The campground was nice however our site (site 50) was right next to the garbage dump and we could smell the trash through the night. We found it strange that the garbage was so close the the camp sites and the horseshoe pits were out by the road. They need to rethink that layout.

It was a little tight to get around with a crew cab dually and 43' fifth wheel. But it was clean and everyone was nice. We enjoyed taking our dogs to the dog park.

I give it a 2 rating because the new owner came to us to ask for recommendations. They just bought campground in April. Place needs MUCH TLC. Playground from 1960's, dogs unleashed and running, our site in hill, no grass only hard dirt and rock, sites extremely close together. But maybe they will fix up over down season.

We arrived later in the day and our spot was occupied. The KOA people were very apologetic and found us an equally comparable site. On site bathrooms were clean and cleaned through the day. Very nice! I’d go again….

Our reservations were all messed up, on a very stressful weekend for the 15 sets of guests staying at the KOA. The new owner was pleasant, but may want to work the bugs out, especially with large parties who book so far in advance.

It was ok for a short visit but needs updating and we didn’t have sewer which all hookups should have.

The new owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way checking with each camper to be sure we were set up and doing ok. Kids had fun and loved the duck races!

Very nice hosts and nice pool. However the grounds are not very good. The grass was sparse and was not kept up. More like weeds. This could be a pretty campground if the grounds were given more attention. Too dusty and dirty.

Sites too close together and hard to back into. Dump station was easy to use. Campsite was pretty noisy.

Really no complaints about the owners or facility. Well maintained, clean and they're very accommodating and fun. The problem is due to the size of new rigs (mine's bigger than yours) the spaces are tight and it's sometimes difficult to maneuver. Not sure when this park was built, but they may need to revamp to keep up with the behemoths on the road now.

Dated facility with no apparent effort to address deferred maintenance. Most sites are pretty much dirt and dried up dandelions. Hosts reasonably friendly. Wouldn't book there again.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And the pool, what can I say, after an extremely hot day of riding the rally, the temp is perfect. Showers and restrooms were always clean and paper products always loaded and ready to go.

Great stay and staff very friendly with the kids and finding butterflys. Water was not very good as it tasted very chemically. I am assuming it is well water and has to be treated for safety. Warning to customers might be nice as it was a rude awakening with the coffee in the morning.

We always really enjoy our stay at the Red Lodge KOA. We stay there every summer and we are never disappointed! The new owners are wonderful and very accommodating! Thank you for doing such a great job!!

It was a little snug getting to our site, but we were given a heads up and advice on how to get in so that made it much easier that it otherwise would have been. The web app for laundry was great; no guessing and running to a half finished machine! If we visit the area again, Red Lodge KOA will certainly be our choice.

very pleasant atmosphere. Campground was clean and the pool area was inviting. Wish there were shaded areas for a Grandma to sit at while watching grandkids in pool. Laundry area was very clean as well.

I realize the new owners are working on improvements, and it was a nice enough park, but i thought it was over priced at over $90 night for a gravel site (but FHU). A small pool--but not a lot of other amenities. Very nice owner/operators, though.

The owners were very nice. Bathhouse was clean. Disappointed in landscape in general. It was a dust bowl to be exact. I hope the new owners address the landscape. All river rock gravel would be better then dead grass and dirt. Campers very close in the front park a bit more spacious in the back half. Maybe better length restrictions in the front half of park would help.

I’d stay there again for sure. Great location just north of the town, right off the highway, a pleasant stream runs right through the campground. Perfect gateway to the Beartooth!

I quess we got the worst spot in the whole koa !!!! Can't open the awning all the way out without you hit the guy next doors slideout and when i go out my front door you run into the next guys elect and water hookup !! no room , no shade , nothing but dust! spaces are way to close together

Great campground close to the start of Beartooth Highway. The new owners were very hospitable and the bathrooms and showers were updated and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful flowers and grassy sites. Unfortunately my neighbors had two dogs tied out frequently on 15-20 ft leads. They went under their rv and pooped on my site. I assumed someone would have seen them but no one came out to pick up so I ended up doing to keep our site clean.

Very friendly staff. Lost power but when it came back on they knocked on our door to tell us we could turn off our generator. Clean but not fancy. Basin sites. Would stay again.

We stayed one night (August 28) in a camping cabin. We loved it! There's a mini fridge, heater and small ceiling fan in them. The bathrooms are clean. I loved that the showers are actually plastic showers and no hard mats! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.
