We were very upset that we were told you had a pool but it was closed while we were there. My kids were even more upset. Other than that we loved our stay there. The people were great. I gave you 5 stars because of the stay. If I rated how upset we were about the pool, then I would have given 1 star. The pool was closed because you were replacing the fence. We wouldn't be upset if we were told.

Our stay was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept and the pool was very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious, too!

Check-in was very slow (almost 45 minutes). Assigned spot next to the pool that was practically a construction zone. Our picnic table had been moved away so a dirt path could be used by forklifts and tractors that remained at our site during our entire stay. Neighbor said prior campers had complained to no avail. Would not have accepted if there had not been an escort.

Manager was incredibly rude. Showed no desire to be accommodating or provide basic human understand. Out group had multiple interactions with her during our stay and each was equal as bad. It one point she and her staff were quite insulting to one member of my party. I've never stayed at a KOA or any other campground where the management was so annoyed and put out to have people there.

The bathrooms and cabin were clean and well maintained but it was so loud at night. Kids were in the pool and playground after 10:30pm. Maybe update your quiet hours policy to reflect what actually happens.

We had a wonderful time. We had everything we needed and the kids had so much fun at the pool and playgrounds when we were back at camp.

Nice camp ground! We really enjoyed our visit. The only thing I could complain about is the neighboring campers on the last night having a party and being loud after 10pm. But people and people and the KOA itself was nice!

It was a nice campground but was a little crowded for us. The location of the campground would not be something we would do again. Otherwise the stay was good. It was centrally located and that's what we were looking for.

The staff is amazing here. They are willing to help out when in need and stick by your side till the need for help is complete. The campground is clean, neat, and centrally located and just overall a great place to stay. My family and I will definitely be returning here. Thanks for a great stay!

The only thing I would improve would be access to trash cans or dumpsters within the campground.

Beautiful place. So up to date and clean. Most of the staff was friendly. The only request would be to not allow children in the hot tub as it's not really for cannon balls, enforce rules of kids running wild and getting into others things, playing around vehicles and enforce dog owners picking up after their dog. We saw many many dogs poop wherever and it wasn't picked up. Thanks

After traveling 300 miles to get to the Rapid City KOA and arriving at 12:30 pm, the female at the register made us wait until 1:00 pm to get registered. She made it very clear that no one registers before 1:00 pm. When she did assign us to a KOA space, she wrote down our space number as 149, then directed us to site 148 on the map. If I were you, I would fire her, she is incompetent.

Our stay was great! Staff were friendly and organized and the campground is incredible. Our pull through site was perfect and the patio furniture was amazing!!

Campground nice although we were a bit disappointed with our particular campsite. It was a nice pull through and level. They were working on pool which was near our site. Road next to us was very dusty. The two sites near the pool should not have been rented. If it had not been for the we would have given the campground the highest rating. Pancake breakfast at pavilion was great.

Rapid city KOA is our favorite campground to stay at!!! The staff is always great and always plenty for our kids to do.

Easy access to Rapid City and Custer State Park. We stayed in a cabin which was clean with comfortable beds. My kids loved the upper bunks. Very nice pool and hot tub. There's a daily breakfast that was delicious, filling, and the cheapest meal we had in two weeks traveling. There are playgrounds, outdoor chess or checkers, and basketball court. I great place to stay!

This was my 3rd time back in the last 6 years or so and the people that work there are top shelf! Kind, friendly, salt of the earth! They worked hard and the campground really shows, especially the bathrooms and showers! But the flower beds, site grooming and pool were all just excellently taken care of as well! Thanks for another great stay!

We decided to stay here on our way to Wyoming and let the kids play in the pool. We were so disappointed that they closed the pool right when we got there. There had been some lightening and some rain came through, but there was plenty of time to open it after it went through and they didn't. The sites are really packed in, so your neighbors are really close. Otherwise the campground is fine.

We were so disappointed in this campground! While it was well kept and maintained, the location was terrible. It was on a very busy road which was noisy and no view. Also for an older campground, there were no mature trees. It was 97 degrees and the pool was closed and the laundry room was not air conditioned. There are hundreds of campgrounds in this area. This would be my last choice.

Wish we had been informed ahead of time that the pool was closed. It was very hot the week we were there and the kids were looking forward to swimming. But on the up side the breakfast were outstanding.

Very nice campground. Clean and pleasant. Easy access to all tourist attractions. Campers (who I know you cannot control} were all great. No one was loud and everyone observed quiet hours.

Great campground that you can tell they care about! New pool is amazing. Laundry is a bit expensive in my opinion when the spots are already expensive.

Campground and pool were great, but upon trying to check in 45 minutes early (1pm check in) I was told that I either had to sit in their overflow area or go to Walmart, no early check ins and those were the only two options (huh?). There were 2 other Rvs who were told the same thing, we all sat in overflow. None of us felt like this KOA was very welcoming. Left a bad impression for all of us.

Enjoyed our stay here. The campground is spotless. They have a nice pool in the Summer, spotless bathrooms and showers, a game room and a laundry. But the best part was the people who own the place were some of the nicest people we met. I highly recommend this campground.
