The campground is located right off Highway 35. Directions from Corpus Christi: Head southwest toward I-37 N. Take TX-35 N to Farm to Market Rd 3036 in Rockport. Turn onto Loop 1781 and take a left into the campground. Directions from Highway 35 S: Follow Highway 35 S and exit at Loop 1781. The campground is on the right.

A few miles from the campground is one of the best beaches on the Texas Gulf Coast. The Blue Wave Beach is committed to protecting people and the environment, with safe swimming areas and a clean and pristine shoreline. You can also enjoy the walking trail, fish from the pier, see local bird species and have a picnic in the cabana.
The USS Lexington was an aircraft carrier that the United States Navy used during World War II. Today, it is a naval aviation museum featuring the largest publicly exhibited scale model plane collection in Texas, self-guided flight deck tours and a war plane flight simulator. The museum is about a 30-minute drive from the campground.
The Selena Museum in Corpus Christi is a must-see for fans of Selena Quintanilla Perez, the Queen of Tejano Music. The museum honors the famed singer's life and achievements, with exhibits showcasing her Grammy award, stage costumes, Porsche and other collections. The Selena Museum is a 35-minute drive from the campground.
The Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is passionate about protecting Texas Gulf Coast wildlife. It is the wintering home of one of the area's last flocks of whooping cranes. During your day trip to the refuge, you can learn about bay wildlife and enjoy recreational opportunities like fishing and hiking. The sanctuary is located in Austwell, about 42 minutes from the campground.
One hour away from our campground is The Texas Zoo, one of the best zoos on the Texas Coast. The Texas Zoo has a range of exhibits, where adults and kids can see and learn about animals from around the world. The zoo also hosts special events throughout the year, like themed family nights.
