We evacuated from Sulphur in southwest Louisiana because of Hurricane Delta. We were very pleased with everything - the campsite, the roads, the store, and especially the personnel. They were very pleasant and accommodating to our needs. On Saturday morning they provided a pancake breakfast for the campers, most of whom were evacuees like us. We will definitely return as tourists to the area.

Hi, I changed my itinerary due to hurricane Delta. Because of the hurricane, I feel that I should get a refund. I was not feeling comfortable possibly driving into a dangerous situation. I belief one should always error on the side of safety first. I feel that there are situations where KOA should be understanding and be compassionate. Mike

Very nice staff...quite place to chill out and relax....very clean place/ nice showers/ nice pool ,this was the second time staying here and it will not be the last either so THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THERE!

This is a beautiful KOA location and the staff were very friendly! They offer pizza ($) at the office that was delicious and delivered to your site. They also offer a complimentary pancake and coffee breakfast on Saturday, with the option to pay for additional items. The only downside was very weak wifi even when near the headquarters.

Everything was really nice. We just had an incident where my mom slipped in the shower due to slick floors. She hit her knee and is bruised. However, they were very quick to come put down some grippers. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

Perfect timing for us. School was back and Covid 19 greatly diminished campers. We stayed a week and loved the place, We picked an end spot that had great trees and privacy. The campground is a great place to relax and sit around and do nothing.

We will definitely be coming back. Very friendly staff. Campground was clean & well taken care of. Very quiet park, no traffic noise like others we have stayed in. They had a free pancake breakfast with coffee on the Saturday morning we were there. You could get eggs, bacon & biscuits/gravy for a small fee, but we chose the pancakes. The only thing I would change is the pancakes were cold.

As always, we enjoyed the campground. We did have an issue with centipedes in our cabin that we ended up sleeping in our car because they were crawling all over us. We woke up to them crawling on us. We mentioned this to the staff who said they spray weekly. We will return, but in our camper. The staff is friendly and the showers and restrooms were clean. Rusk Koa is quiet!

The site was well maintained and the staff was kind. If in Rusk, it’s a great choice with plenty of trees for shade!

The cabin was lovely but there was no bedding for the loft unit and we were not advised of this in advance, so that was not great. I would recommend putting bedding in there in future or making the guests fully aware of the fact that they must bring bedding themselves.

Everything was good. Manager had an attitude the whole weekend but the rest of the personnel was very friendly and help full.

The camp grounds are well kept and maintained, the bathrooms were clean at all times. Our stay was great and we had a wonderful weekend. The only downside was that the ground of our campsite was uneven, sleeping on air mattresses at night was a bit of a challenge.

Very well run campsite! Well organized! Very pleasant owners & staff who call you by name! Bathrooms always clean, always hot water in showers! I had a very pleasant long weekend stay in the Teepee! I highly recommend this KOA in Rusk TX to anyone who wants to get away from the city & recharge your batteries in the country! Thank you Bill & Pam!

I was not informed about a convention so the park was overcrowded worried about covid-19 was unable to use the facilities for my kids due to the overcrowding all night music all night partying

Loved the layout, the facilities, clean bathrooms. The wi-fi signal could have been better, very weak at C46, further from the office.
