Wonderful site with mature shade trees, terrace, full hookups, Park has saltwater pool, jumpy pad, playground, play “mining” station, teepees, nice workers who will even pick up trash at campsite Great stay and campground

Our stay was layed back and very relaxing. The camping cabin had everything we needed, a refrigerator, a tv and microwave.

This is a great place to stay! We had to make a last minute change to our weekend plans and this was our place of choice. Close to an awesome drive-thru safari. Worth the stay! Thank you for all you do at Rusk KOA!

Our stay was very relaxing. The cabins are in the woods with lots of shade. Bathrooms are clean. Also liked the fact they have fenced dog park where my dog could safely run around and mark multiple trees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this campground to family and friends. Have already made another reservation for next weekend.

Everything was great, but one of the employees seemed to be a dictator. We had a family gathering and was unloading a p/u with supplies for 25 people. He came and told us the truck needed to be moved to the front. Common sense? We rented 2 cabins and 2 rv spots together. We had plenty of space to park for a few minutes. Also closed the pool an hour early. Rained next day.Kids were disappointed.

this is a GREAT KOA. The staff is very friendly. The place is very clean and well maintained. And they were super generous with activities and meals on a free and donation basis. We will definitely come again. We had a great RV spot, our friend had a nice cabin and my brother had a wonderful tent site. All three types of sites were great.

We love to stay at the Rusk KOA. It feels like our second home. Pam and Bill are always so accommodating to everyone's needs. All the staff should be commended for their excellent customer service and the cleanliness of the camp. Thank you to everyone. Trudy and Paul

Great stay, first time in a KOA in 45 years. Checkin was easy. Escorted us to our site. Rearranged some reservation to get our three trailers together. Brought firewood and ice to campsite. Dog park is lacking - sandy area that gets dogs dirty to enter camper. But walked them around lots of other green space. Had a camper set off fireworks one night but ended within 15 minutes. Overall great!

Everyone was extremely nice, accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay fun and pleasant. The grounds were very clean and well kept and bathrooms were very clean, which is so important! Great stay, will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Clean and friendly - what I expect from a KOA

We were there for 2 nights with our kids. We pulled in and were greeted and escorted to our space. The kids enjoyed every minute from the po to the jump pad. Thanks to the awesome and friendly staff for all you did. I had some trouble with my TT running lights and Mr Bill helped me troubleshoot the problem. We hope to come back for another visit.

Pam and Bill are the absolute best camp hosts. They made our stay very easy and enjoyable. They keep the entire park extremely clean and well manicured. Cannot find a single fault with Rusk KOA. We will be back

Campground was clean and well kept. The store was well stocked. They served a pancake breakfast on Saturday, very delicious. Bathrooms were clean and sanitized daily. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.

The management is absolutely the best. Of all the KOA’s Rusk is the cleanest and most well kept campground. We are soooooo pleased with our camping experience. It’s all about customer service and cleanliness. Thank you to The Holmes. You are awesome Trudy and Paul Philips

We had a very nice stay- the cabin was great, the camp staff were nice, and the park was quiet. We loved the pine trees and the walking paths in the woods. Our dog really enjoyed running around in the fenced dog park.

Had a great time with family. The bike trails and allowing a side by side was a great bonus! We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed our stay every time. Rest rooms are always clean and the staff or very friendly.

It's our tradition to go camping during Mother's Day weekend, and we were so glad to discover this KOA. Such a pretty location with great amenities. And we had tons of fun staying in a teepee! Cozy with a gas fire inside and an iron fire pit and picnic table outside. The staff was so friendly and wonderful--they were sweet to give me a yellow rose for Mother's Day. Can't wait to go back!

This would be our second time to stay at the KOA Rusk. We enjoyed it as much as the first time! My son stayed in a cabin and it was clean and comfortable. And we had a rv spot. Mining the rocks was fun again and the bicycles where a big hit for the family...always something to do! Its just a Beautiful, Clean, and Fun Place to stay!!! Thank you Ms Pam #1 Ms. Pam #2 and Mr Bill!!!

Spent a night in the cabins and loved it. Grounds very well kept and extremely quiet. Exactly what I needed to unwind bring a nurse in Houston. Will definitely be back.

It was great! Had a great breakfast with you. The pancakes were good! Ou only complaint would be the sandburrs in the grass! Our poor puppy dog had bunches! But we understand it would not be feasible to get rid of them!! We will be back if ever in your area again! Thanks!
