I have been here at least twice a year for the last 4 years. The location is so pretty and the pool is great. Camp hosts, Pam and Bill, have been there for a couple of years and are wonderful, helpful people.

It’s a really nice RV park. All of the facilities were very clean and all utilities worked perfect, including cable TV service. The owner and management staff were extremely helpful and friendly folks. It was a great place to camp and to see all the sites in the area.

We always love our time in Rusk. The campgrounds and facilities are exceptionally clean. The grandkids always find new friends there. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and reconnect.

I called late in the day for a site for the night and they were very accomodating. They gave me very explicit directions from my location and even though it was dark and late in the evening, were waiting at the gate for us. Clean sites and restaurants---very pleased.

Nice clean RV park. Nice dog park. Salt water pool. Modern washers and dryers in laundry room. Lots of large pull throughs for big rigs. Nice tree shaded tent spots too.

We were running late in arrival time. When we arrived shortly after 8p, Bill came up to the office to greet us and show is to our site. It a beautiful KOA. It is evident the team, host, helpers and owners have worked hard to receive the awards provided. We would like to stay with our entire family to enjoy all the facilities in the future. Awesome KOA!

From the height of the tall pine trees to the depth of the swimming pool, Rusk KOA has covered it all! We have never stayed in a better KOA ... and we've stayed in quite a few! Bill and Pam are the perfect hosts and were always eager and ready to make our stay one that we will never forget. I guarantee you, the next time we visit The Piney Woods, we WILL stay at Rusk KOA!

Campground was very clean and well laid out. No problems with site or hookups. Best part was the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Found new friends in them as a result of this stay. All KOA's should be this way!

We enjoyed our stay at this RV park so much we stayed one more day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The park is kept up so nicely. We will be visiting again very soon.

Short stay, but the park was immaculate and the host couple was the best....friendly, always smiling and very accommodating. We arrived later than anticipated, and they had hosted a huge Poagie Fest the weekend before we got there on Monday, but they were right there to guide us to our space. Love this park.

We stayed in a rented RV that was delivered and picked up by the owner. The whole process was very smooth and easy. The kids loved the pool and pedal bikes. The tent are has wonderful tree cover and our friends’s tent camping site is where we hung out most of the time. Bathrooms were immaculate. We will definitely return.

Disappointed that you didn't require the "special event" celebration to adhere to the quiet time hours. The broadcast music was loud and annoying.

We were there to visit the Texas State Railroad. Staff very friendly, the space was great, level with good power and water. Location of park is nice and away from main highway.

Has to be the most friendly KOA I’ve every used. They guide to your parking spot, they bring ice to your area, and pickup trash every morning. I left my coaxial cable at home and they provided one for my stay. Just an awesome experience. I will return in the future.

Enjoyed the pool! Staff, Pam and Bill, are so nice. Eager to see the new teepees that are being built. Level pads and lots of trees to help shade many sites.

I had originally booked a tent site, but when we arrived the weather had turned and it was going to storm. So we upgraded to a Rustic Cabin, before I had even finish saying I'll take it, Bill was heading out the door to turn on the AC. Such Nice people! I'm looking forward to visiting Rusk again and will be stay at this KOA. Letting friends and Family know about it also. Great place so peaceful.

Did not bring our rig this stay. We stayed in cabin and brought our sleeping gear with us. Had a great stay and enjoyed our campfire and smores. The bathrooms were clean and showers were great!!

We had a great visit! My daughter and I rested well, comfortably and peacefully. Even our old grandma dog was calm and restful. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and helpful!

The Delux Cabin was amazing! We were very comfortable. As camping enthusiasts that have are now in our 40's and my dad in his 70's, we miss it so much but tents are tough on us. This was a perfect balance of the comfort we need and the outdoors we love!
