Well maintained, people at the front desk, people at the breakfast/coffee/wine bar, people to direct you to your site, help you to set up at site, people to fill propane. Easy stop overnight with or without sewer hookup for I95 travels. Best KOA I know of in that area. �

This is a lovely campground to be so accessible to I-95. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We certainly enjoyed the pizza and wine time in the evenings where you could visit with other campers. Highly recommend a stay here!!

Very nice place. We have a 32 foot, Class C. Easy to back in. Nice place to take walks. Very secure and safe feeling. well lit. Bathrooms are clean. Shower has great water pressure - nice hot water. We are here during Feb. 2022. Pool looks great - but it is not pool weather.

Stay here about twice per year on our way back from Florida. Great over night stop. Pizza, Wings and Wine Bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom is so clean. The sites are a little skimpy on grass and big on dirt. Rainy days / nights can be awfully messy. Upgrades have been noticed. I would not hesitate to stop here for a 1 nighter again and again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We constantly add grass seed and fertilizer to sites including in the last 3 weeks. Rain, cold and people running over the yards makes it challenging like snow in the north. We will continue to work on staying ahead. Happy travels. Jennifer ~

The sites are nice and level, the staff is amazing and the wine bar was lots of fun and the pizza is amazing. This is a great spot, would highly recommend!!!!

We host 34' fifth wheels and Motor homes towing in site 23 with no complaint throughout the years. Your 23' trailer should have had plenty of room and girth. We would have been happy to move you to a site that you would have liked if available. Open 13 hours a day please let us know while here. Jen

Been overnighting here for years on north and southbound journeys on I95, it’s looking the best I’ve seen it! It has made to order Hunt Brothers Pizza, and my favorite…..wine tasting almost every night I’ve stayed there, top it off with unique coffee bar in the morning! You have a relaxing end of your traveling day and a fresh startup in the morning!

This is a nice campground with several amenities. I rated it as I did because I believe that political symbolism should not be displayed in public camping grounds.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Set in the heart of historic Americana we date back to 1565. The Battle map on loan from Parris Island museum where our brave marines train shows the battles fought by our own for our freedom. As a privately owned camp it has not been a problem in the years hung. We wish you well on your travels.JDM

We arrived at 11:30pm at night and we did not have a packet telling us where to go! There was no phone number for us to call and ask. We called during the day to make sure that we would have the information needed. They assured us that the information would be waiting for us. There was nothing there! We took a chance and just parked in an empty spot. There should always be an after hours phone #

Our sincere apologies for missing that late night map being put out for you. That is highly irregular. I know that was frustrating after a long day on the road. Open 365 days a year 13 hours a day, sadly but not often, errors happen. We are thankful there was an opening. Jennifer ~

Great campground close to I95 and super staff. Very accommodating we had to change plans due to weather and they had no issues helping us out. Didn’t get to try the wine or pizza but very unique for a campground. Great walking trails and lake too.

One of the best KOAs we have ever stayed at. They have the most friendly and professional staff that are always looking for a way to be helpful. Having the on-site pizza and wings with beer and wine doesn’t hurt. Will definitely come back to stay when we are in the area.

We stayed with you two years ago and decided to come back on our way back to Ohio from Florida. We enjoy your cabins, they are very �� homey. My only complaint would be the bed is small and not real comfortable. I also would like to see you remove the tree stump by the light in the parking area as it could be a tripping hazard at night.

The primitive cabins throughout KOA are the same design and thickness. So be aware that majority of your stay will be the same for you. Open 365 days with the cabins rented consistently we rarely hear of a complaint in this regard. We will check the stump. Happy travels. Jennifer

Our stay was absolutely incredible and very relaxing. When we reserved our stay, we originally reserved for kabin #K2. Upon check in, we were placed in kabin #K3. Not sure how that mix up happened, but overall, a very nice stay. Keep up the awesome job!!

We always stay at Point South for a night going to/ from florida. For years we have encountered wonderful staff, spotless restrooms, well maintained sites and wings, pizza, and a wine flight after a long day on the road. We try to get there i times for a nice walk around the lake to stretch our legs. A great KOA

Staff was awesome! When I called they were able to accommodate us (Class A 37’ pulling a 15’ cargo trailer!) We we’re led to our site where they cleaned & sanitized our water hookup & invited us to Check out their coffee shop! A salted caramel cappuccino for me and a Biltmore Pinot for my husband!! So quaint!! We will return!!

Very nice KOA. Checkin is quick-staff very friendly-well.maintained-clean. Most sites are pull through which makes it easy to get on site. Nice pool-coffee/wine bar. Store stocked. Stayed in Nov 2021. Lots to see and do in this area. The Baker's
