u in the fall.

Extremely nice. We were in a tent and the raised, pea-gravel tent pad was both comfortable and ensured that we stayed dry. The "kitchen" work table was extremely handy. The restroom was spotless and checked about every hour. There were lots of activities available though we didn't do any of them. But we did walk to the lake and see a couple of alligators! Would definitely stay here again.

Quite spacious clean campsites. easy to get on and off I 95. Close to Beaufort. Nice associates very accommodating. Have beer and pizza. Definitely would stay here again.

This was our third stay and we will be back! The staff clearly enjoy their jobs and work well together. The coffee house, wine bar and pizza is a welcome sight after a long day driving. The ground and art installations are a pleasant surprise around every corner. No wonder the are Award Winning!!! We’ll deserved!

We stayed in a lodge, and it was so lovely. We enjoyed coffed in the screened in porch, the area behind was perfect for the family and pets to enjoy with hammocks we brought, grill, and fire pit. It was clean, and everywhere we saw thoughtful details. Plenty of places to hang items in each room, perfect vacation kitchen, and we loved snuggling in with the TV and board games on the one rainy day

We love this RV park. We stay here twice a year, on the way south and on the way back north. I highly recommend it - staff are super nice and helpful and the park is clean and neat.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help and answer any questions. They escort every camper to their site. Clean bathrooms. And of course the pizza and wings was a nice treat.

We stayed here with our 2 pups on our drive to/from Florida from Massachusetts. I had never heard of KOA’s prior to this trip. I look forward to future adventures with my pups!

We stay at this campground on our way to and from Florida every year. I am exhausted and crabby at the end of the drive. Once I get to the campground, I know there will be no more hassles for that day. The staff makes sure everything goes smoothly for us. I am so grateful for this. You have no idea what a difference this makes.

Stayed here numerous times for one night stays while traveling. Easy off and on the interstate. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restrooms are clean. Campground is very well organized and beautiful with lots of trees. All they sell food which is nice after a long day on the road. Definitely will stay there again.

We stayed for one night and it was fine. Quiet. Site was W/E only, was level, long enough for our MH and toad. There were great walking paths for guests and dogs, a dog park, plus signage about the history of the area. Very interesting. They offered fresh baked pizza and wings - pizza was good. Also had local wines and beers. The store had a variety of options from food to camping supplies/gifts.

We have full hook up sites, Water and electric sites as well. Make a reservation early if you want full hook up those are always the first to go. Happy camping. Jennifer ~

This was a short stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Love this campground!! Cabins are comfy, clean, and well stocked. My cockatoo loves his stroller rides around the beautiful campground. Chicken and pizza are always delicious. Nice having a wine bar at the campground too - don't find that often :) The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Just overnight this time.(3rd time). Had an accurate/problem/spill @ the dump station your crew was beyond awesome/helpful with it! ( pretty embarrassing for an experienced camper!). The patio site we had was awesome! ( not what we would usually get but very nice). Point South is always on our list for traveling south down 17 as we do. Thanks again for another great stay!

We were here for 6 days and liked being in the woods. Site was good, cable was far from the coach, but was a nice corner. Staff was great and friendly. enjoyed the wine and beer bar. Wings were great. We did have trouble with cable and staff was very helpful. We found it was our coach and tech helped us determine the exact problem. Did hear I 95 in the mornings and there is a drive to store

Fantastic stop. Wine tasting,clean restrooms and showers, great laundry. Personable staff. Totally enjoyed our time there, will be stopping again.

Very nice KOA. Checkin is quick-staff very friendly-well.maintained-clean. Most sites are pull through which makes it easy to get on site. Nice pool-coffee/wine bar. Store stocked. Stayed in Nov 2021. Lots to see and do in this area. The Baker's
