great place to stay.

We got in late and left the next morning so didn’t have much interaction with staff or get to check out any of the facilities but the dog run. This area was well taken care of. The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the park itself leaves a lot to be desired. Even though the spots are gravel and pretty level. The spaces between are pretty much dirt which is OK??? unless it rained

Great for an overnight stay which is all we needed. The office recommended a local steak house that produced prime rib eyes that were as good or better than the $75+ steaks available at the big city big name steak houses.

First time staying at a KOA. Was not really impressed, based on advertised image and reputation. I expected a little more, and was somewhat disappointed... No grass anywhere, Very few trees, the store didn't even have toilet paper, office stated it would be late 2020 or 2021 before any was available. Toilet paper is something you can't wait that long for, lol... Ended up going to Walmart!

Got us a great spot close to the dog park and close to the showers and bathrooms. Clean camp and facilities.

Right alongside the I-80, so convenient to access, however there was no staff on duty in the office, it was closed from 11 am until 3 pm. We arrived at noon, found our site number in the slot outside the office. The site was adequate as far as length, but just barely so. We needed a stop on our journey and this fit the bill, but no frills, no sense that anyone cared.

Facilities were nice but there was no grass for the kiddos to play in. I understand high desert area since we live in one but patches of grass for the kiddos would be nice.

The park isn't very pretty. It could use some work, adding more trees, bushes, etc. The electrical hookup needed replaced, really loose socket. There's really nothing to see or do in Rawlins, this campground is appropriate to stay overnight and move on to your next destination. For that purpose, it's good. Arrive Late, Leave Early Yall. "ALLEY" campground.

Because of a major bicycle race and road closures at our previous overnight city, we were forced to leave at 6 am thus arrived at Rawlins KOA at 11:30 am. I called ahead to see if we could check in before the 1:00 pm check in time. I was told no. We parked at a truck stop for an hour and a half. When we checked in at 1:00, the RV park was literally empty. Dirty, weedy, noisy, staff was unfriendly

It was noisy and right off the highway. I didn't like that the bathrooms were separate from the showers and no place to sit in the shower room - very tiny. Cabin charge was pretty high plus pet fee was three times a normal pet fee and they didn't allow pets on beds - so why the high fee? I stay at a lot of KOAs. It was clean - I do appreciate that. I will be avoiding this one in the future $$$.

We were there one night-just passing thru. There were to large piles of dog poop in our site. Please clean sites after others leave.

Although the campground itself was okay, it was just average. Plus, it was challenging to navigate a larger rig within the campground cz of the set-up of privacy fences for tables on sites. I know there is nothing that the campground can do to fix this last issue, but the surrounding area REALLY detracts from the campground. Perhaps one large privacy fence surrounding the campground perimeter?

The staff at Rawlins KOA were so helpful! This was our first time ever stopping with an RV and they helped us with our hookups and answered all our first-timer questions! Beautiful view! Quiet and so clean!

Got in at 6:00 pm and the office/store was closed. Were able to pick a site but it had no sewer hook up, when we left in the morning, there were 4 to other RV’s in line at the dump station....we had to get on the road so we’re unable to dump.

No fault of KOA Rawlins but snowstorm and icy winds made our stay rough. We couldn’t use the water because of the temperature and never located the sewer because of the snow and ice.

The sites are positively awful. It's a dirt and weed lot with 40-year-old dilapidated picnic tables. There is no shade. I'd rather just be in a Walmart parking lot or rest area. We stayed at 6 KOAs on our cross country trip. They were all great - except this one. We actually sat at our site for 10 minutes, then decided to leave and drive to Rock Springs. The KOA there was much, much nicer.

We are traveling across country from west to East and stopped at the Rawlins KOA. Very nice staff and although we are in a very dry area and the lack of any green grass the campground was very pleasant. The surrounding scenery was nice. Great sunset!!

There is no shade and you are practically on the freeway. The bathrooms are very clean. The horseshoe pit is overgrown and not maintained. I would drive a long way to avoid this KOA. There are things that can’t be improved but what can stand great improvement is the customer service. It is so poor. We felt as though we were an intrusion. There is another spot a short distance up the road.

We stayed here in a snow storm, the owner plowed for us, the restrooms and showers were very clean, and a very convenient stop off of 80 with propane fill, great WiFi, and even a doggie play yard! Lots of extras we appreciated!
