We only stayed overnight, because we were trying to beat the storm home. Rebecca who registered us was great. We even ordered the pizza that she suggested.

Campground was clean, had nice public bath/shower facilities, and had good amenities (wi-fi-cable, full hookups). I would not stay here again or recommend it due to it's proximity to I-95 traffic and the constant overnight noise from traffic.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Most guests during our 39 years open 13 hours a day are not bothered. That is a non controllable and can be covered with fan noise. We wish you well on your travels. Jennifer ~

It was the perfect place for us to overnight on our way back home. It could be a good spot off the coast to do some low country sightseeing as well but we just were there to rest. Price was a bit higher than I hoped to pay in 26 degree weather in January. However, it was convenient to I-95 and the online booking and check in process was easy. Staff was cordial. Would stop there again.

Great location between Savannah and Charleston. The staff was incredibly friendly and the wine and coffee bars are a nice touch!

This is our 7th year staying on our way to Florida and back home again. We like this KOA a lot and always stay for 2 days for a little break off the road. I would highly recommend this KOA.

Cabin was immaculate.,everything was provided that was needed.,special touches in the cabin made it very homey. Pizza and wine was excellent. Staff was also excellent. Great for dogs. Will definitely be back.

I always stay at a tent site. Yesterday I saw that they replaced the fire pits with fire grills! So now I can enjoy not only a tent site fire, but swivel the grill and enjoy my meal instead of bringing my portable grill. Way to go! And this was just when I thought it couldn’t get better than phenomenal.

As always..helpful courteous staff. Clean restrooms/showers..great pizza and wine. Love the walking path around the pond.. Stay every year on the way to Florida..highly recommended

Everyone was very nice. We did have to move to a different site because the stand was too far away from the camper for our electric cord to reach. However, the gentleman that led us to our site worked with the office to put us on another site that worked out ok. We really appreciated all his help and how accommodating they were at the campground.

The campground was exactly as advertised. We’ve been to KOA’s in 30+ states and this may be the best. Beautiful setting, perfect condition, super friendly and helpful staff all play a role in this review.

The staff was very welcoming and the site was a lovely pull through. The resort was extremely well maintained and naturally attractive. We loved the nature trail. The bathrooms were spectacularly cleaned and sanitized. Beautiful place�

It would have been nice to have a list of surrounding restaurants.

We do have a list of restaurants, info on Beaufort, Charleston and more at the bistro where the front desk would have been happy to help guide you. Open 365 days a year 8 am - 9 pm just inquire at the desk about any need. Thank you for camping with us. Jennifer ~

The campground was immaculate and the workers stayed on top of everything. The staff was friendly and helpful anyway they could be. Just an overall amazing time and experience. Thank you for all of their hard work and keeping things in order.

Our stay was too short, but we had other places to get to. The Staff there was fantastic, and the campground was great. We may stop there again on our wat back North. Enjoyed it very much.

Great wings! Did not like the Interstate traffic. Nice layout for campground.

Sadly, we can not move the interstate. We are 1/8 of a mile from I95 which has its pros and cons. Winter months with no leaves make the traffic clearer too. Again, it is beyond our control and not a bother to most. Thank you for choosing Point South KOA. Happy camping. Jennifer ~

This will be a must stop from now on! So friendly! Check in was super fast and friendly..thank you Kate. We were escorted to our cabin and settled in...thank you Allie. We were checked, unpacked, and had hot pizza & wings with a wonderful cold local brew in 20 minutes. The decor was so homey and the facilities were so clean. It is obvious these owners/managers really care. Can't wait to go back!

Had to leave our Disney trip a day early which made us sad. I wanted one last beer at Epcot. We left Disney around 11a, and pulled into the koa around 5..got all hooked up and went to the office for a cold red ale,hot pizza and great conversation with staff and fellow travelers. All was good with the world. Got a great night's rest and hit the road for a 11 hr. trip home to beat the winter storm.

Fantastic stop. Wine tasting,clean restrooms and showers, great laundry. Personable staff. Totally enjoyed our time there, will be stopping again.

Very nice KOA. Checkin is quick-staff very friendly-well.maintained-clean. Most sites are pull through which makes it easy to get on site. Nice pool-coffee/wine bar. Store stocked. Stayed in Nov 2021. Lots to see and do in this area. The Baker's
