Middle of the week during the Pandemic there weren't a lot of campers but still the facilities were super clean and in excellent repair. Short stay and had a good time.

Beautiful park, well maintained, and clean. Our hosts & staff were always pleasant and very helpful with any question or issue. Saturday breakfast is outstanding! Family & friends all had a great stay at well! This was our first visit to Rusk KOA and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful visit. The cabin we stayed in was great. We did have a lot of ants in the cabin that we had to keep our eyes on. The restrooms and showers were so clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast on Saturday was amazing! We were so impressed with our visit. It was quiet and not crowded at all. We cannot wait to plan another stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and park area.

Had a wonderful stay. Disappointed that there was no community fireplace as shown on the website and confirmation email. We had planned our meals and s’mores around that. Ended up having to buy everything to start a fire. Would have brought those items had we known.

Nice place. The cabin was more than I thought it would be. Coffeemaker ,dishes,toaster and microwave was a plus. Saves on less packing.

We would have liked some shade but it is a nice big park. I prefer picking my lot assignment up outside because of Covid and all should be wearing mask. Nice friendly lady called me on phone. Good park and location when riding the train.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities are clean and there are special activities for children. The staff are very friendly and the Saturday pancake breakfast was delicious!! Thank you!!

I wish I had not chosen such a hot weekend to come, but that is on me and Mother Nature. My daughters and I had a great time!

This was just a really great place. Nicest one I’ve ever been too. This place really tries hard. Lovey trees. Effort to have activities. Super clean and well maintained shower and bathroom area. Just a really really nice place. I don’t know what else there is to do in the area because we were just passing through but I’d stay there for days if there were things to see and do in the area.

I think when there are group activities especially during all this mess social distancing could have been enforced better. We did not participate in a lot because there was no social distancing. Other than that we had an amazing time.

Once again we had such a pleasant July 4th celebration. Bill and Pam went way out of their way for all the campers with the activities they had planned. Such fun and laughter for everyone. Can't wait to come back again and invite more of our friends. Thanks to Pam and Bill

Very nice site, it was easy in and out with our 39 foot fifth wheel. Park and restrooms are kept clean. Enjoyed our stay, we will be back.

Very nice, secluded, quiet area. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for what our needs were. Grandkids had a blast at the pool and renting the bikes available. Very nice, friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit, possibly in one of the "tents".

This koa camp ground is the best I stay at it is very nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of there way to help you so you have a great and wonderful stay with them and the park is very safe, clean and very enjoyable place I rate this park a 10 !!!

Lovely KOA! From the minute we pulled in, we had prompt and friendly service. It is a beautiful shaded park. We ordered pizza from the office and it was delivered to our campsite. Everything is clean and well kept. There was a pool, jump pad, basketball goal, play area, walking trail...lots to do!

I first stayed at this KOA in Rusk, Texas last October, rented a small log cabin and was very impressed! This time I utilized the owner’s fifth wheel trailer and it was a grand experience. Samantha Mora, Marketing Director for the Stephen F. Austin University Alumni Association in nearby Nacogdoches, should stay informed of this KOA location.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The host/hostess were nice and knowledgeable. The grounds were extremely quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the Saturday morning breakfast and the entire park felt like a small family. We will definitely be returning!

Clean, well kept laundry and restroom areas. The pool is nice but we didn’t use it this time. My kids really enjoyed the addition of the jumping pillow. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay. The sheets were very soft and a pleasant surprise! The only thing I would recommend is a dish drainer and a few more kitchen items like a measuring bowl and some better pots/pans. We ended up having to go to the store to buy a pan to cook dinner.

Owners are excellent! Campground are immaculate and beautiful! Cabins very neat and clean. Very nice pool and lots of things for kids to do! Will be back. Loved it.

Stayed in a cabin 3 weekends in a row. Staff is wonderful, facilities are clean, and all 3 stays were perfect. Plan to camp here again in the near future

I stayed in cabin #6. I was surprised to find out that it was 12 years old! I thought it was brand new. I thought it even smelled new. It was very clean, had everything I needed, and the community was very quiet and friendly. It was definitely family friendly and I felt safe and secure while there. I will continue to stay at KOA when I am in Rusk.

We were so impressed with this campground! Our tent site was level and shady, we had a light, water tap and electrical outlet, along with our own picnic table. The staff was kind and welcoming, my kids loved the pool and playground, the bathrooms and showers were so CLEAN! In fact, everything was well-maintained and clean, I was very impressed. We'll definitely be back. Highly Recommend!

My friends and I have camped at Rusk KOA several times and will come again. The saltwater pool is wonderful, so is the staff (Pam and Bill). The improvements, such as the jump pad and the rock panning station, are great.

We where just going to stay overnight but it was so nice and quiet that we stayed 3 nights . We will come back . They where very nice when we kept changing our minds about when we wanted to leave . They had nice cabins for non RVers .
