The campground was in a great location, and offer car rentals on property! The pool and playground was very nice! The sites were spacious and had concrete pads. We very much enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommend it!

Too tight for a 45 ft. trailer on Poplar street. I saw other bigger sites and that’s really the only place big ones should go. Since my trailer is big some of the trees needed to be trimmed. It was nice otherwise but I won’t stay again unless I know which site I’m in.

We loved the pool area. It helps make up for our site that was just a dirt area with no grass or trees. It wasn’t planned well because the trees in the other spaces were on the end that gave shade during the morning but not in the evenings when needed. Because the internet tower was in our space, we couldn’t get service. We think it’s ridiculous to have to pay extra for kids sleeping in camp

Everything about our stay was top notch - including pancake breakfasts! The only bummer of our stay was that we had a great view of the *almost* open pool! We'll have to make a trip out west again soon!

Awesome breakfast and showers off of that area. Tent site was in a run off area and it rained. Lots of noise, but we persevered!

All was good. Poll was closed due to maintenance but the breakfast served was quick, convenient, and very affordable. I recommend it!

What an amazing campground!! Conveniently located, clean, clean, clean, and well managed! The staff is friendly and helpful ~ especially Carla, who helped our group of 50+ with dates and sites and helped make our stay absolutely awesome!! Love this beautiful campground and it's helpful staff. It's obvious that the owners & management really cares about the guests! Totally felt welcomed!

A perfect location for exploring the Black Hills area. Pleasant, quick check-in. Decent spacing between units. Had an upgraded spot with concrete patio and furniture. It was great! Highly recommend the pancake breakfast that has other hot items available, too. Inexpensive food that was yummy. If you like biscuits and gravy, try theirs! Overall, a very nice KOA.

Your neighbors are the most inconsiderate group of people one can imagine. Continuous fireworks for 5 hours straight for 2 nights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they want to shoot off that many, why don't they go out into the country????????????????????

It was a nice place to stay while seeing Mt Rushmore. Showers had nice water PSI. I would stay there again.

The campground is beautiful and the amenities are wonderful. I work online and the Wi-Fi is excellent. Staff is very polite and accommodating! Thank you!

Big park with lots of people but the staff has it all very together and organized. The amenities were top notch and have been hard to live up to on our other KOA stops. Private showers with lock. Clean bathroom. Great store. We didn’t get to do the breakfast but the menu looked awesome. Site was comfortable with great seating. Best stop of our trip.

The campground was very nice and most of the people were great. Unfortunately there were 2 women working the front desk that had an attitude.

Laundry is very small. Only 3 dryers and 2 out of service. Other laundry has no air conditioning so you wait for clothes while sweating. Then there is the Pet Fee per day that is not charged at any other KOA I’ve been in this country for last 2 years. Your KOA is the only one that charged for a pet and for what? I will give a review everywhere on KOA and google alerting others to stay elsewhere.

The staff at this KOA was fantastic. We had problems with our pick up, but they we able to extend our stay. They also had a rental vehicle that enabled us to go to the sites we had planned on visiting. They were fantastic. Lovely facility & great people! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this location.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. They made arrangements for us at the last minute. Great first time experience and will consider starting at other KOA sites.

Very nice place to stay. Easy access to interstate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sites were big enough for our 45ft toy hauler. Would definitely stay again at this place.

Then entrance to the campground is narrow, and the turn both in from and out onto SD-44 is difficult for a large unit. The campsites are too short to comfortably hold a motorhome towing a car, or a truck towing a fifth wheel. Further a large proportion of the sites are only 30A

Easy in - easy out, the staff was helpful. The shower and bathrooms were clean. We participated in the breakfast offering, and it was delicious and very inexpensive, and even better no dishes to do. Loved it.

Nice campground, though sites tend to be close and short. I had to park my tow vehicle sideways as I noticed quite a few others did also. Good access for all the activities around the Black Hills area. G-kids loved the playground and pool. Pancake breakfast was great and you can't beat the cost!

I'm not a complainer but...cross country RV trip stopped here to see Mt. Rushmore. On check in placed in a site. Was totally set up and leaving the site to visit Mt. Rushmore then told I was put in the wrong site and had to move. Lost about an hour of my vacation time at Mt. Rushmore to move sites. My only compensation for the mistake was a 3$ pancake breakfast...very disappointed in the remedy.

We had a medical emergency while on vacation and the staff here made arrangements for us to get a camp spot on very short notice. They were wonderful and went above and beyond in their concern and assistance for us during this extended stay in the Rapid City area. I can't thank them enough for their help.

Rapid City KOA met our needs for a convenient, one- night stop on our cross-country trip. The facilities were fine, the staff friendly, and we liked the effort and effect of the pancake breakfast. But the almost tree-less sparse environment was not as attractive as some other KOAs where we stayed recently.

Enjoyed our stay here. The campground is spotless. They have a nice pool in the Summer, spotless bathrooms and showers, a game room and a laundry. But the best part was the people who own the place were some of the nicest people we met. I highly recommend this campground.
