Overall its a nice park . Things I wished they had 1) more comfortable beds/futon ( bunk beds was better ) . 2) Pond for fishing 3 ) some kind of walking trails Then for the price of one small cabin its expected that the guest clean up even take out the trash, wash dishes and sweep ( I do not agree with that ) not when you can rent a motel for cheaper and not have to clean up .

Our family enjoyed all the activities offered at the park. Favorites were Swimming,rock mining, volleyball, playing in the fenced in small playground ,getting icecream at the store and the nature trails kept us busy for the day to then enjoy a fire at night. Very Clean Family Friendly RV Park! Thank you Ms Pam for making our stay the best!

Beautiful, quiet park and friendly staff. We will stay there again after COVID-19, when we can enjoy the area attractions.

The customer service was more than excellent. The campground was so clean and inviting. The bathrooms were exceptional and I love the showers. We already made our next reservation at this site. Thank you so much for making our rainy stay pleasant. Trudy and Paul Philips

Clean, well maintained park with very helpful and accommodating management. Beautiful setting and comfortable rally hall. Additions being made which will only enhance the experience.

Very clean, peaceful stay. The park is hidden perfectly in the hills & trees of East Texas. We have told everyone about this gem, and are looking forward to returning!!

We had a great time! It was beautiful and very relaxing. The showers and restrooms were extremely clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again!

Our family enjoyed the Rusk KOA very much. It’s beautiful & clean, very friendly staff and great customer service! We will definitely be returning here again soon. Special thanks to Pam & Bill for being so humble & kind to my children and for the pine cone souvenir.

Super nice campground. Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. Great getaway spot in the country. Nice and level. We were in a 40 ft diesel pusher. Pam, Dee and both Bills were wonderful hosts.

Stayed there with an RV Rally Group. This is the 3rd year we have been there and see no reason not to come back. The managers of the park are excellent and the facilities are great.

Had a great stay. The staff and campers were very friendly. The Saturday morning breakfast was great. Rusk KOA is centrally located between several small cities making it a good location for site seeing.

We stayed four nights in March and loved the pease and quiet. This is a beautiful campground and seems to be overlooked by travelers passing through the area . We will recommend this place to all we meet on our travels.

The campground was quite nice. Looks to have good amenities in season. Only complaint - outdoor sinks for those of us not cleaning dishes, etc., in our campers, no hot water and one of them had a sprayer that when we turned on the water, sprayed out the side of the nozzle. Luckily we were off to the side or we would have been soaked.

This was probably the best KOA that we have stayed at. Definitely the quietest one (which we love) and the grounds were well kept! Our granddaughter loved hunting the yellow pine cones!! Unfortunately we had an emergency come up and had to check out a day early. But we will be back!!

The staff is awesome!!! New teepees and a new mining station recently installed took our favorite KOA to the next level. Looking forward to our next stay in the fall. Bill and Pam are the best.

Third stay at the Rusk KOA, can’t wait to go back. Clean, quiet, level easy to navigate pull through sites, attentive and friendly staff & great place to be and relax in the beautiful east Texas Piney Woods.

Was good but due to the drill rig next door was noisy at times!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We here at Rusk KOA pride ourselves on how quiet it is here. You must have mistaken this campground with another you stayed at. There are no drill rigs near here.

Managers were great! They were very knowledgable re what the town of Rusk had to offer. Our bed was really loud in and deluxe cabin we loved the dog park area. The site was really clean.

The cable tv was very fuzzy. Poor reception on certain channels. The internet was very slow and unreliable.. The staff was friendly and attentive. The laundry room was excellent. Appreciated our empty propane tanks being picked up, refilled and hooked up again for us!

KOA In Rusk Texas is one of the best kept KOA’s we have ever stayed at. Friendly staff that are very accommodating for anything you need. They welcomed us like we were family and made sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend and we will definitely return ! Thank you Bill and Pam and Jack and Carol.
