Ok for a one nighter, but the pull thrus aren’t long enough for both fifth wheel and truck. Mostly stone and dust with some weeds and a little grass....

Great restrooms and office. The campground itself is not very level and is very dusty. Needs work. Don't expect paved spots but I do expect a that a premium pull through is level enough not to have my front wheels off the ground.

Not big rig friendly. I made reservations a few months in advance and said we were 62' long overall. We got there and barely fit. The guy that took us to the site was weird. He said fire trucks & ambulances come thru all hours and if they hit you it's not our fault. He came by after we were set up and said you may need to move up& then he remembered that he was the one who parked us.

We have stayed at the Rawlins KOA before. And will probably stay there again. The Ladies at the front desk were very understanding and helpful. And willing to keep the store open a few minutes after normal closing for me to buy ice. Thank you. I really enjoy the compassion and family atmosphere.

It is a very basic campground with no trees and not a lot of vegetation, but that is typical of that area of Wyoming. It is conveniently near the interstate and less expensive than many. Most of its sites were pull-through and small but adequate for someone traveling and needing a spot for the night. We did not use any of the common facilities, so cannot comment on them. They were friendly.

The best we can say is the hook ups worked. However, the campground was mostly dirt with a little gravel. The sites were not level and had dry dead weeds in the sites instead of grass.

Store hours were limited. There is a pile of dog poo next to our water hookup. It smelled terrible. Laundry room was awesome!

Nice people there. Main office area is pretty but the grounds are so dry like a desert. We did sleep well. Also, arriving south on highway 287 ....please note my GPS sent us under a train trestle which we barely got thru. 13 ft. High. We are 12'6" and we scraped our radio antenna. Can KOA send a notice that motorhomes should not go that route??

The Journey KOA's are definitely supposed to be one night only. The KOA itself was very well kept, clean and had all the services you need and Rawlins has the rest. The issue is the proximity to the interstate. I listened to the semi trucks illegally braking for 4 nights and the equally annoying harley riders during the day. It wasn't a bad place, just noisy. Unlikely I'll stay there again.

Due to virus condition check in was excellent. Travel sites are not level so could not get my motorhome level in site #15. Ok for overnight.

It’s Wyoming, not a lot of choices. Site was hard to get into. Website says sites are 68ft. We are 58ft from front of truck to back of 5th wheel. We didn’t have enough space. Had to park beside site, and had to pull up so far to get out of road that could not hook up sewer. Site with wind break, do not help break any wind. Don’t spend extra money to stay there. This site seemed rather dated and the parts of the facility we used seemed a little run down. We didn't go into the main building. Kind of felt like we were parked in a middle of a gravel parking lot that had water and power hook ups. Thank goodness we were passing through as one night was enough. We have stayed at many KOA over the years and this would have to be one of the worst I've stayed at.

More could really be done to make this an attractive KOA. The staff were friendly and helpful. I realize there's only so much one can do about the physical location of this KOA; however, adding (and watering) more green (vegetation, grass, etc.) could really soften the harshness of this locale.

Easy access to the freeway. Clean. WiFi could use a boost. � All in all, great. The KOA Journey parks we’ve found to be fantastic for a quick overnight stay.

This is a nice, clean RV park. It's only shortcoming is lots of dirt and dusty. If this park was paved or had more gravel it would be perfect.

Didn't really care for this site, too much gravel everywhere and weeds. Although a good spot if you just want to sleep and get on the road again. Easy access to Interstate and also a gas station.

We stayed here in a snow storm, the owner plowed for us, the restrooms and showers were very clean, and a very convenient stop off of 80 with propane fill, great WiFi, and even a doggie play yard! Lots of extras we appreciated!
