This KOA is definitely below average. Dusty, gravel, not level sites with power towers in the wrong location (too far from the back of the site). We did very much appeciate the cable service so we could watch the Olympics but it was not advertised and I was told to try it and see "if it works"....it did work. Just not an attractive place.

Horrible spaces bathrooms dirty. Might as well stay at a roadside rest stop! Completely useless

I requested a pull thru 50 amp motorhome with 4 slides, towing car. We had site #18 which is too short for 45 foot towing. Campground is very dusty, gravel, never see any improvements from one year to the next. We will skip Rawlins KOA in the future.

Sites level, staff friendly and helpful. No fire pit. This is a stop over and it excels in this function. it is close to the freeway so close up or wear ear plugs I would rate it as a 4.5 stars

Thank you for your comments. Please be aware we are planting trees to absorb some of the road noise but this will take several year to help. The road is a trade off close to the interstate for easy on and off but the down side is added noise.

This was a decent place to stay overnight, and improvements are being made at this location, but overall, it felt a little rundown. The concrete picnic table pads are a great addition! However, we barely fit into our space even though it should have been spacious for our truck and trailer. The splash pad was not open because of drought, which I understand but was still a bummer for the kids.

Thank you for the comments. My family just purchased the park and are trying to get it back up to standard. Unfortunately this is a long process and our time is limited as we have guests on ground at all times. We hope you will consider stopping by in the future to let us know how we are doing.

Our site was right next to the interstate. Late in the evening a woman told my husband that they were assigned the site we were in. We showed her our card with the number and the office person assigned them the site after we were given the spot. We were happy to have found a KOA that wasn't filled.

Please immediately notify a member of staff at any hour day or night if someone is in your site or tries to come into your site!! WE DO NOT DOUBLE BOOK. If this happens managers need to be notified right away to handle the situation.

An overnight stop on way east from Twin Falls, Idaho to Wisconsin. Nice enough park, we don’t use bathrooms or showers, so I can’t comment. Somewhat typical, close to interstate which is convenient but also noisy. Site was slightly downhill but auto levelers handled it OK.

They showed 50 amp service but inky had 30 anp service. Causes havic with my air conditioners

unfortunately all our 50 amp sites were full by the time you arranged your stay. We are planning an expansion to add 20 more 50 amp sites in the near future.

In both places the desk people and grounds people were very helpful, nice, and just so pleasant. I will definitely stY in these campgrounds again!

The location has easy freeway access and is close to a Travel America truck stop. The sites are close together with limited privacy fencing and no shade. We stayed 2 nights to allow us to visit a few culturally significant historic sites.

Camp host was very helpful . Had problems with RV mirror and did not have tool to fix/ thanks to host was able to fix /camp was also very clean and everything in working order. Never have a problem with KOA

Fairly nice campground for a one night stay. We had wished it had a pool but did have a splash pad. It is located just off the interstate. No issues at all.

Right beside the onramp to I-80 with many loud trucks. WiFi and Internet were unusable, which seems to be the standard with most parks. Otherwise, being right beside I-80 made it very convenient for one night passing through.

The staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful. The laundry room is one of the best I’ve seen. Showers are a little small but ok. No fire rings or pool.

Nancy was very cooperative/supportive. My friend's RV had broken down, we got towed to the RV park at 0300. We didn't know how long it would take for it to get repaired, and Nancy was very concerned and willing to work with us if we needed to stay beyond our reserved 3 nights. Fortunately, we were able to get it fixed in time,and she checked with us to see how we were doing.

We needed a place at the last minute. They didn't have any pull thrus but they did have a dry camping place. They were all so kind and said we could have wifi, bathroom & shower access. We appreciate them fitting us in a spot since we are 60 feet long.

Nice size level pads dead grass except for around office. Needs a lot of TLC good for overnight

We have high plans for the park but unfortunately they take time. we have planted over 40 trees and more planned next year also landscaping is planned in the offseason.

Really enjoyed my stay, even though most stop for one or 2 nights we stayed the week and explored the area, there is alot to do there. Staff were friendly and always had time to stop and chat.

We have been traveling across country for about 4 weeks. We have been staying in KOA the whole time. Most journey KOAs we stayed at have been bare minimum in service and mainly gravel pits turned into an RV park. We weren’t expecting much when booking our reservation but the service, cleanliness, and layout of this KOA was impressive! We are road tired and we actually felt relaxed here. Thank yo

This campground is very convenient to travelers on I-80. It is clean, safe and well-maintained. It was exactly what we needed after a long day if traveling.

Not very well maintained. Almost no shade. No off-the-leash dog park. No escort to the site like at other campgrounds. Not enough trash dumpsters spread around the campground.

sorry you were unable to find Kamp K9, our off leash area for pet. It should have been listed on your site map and staff should have been able to guide you to it. Shade is a premium here as we are in the desert. we have planted many trees this year but they will take a while to grow.

I really hate to rate this campground so low. I spoke to the NEW owners son and found out that he just purchased the campground just 3 months ago. This campground HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL and the son says they are really trying to upgrade. From what I’ve seen, in a few, this will become a “great” KOA campground. Keep up the great work.

A nice easy access park for an overnight stay. The sites are a bit small but appeared to be easy to get into. The kids who checked us in were very friendly and helpful.

Campground need work,, between sites is spotted grass ,,dog park tall climbs of grass not cut,, Basketball backboard broken,, Horseshoes , there was picnic table over one of the pits. A lot of traffic noise. Close to town,, Showers and laundry are good , mostly an overnight stay. Park empties out by 11,,

We stayed here in a snow storm, the owner plowed for us, the restrooms and showers were very clean, and a very convenient stop off of 80 with propane fill, great WiFi, and even a doggie play yard! Lots of extras we appreciated!
