Easy on off Rt 80 - super friendly and helpful staff/owners. Very clean laundromat. Didn’t use showers so can’t comment but based on everything else, I would assume they’re very clean and neat.

The people that runs this are very friendly and professional, willing to help at anytime. There are not a lot of creature comforts but they are working on improving everything right now. The spaces are good size for big rigs and ample size in between sites. Will be staying there again.

Small campground with everything we needed.. Overnight stay was quiet. All facilities were very clean.

we were simply appalled by several characteristics of our stay from no shade trees, no noise or wind barrier from the interstate, to the wrong information we received from employees, and to top it off two showers were out of order and at least one each day was FILTHY! we love KOA and our kids are in Rawlins but we will not be coming back. The terrain of the sites was terribly graded

Rawlins WY is, unfortunately, in the high dessert. We have planted 45+ trees to the south side of our park. These trees do not help much right now but in about 5 to 10 we hope they will help with the noise some.

The sites need to be graded better. They were very unleveled. They appeared they were attempting to do that but still need lots of work. It was hard to even walk around our camper. The weather was bad when we were there so didn’t get out and walk around much to visit the amenities.

You are correct our sites are far from perfect and yes we are constantly working to improve them. Our grading time is very limited as checkout is 11 and we often have people checking in before the park is empty from the night before. We are doing all we can to level sites.

Adequate place for that overnight stay while traveling. Convenient to I80. Pool has been filled with concrete and converted to a splash pad...hmmmm.

Perfect for an overnight stop. It's right off the interstate so there is a good bit of traffic noise. Sites are fairly close with no shade. We came in late & left early without unhooking, so we didn't see or interact with the staff. Gave 4 stars as we were placed in a smaller site than what we reserved, and ended up sticking out on both ends. Not a big issue as we were only there a few hours.

Very nice family run KOA journey. They do a very good job of accommodating one night travelers. The Wi-Fi was 70 MBS. It had everything we needed for a brief stop before moving onto the next destination. I really appreciated everything especially the extremely level sites.

Truthfully, we arrived late so parked in the “boondocks.” So we didn’t see much of the park. It looks like a nice park - it’s KOA so has to be good! We would stay here again, calling sooner to get an actual site, and we recommend this KOA!

We don't usually go into Rawlins as its is rather remote. The facility was okay, disappointed there was no pool as it was very hot and dusty. Our 40 foot motorhome and car barely fit on the pull-thru site that is for big rigs. Our motorhome is 40 feet.

It would be nice to have pull down seat in shower, so you can get dressed without having to stand the whole time. I'm handicap and had a very hard time.

Showers everything falling off walls too small ..highway noise

I'm not sure what was "falling off the wall" in the shower, I did check and could not find any damage. We do have a handicap restroom and shower available if you required more room.

Nice staff member checked us in. Very clean bathrooms. Would be nice if there were more trees for shade since it was very hot.

Sadly we are in the high desert, it is very difficult to grow trees. We do have a bunch planted but it will be several years for them to come up.

We weren’t planning on staying but decided to take a rest from driving. We didn’t have reservations but they had a spot for us, only issue with that was it was hot from traveling and the 30 amp electric wasn’t enough to power both AC. Would have preferred 50, but they may have been out so it was ok.

Unfortunately our 50 amp site fill pretty fast as most RVs now do better with them, I know this was an unplanned stop so I know its hard to reserve in advance.

This park is a filthy mess with unlevel sites, only 30 AMP and CLEARLY only used for touch & go stops. The whole place smells like oil from the nearby refineries. I would suggest saving the money and stay at a Walmart.

Unfortunately all of our 50 amp sites were booked before you called or arrived. We are working on leveling all sites but this is an on going process. We hope that you will stop by in the future and see some of the improvements we are trying to make.

Stopped over on our way to Grand Tetons. Perfect stopover point, everything worked, didn't have to unhook so got on the road early.

Decent campground especially if just staying one night. Our sight was not level at all but we managed. Not much for kids to do compared to other Kao’s. But with all that said we enjoyed our visit.

KOA could do a better job with leveling their sites, put a little money in making your parks look better, more gravel less sand-dirt

This is a very basic KOA. Grounds are gravel and few trees. Not very appealing but as a thru to your destination spot, it got the job done. Young man who checked me in was very pleasant.

Thank you for your comments. We are trying to grow trees, we planted over 40 in the 3 months we have owned the park. Unfortunately we are in a desert region of Wyoming and it is very difficult to grow much.

We were in Rawlins under duress, having lost a transmission on Elk Mountain. We were ultimately towed to the KOA after being told that they could squeeze us in for a night or two. Well it turned out that Jacob ended up finding us room for almost a week. Kind gestures were offered during the entire time we were at the campground. Good People!

We stayed here in a snow storm, the owner plowed for us, the restrooms and showers were very clean, and a very convenient stop off of 80 with propane fill, great WiFi, and even a doggie play yard! Lots of extras we appreciated!
