It was our very first time RVing across the county and hooking up power and sewer. The staff was very helpful and even escorted us our camp site and walked us through step by step to hook up. The facility was very clean.

We enjoyed really enjoyed our stay at the Rapid City KOA. The pool was excellent and we spent a few hours there each afternoon. The pool alone was worth the stay. The campground was nice and well kept and you would never know it was so close to the city. Our only complaint was how the sewer drains were in the neighboring campsites so we had our neighbors sewer hose in our campsite.

Showed up at 12:35 PM and was told to go sit in our motorhome until 1:00PM. As we traveled around Rapid City and visited the Mt. Rushmore area we discovered many other options for RV parking which we will try next time through Rapid City. You have one lady that conducts business like Attila the Hun. Other than that, the Rapid City KOA was a typical nice KOA Sincerely, Dennis Smith

The KOA workers were great. The campsites ate way to close together. The men's bathroom near the office had a lot of problems & was often not usable. They need more bathhouses

Very friendly staff. Sites are more open and not slide-to-slide. Campsite has two parks, pool, hot tub, and even a little automotive train for the kids to ride! Pancake breakfast was great and the cooks ensured that all the children stayed away from the grill. Would definitely stay at Rapid City/Black Hills KOA again!

Kids loved the pool! They also spent all their money in the game room. Nice and clean private showers. Friendly staff, everyone at the campsite also seemed very friendly and there were no issues with late night noises or early morning rowdy ness. Great tent camping experience! We will be back!

Very welcoming. Our air mattress lost its cap and a worker/camper lent us one. I was very impressed and would highly recommend staying again!!

Just ok. The good: good location, pads are level, it's pretty quiet, the power & water are good, staff are nice but overworked. The bad: Fairly crowded, the community showers are very small and not terribly clean, and worst of all the bathrooms are closed 11:00-1:00, which makes those last-minute potty stops after you check out by 11:00 completely impossible.

Nice sites (could use a little more trees for shade), very friendly staff, very helpful and if you needed help with something they were right there, would highly recommend, thank you for everything.

Very nice campground. Loved the long, flat pull thru we were on. Easy in and out and centrally located for the places we wanted to go. Nice clean restrooms and campground store. Just a couple of suggestions. First, the lights need fixed on the flags at the entrance or lower the American flag from dusk to dawn. Wish our pull thru #120 had shade on the west side. Late afternoon sun was brutal.

The campground was in a great location, and offer car rentals on property! The pool and playground was very nice! The sites were spacious and had concrete pads. We very much enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommend it!

Too tight for a 45 ft. trailer on Poplar street. I saw other bigger sites and that’s really the only place big ones should go. Since my trailer is big some of the trees needed to be trimmed. It was nice otherwise but I won’t stay again unless I know which site I’m in.

We loved the pool area. It helps make up for our site that was just a dirt area with no grass or trees. It wasn’t planned well because the trees in the other spaces were on the end that gave shade during the morning but not in the evenings when needed. Because the internet tower was in our space, we couldn’t get service. We think it’s ridiculous to have to pay extra for kids sleeping in camp

Everything about our stay was top notch - including pancake breakfasts! The only bummer of our stay was that we had a great view of the *almost* open pool! We'll have to make a trip out west again soon!

Awesome breakfast and showers off of that area. Tent site was in a run off area and it rained. Lots of noise, but we persevered!

We stayed in the 1 room cabin. 2 adults and 1 kid. Our son loved it! He couldn’t get enough of how cool our cabin was. He slepted in 2 different bunk beds LOL. We loved how comfortable and clean the cabin was when we arrived. AC worked normal, love the layout. Camp ground was clean. Awesome staff. Bathroom and showers were great. Pool and playground areas are a bonus.

Enjoyed our stay here. The campground is spotless. They have a nice pool in the Summer, spotless bathrooms and showers, a game room and a laundry. But the best part was the people who own the place were some of the nicest people we met. I highly recommend this campground.
