Campground Reviews

They put us between 2 other rigs when the rest of the park was nearly empty during a pandemic. Not happy, but I was exhausted and too tired to argue.

Great park. They go out of their way to allow you to have a relaxing stay. Even had package mail to office. 5 stars from me

Took my daughter and a friend to stay in a cabin. It was perfect. I didn’t know it had electricity and a fridge...what a plus!! There were other kids to hang out with and the girls had a great time! Staff was really helpful and friendly!! Over all a great experience!! One minuscule thing...I wish someone had mentioned the pool being closed...I didn’t even think about it NOT being open.

Great location. We are returning customers having stayed many times over the past 20 years. Recently renovated bathrooms are very nice though need more showers to support the size of this CG. Suggestion for improvement, get rid of torn and tattered picnic tables. Ours was broken and splintered and should not have been in use. We eat outside our rig as much as possible. Staff welcoming.

Love staying here! We always have a good time.

I registered myself & my yorkie and then pre-paid, using the online registration service, as I have always done. Upon checkin I was informed I had to pay an extra $10 for my yorkie because I didn't register her properly. ??? I questioned why, and was strictly told "You will pay it!" Overall, I got a crumby cabin spot & had to pay $92 for the memories. Won't go again.

We always enjoy our stay in Red Lodge and visit several times a year. We were disappointed in the restrooms, the showers in particular. The water pressure was very low and the shower curtains were filthy.

We had to change our plans due to weather and they were very accommodating. Also the heater did not work in our cabin and they were quick to fix it with a portable heater. Very friendly staff, Clean cabin and clean grounds. Thank you,

Not real sure as the weather did not cooperate with us at all. But it seems nice.

The cabin was nice came with a heater and lights. The bathroom was very nice! It looked brand new! The camp ground was small and the cabins were right no top of each other. The fire pit was poorly constructed. There is only a small store and a small pool that did not have water.

Restrooms very clean. Staff very nice.

It was horrible because of the weather but the service was great and the new people working there were nice.

After years and years of staying there. This was the worst. Seems like KOA has really gone down hill. 50.00 for a holey camp site. No water as said would be. Bathroom water took 15 minutes to even warm up. Definitely NOT worth 50.00. On a positive note much better than Salt Lake City one.

Red Lodge was our first KOA experience. Engaging staff, spacious low key location just 5 mi. north of town. Thanks to their hospitality, we are now bonafide KOA campers whenever we need hookups or laundry services during our travels. Red Lodge is a great little town with some really good food and a perfect home base to explore the northern entrance to Yellowstone via Bears Tooth Pass.

Quick and easy checkin. Great campsite and awesome bathroom/shower facilities. Spotless!!!!

Susan has went way up and beyond with all the fantastic improvements on the property. Always makes us feel welcomed and part of the KOA family. We have been going to the Red Lodge KOA since 2011. We absolutely love to watch the many changes.

So clean and so nice! Excellent stay!

Well, the first thing I want to complain about is the poor wifi service the campground is supposed to provide. It appears if you are not within 25ft. of the office you are not able to use it. I went to the office to see if anything could be done, and the host said she would reset the router. That didn't help at all, so we did without it all weekend. My next issue was with the fire pit at #13.

We have stayed at this KOA a number of time throughout the years and have always enjoyed ourselves.

Very nice spaghetti dinner provided. Grounds not maintained very well. Fire pit on our spot was too close to the trailer to use. Neighbor in same situation. Picnic tables needed painting. Just a general spruce-up needed. Staff very friendly.

Park was in poor shape. Electrical problem handled quickly and efficiently.

I had the best time....everything was clean and the staff was great The Kabins were in lovely locations. The bathrooms were really nice.

Entrance is small and deep pot holes are rough and road should be fixed!

Great people!

Hosts were delightful and cooked spaghetti dinner on Saturday night. The parking spots are somewhat close together and the grass is practically non-existent, otherwise most folks abided by the rules.

Great stay and have so much fun. We helped with the Customer Appreciation Dinner. Susan and her husband are the best. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay. Quite and friendly. Love the area.

Friendly people, great laundry, large off leash dog run and large site. It was wonderful and we had a very good time. We would return. We were in a 28 foot TT.

I have a 45 foot coach. They put me in a slip that was leveled but had a harsh slop off so when I pulled out it caused my custom splash guard that goes all the way across the back underneath the coach, to be severely crushed causing the 600 dollar custom flap to be destroyed. Showed it to the office and no one got back with me. The person that was in the office tookphotos to show the owner

The restrooms and showers were clean and warm. Our site needed a new picnic table.

Lovely campground and town

We stayed only 1 night but clean , nice drive thru with hookups, great cable. Really liked it!

Typically KOA sites are landscapes or manicured. This site was more like a rodeo arena. The sewage smell was overwhelming, there was hardly any grass but there was a lot of wood fragments.

Friendly, helpful staff. Services worked well.

The campground is very dusty. The roads around the campground are made up of a tiny bit gravel, but mainly dirt. The campground itself is in disrepair with old mattresses and a smoking dumpsite, all extremely visible! It's in a lovely location, just not well maintained for a KOA and the price point. The folks who run the KOA are friendly.

We stayed one night (August 28) in a camping cabin. We loved it! There's a mini fridge, heater and small ceiling fan in them. The bathrooms are clean. I loved that the showers are actually plastic showers and no hard mats! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.
